Even when they do turn up, they're useless... With the 2 separate sword fights, with 2 separate households, which happened in the last 5 years, no armed Police were sent, and no ambulances were sent. It's time the police started simply telling the people who call them complaining about a member of public with a camera or a drone that it's perfectly legal. ....They are slowly getting there.
If they stop at the roadside, they have to. The system in the cars takes a lot of power, i.e., ANPR RT, and if they have put the lights on. Marked units never get turned off. They go through three shifts a day. The only time they get turned off is when they go to the workshop.
The more the video goes on, the more that idling, fishing, tired and/or uninterested, Joanne Froggatt-a-like, female cop, angers me. She gets annoyed when questions aren't answered, which they don't have to answer. She mentions section 43. After DJ has explained that they were filming in a public place, she rudely starts talking on the radio. She says she's not satisfied with their answer of filming in a public place... She carries on fishing for details of why they're filming and where the footage will be going. She assumes they've been on private land. Claims she wasn't fishing for details, when she clearly said "What's the website?" just 26 seconds earlier. Still wants to know what it's for, even though it's none of her business, and is irrelevant. After PJ has explained they film businesses usually on industrial estates, and DJ explained a scenario of why you might film a company, she assumes it's some type of revenge, and gets annoyed with DJ for correctly pointing out her fishing attempt. She clearly wasn't happy about having to provide her details, especially as she hadn't got their details. She gets more and more annoyed, admits she isn't interested in learning about drone laws, and only wants to know the reasons for lawful drone filming. Then the male cop uses the repetitive line... "You can see it from our point of view" No, no I can't! It has nothing to do with you. Doesn't announce he's filming, and says " It's not a problem." I would answer every cop question with, "It is none of your business. Go tell the Police time wasting company, that members of the public are allowed to film anything they can see from public." And I would point out the idling too.

Hi P J, this young policewoman is having a problem with you two, she seems to think that she has some proper reason for her concerns when in fact without any evidence of an offence she has no justification for her behaviour. At the point at which she ventures into speculation this just digs an ever deeper hole and somebody needs to teach her to stop digging. For a variety of dodgy 'reasons' far too many cops seem to think that the public have to serve them not the other way round. I will give her some credit for sitting there listening to you, it does make a pleasant change to encounter a cop who is not too rude and aggressive. The second one rocks up and dives in when it gets to the bit about his camera he twitches and wriggles about a simple yes no answer to your legitimate question, he then give a typical torrent of cop-waffle about what you 'must' accept about them being silly. I do still think that the service you provide with your observations and information is probably the best training they are going to get, really the Home Office should be paying you!. Cheers, Richard.

Two Police cars for this when they won't even turn up to actual crimes. We'll have to start adding "and they had a drone with them" whenever we report anything in future....
they do turn up to crimes though.
@@yetidodger6650 not in my recent personal experience I'm afraid. I understand that Police resources are scarce but this makes it all the more frustrating to see them waste time due to the paranoia that a camera seems to ignite.
@@yetidodger6650 They don't. I live on a main road, which is part of the city wide ring road, just over 1 mile from the main central police station.
I've reported countless things over the years, which I've seen out of my window like:
Car crashes (there's been at least 8-10 in the last 4 months in the exact same spot), roof tile theft, criminal damage, attempted car theft, fights, fights with swords & machetes etc
It's roughly 50/50 whether they turn up or not.
Even when they do turn up, they're useless...
With the 2 separate sword fights, with 2 separate households, which happened in the last 5 years, no armed Police were sent, and no ambulances were sent.
They sent just a couple of unarmed female cops, who had a quick chat which lasted no more than a few minutes, with people in the gardens of those households, then left.
They didn't take any written statements from them or me.
They didn't arrest anyone.
And they didn't confiscate any weapons.

PJ and DJ wrapped these two police constables in knots. They got a rude awakening and free education. 😎👍🏻
And wasted the officers time and prevented her from carrying out her duties. Just tell her what you're doing and she can carry on. She's only there because some building owner called the Police and she was directed to attend. You 'auditors' are simply there to antagonise people. GET A FU*KING JOB and earn the right to exist.
@@IanM18 I agree. These auditors actually delayed police car #2 from getting to KFC (16:32). Police car #1 couldn’t even be bothered getting out of the car. I’m pretty sure DJ and PJ are both employed.
I do love the “obviously you can understand it from our point of view”. This is “obviously” the phrase taught when stopping and questioning people who are undertaking lawful activities.
Spot on. They are thr only people in the country that talk with that robotic mind controlled training.
Section 3.5.5 of police policy states they are contractually obliged to inform you they are recording under police policy and GDPR rules and regulations.
It’s a policy that ensures they don’t break a law, but the importance is lost on them.

It's time the police started simply telling the people who call them complaining about a member of public with a camera or a drone that it's perfectly legal. ....They are slowly getting there.
I agree if they are complying with the CAA legislation and guide lines
It’s like reporting someone for driving a car. So the next question should be, are they breaking any rules?
That’s far too easy!
The lads together. Constructive conversation loved it. ❤
I did not think it was constructive. They let her ask stupid questions and PJ saying stupidly we are doing nothing wrong pathetic
The fact police respond to businesses with their own (3rd world) security quicker than Doris who got burgled 3 days ago. 🤦♂️

did she have her car on idle for the entire time?

Doesn't announce he's filming, and says " It's not a problem."
I would answer every cop question with, "It is none of your business. Go tell the Police time wasting company, that members of the public are allowed to film anything they can see from public." And I would point out the idling too.
You were filming a news organisation in public? and, they complained to the police? ROFL
20mins with the diesel engine running. It’s easy spending other people’s money
If they don't want their building filming, they shouldn't put it in a public place. Are we supposed to close our eyes if we walk past it?
yeah never any logic to that. they put a ''private'' building in middle of the town and expect ppl to avoid it or what? lol.
if its so secret then put the building in a secure and secret location where nobody can enter.

It would seem that the public pay for the police to to protect the privacy and interest of business against lawful activity, while we, the public, don’t get the same attention if a property crime such as burglary is committed agains us.
Next time anyone gets burgled when you ring the police just say you there are two men out side flying a drone you will get 2 cars in minutes, no trouble😆
Telling them someone is smoking weed gets a speedy response too.
Next time the kids are out dealing or wrecking something get a drone and film them police should be out in a second.
The police were completely disinterested when I had my car and a few years later, a bike stolen, yet they can quickly attend 'non-crimes'. The need to challenge professional, friendly and non-confrontational auditors is yet another area in which police prioritise the investigation of public concerns over genuine criminals.
