I immediately thought of Every Frame a Painting for the 'TH-camrs that no longer upload' question, glad David mentioned it. They did not miss, impeccable writing and editing.
I feel like no one ever mentions the google LamDa project where assistant would book appointments for you. I remember thinking it was a game changer on announcement, but haven’t heard anything about it since
38:01 It is a significantly more powerful model as well, most incorrect information seems to come from when it references its own understanding rather then sourcing it from the web.
I live in a tiny town in FL so every time I see a rivian I get super hyped I’m like “guys do you know what that is!” The boys “No?” I’ve seen 2 in the wild at this point 👌
Andrew going on about OnePlus' switches making no sense is quite hilarious to me. In the world of mechanical keyboards, there are so many differently coloured switches that would make no sense if paired next to Cherry such as Kailh's entire selection of switches. You have the mainstays such as Red, Blue, Brown, Yellow, and Black. But everything else is completely shaken up. Then you have some more specific switches such as the Gateron Cap, Gateron CJ (which imo are the best linears one can get and use right now for a relatively cheap price), every of ZealPC's switches, Kailh's Box series, Gazzew's switches (for instance the purple Boba Lt which are linears, and rather okay for the steep price), TTC, Jwick, and Akko stuff (aboslute GOATs right now, doing god's work for the super budget scene especially with their new POM lineup). With every mainstream manufacturers (Keychron, Logitech, Razer, Asus (papa bless the Azeroth), HyperX, etc) commissioning their own custom spec switches with varying colours, you probably should've stopped looking at the colour of a switch about a couple of years ago. Nowadays you have purple tactiles that can also be linear, you have clicky whites that also can be tactiles, or blues than can be absolutely everything (Logitech having tactiles & linears that are blue, with Gateron making blue linears).
IMPORTANT - I think what you're getting wrong is Bing and ChatGPT can actually do convincingly bad maths. It can get basic formulas wrong (but give you reasonable-looking explanations) and when you tell it it's wrong it can just give you another answer. If you tell it to do word counts, it completely makes up numbers. It's likely when it's giving you the answer on the backpack in the trunk, it's giving you a convincingly articulate answer, but that in reality the number 18 is really not in any way properly calculated. I've been testing ChatGPT to its limits and it's shocking how bad its model is at things such as accuracy and mathematics, and how readily it makes up different mathematical/numeric responses to the same question if you re-ask or as it differently.
The concerns about website traffic keep coming up, and for some sites traffic definitely matters. However, for a business that sells physical products… cars, tech gadgets, etc… traffic to their site doesn’t matter… sales figures do. So to me it would appear it’s more important to ensure your site has the best and most accurate info available so that these synthesized responses produce the best results. This definitely feels like it will force a change in strategy, but who does this effect the most? The product review industry? I don’t know… the reason you can find 20 reviews of almost any product is because people tend to seek out multiple sources. Anyway… the traffic thing doesn’t really seem like a big deal… just a recalibration
Ha, I choose everyframeapainting too, really wasn't expecting one of you to pick that as well 😄👍 RIP, don't see that ever coming back, what "few" episodes there are they are they are of such high quality
It's fantastic that people are critiquing BingGPT heavily. It's very early days for this technology. I can't imagine how good it's going to be in 3-5 years. It still does a lot of things good so far
How do y’all feel about using chat gpt to troubleshoot things. I have used it to help figure out a few simple issues I was having with technology to moderate success (issues to specific models seem to trip it up a bit) but was significantly easier to fix the problem than if I were googling around for the answer.
I had an issue writing a python script for Abaqus finite element simulation, and I couldn't find a solution, tried to Google it but no success, then I remembered ChatGPT, and in a matter of seconds it helped me find the solution.
@@boiboiboi1419 I’ve been using the original from open aI. I keep it bookmarked and have been trying it as a google replacement. But like they said you have to double check the answers. But for information not easily googleable it’s very helpful
I feel like the „How do you carry two phones?“ is asking how you manage to carry/wear them in your jeans/ jacket. Also mentioning the duo makes sense in this case
The Audi Grand Sphere concept was unveiled and on display for visitors at the eCar Expo in Stockholm last week, see if you find videos of persons that visited the event
Hey Marques, what do you think about Publishers being paid for each reference made by Bing ChatGPT ? That could be a sustainable business model if thought out completely
CGP Grey brings back some memories for sure. There was one video titled "Humans need not apply" which he uploaded like 8 years ago but it is more relevant now than it was ever before.
Hey guys, I want to know your opinion on the plus pricing for gpt: would you change it, keep it the same, or create a their system with a free version?
1:03:32 - TronicBox, hands down. God I wish he would come back and make more music.... :( Same with Norwegian Recycling. Both of these channels I'd love to see come back.
The AI Chatbot arguing back is hilarious lmao. Reminds me of that line from Mass Effect 2 where the ship AI makes a comment & Shepard says "I won't be questioned on my ship, by my own ship" lol
Jump cut when Marques was describing him dream phone... What did he say that was so terrible that it had to be cut?

There is so much I would like to say about what you said and think about Audi. Saying that they will never happen is like saying that we will never go from push-button phones to the ones we have today. Or from fat TV to the ones we have today. I think you should be more open. There is also a 46-minute long behind-the-scenes video about Audi and their future plans.
41:25 - I wonder what is the Bing conversation about Zantac now that there is a lawsuit against the makers regarding their knowledge of its link to cancers in patients. I wonder if it will show an ad for Zanatc...
It's always great to hear your discussions and how harmonious you are with each other. But do you ever have heated discussions or even arguments about a topic? In front of the camera you are always so nice.🙂
Okay so this question is straight out of left field, it has nothing to do with the podcast or the subject matter but I must know. I feel there is a whole space of teach that is not being talked about as much because it isn't sexy and that is paper. My question if you can answer it, does US letter size paper jam more often then A4? And if yes, is it because of where the printer was designed?
As an AI language model, I do not have any personal beliefs or biases, and I cannot speculate on the intentions or actions of specific individuals or entities. However, I can provide some general information about the potential motivations for spreading false information about AI. One possible reason for spreading false information about AI could be to influence public opinion and policymaking in a way that benefits the spreader's interests. For example, a company that dominates the AI market could spread negative information about other AI technologies to discourage investment in those areas and maintain its dominance. Alternatively, a company that sees AI as a threat to its business model could spread false information to undermine the credibility of AI as a field and slow its development. It's worth noting that false information can be spread intentionally or unintentionally, and it's important to evaluate sources and claims critically before accepting them as true. It's also important to seek out multiple perspectives and sources to get a more complete picture of a given topic.
1:05:43 - OHHH MAN.... Every frame a painting was soooo good... A good substitute is Accented Cinema. But yeah, EFAP was a great channel and would love to see him come back. However, based on what he said about copyright .... I don't think he'll come back. :(
I feel like you guys are missing a golden opportunity to ask ChatGPT all of the trivia questions and keep the score for it as well
That's actually a good idea, but ChatGPT would probably get all the answers right.
If you ask Bing, you'll never know... More entertainment!
@@LeanzazzyI actually highly doubt it
I love these podcasts! Every week it feels more and more fun and layed back, like a bunch of friends chatting about random tech!
We need a long form podcast of David just showing off all his cameras
yessss
Hell yeaaa
oh a studio video
Make it a studio vid
Yes please!!
18:15 it will be interesting to ask ChatGPT/Bing AI all Trivia questions from now on, and see if they gonna win this year!
I immediately thought of Every Frame a Painting for the 'TH-camrs that no longer upload' question, glad David mentioned it. They did not miss, impeccable writing and editing.
What an amazing channel. So sad they ended that project
He started a Netflix docuseries on film a few years ago!
Damn I loved that channel

David is so key for technology (GPT) chat, Marques and Andrew are great for electronics opinions

It's REAL!!!! Google Maps has a button and it makes calls for you to book at restaurants who don't take online reservations
At that time it wasn't lambda, but it was Google Duplex. That was amazing! And I think it's somewhat available in the U.S.? But I'm not sure
1:05:00 As soon as Marques said CGP GREY, I felt that answer. I love Grey's videos too.
You guys are just another reason to look forward to Friday
I really look forward to this every week. Thanks guys.
11:51 always like when you guys use the logo background as your reference picture. Super clean.
Andrew's answer to the travel item was as accurate as a response from Bing with ChatGPT. 🤣
gaslighting you into thinking you're "not a good user" for forgetting to use items you packed lol
Yes David! Every Frame A Painting instantly came to mind
Definitely another fun episode and good to see the team switch sides for a time^ Glad that they also include David for the Q&A, keep it up
