I'm A PCSO And I Can Ask You To Delete That Video 😲🎥❌🤣🤣🤣

  • Today we take a look around Watford Police Station, Shady Ln, Watford WD17 1DD.
We have a little confusion with the Front Desk staff in regards to the opening hours and then take a walk around.
We then bump into a PCSO who really DOES NOT like the camera.
He persists to tell us how he doesn't like being recorded and ASKS members of the public to DELETE it.
I am so shocked by this that I need to speak to him more about this.
Then his Sargent arrives to clear things up for him.
We all depart on good terms and hopefully PS educates PSCO enough for a member of Watford's fine public never to be asked to delete a video ever again!
    Enjoy!

It’s a shame that DJ didn’t get the name of the PCSO at the time but then again he could have examined the list of names, numbers and photographs that were posted information adjacent to the public entrance. He could then have used that information to straight away to call the sergeant and thePCSO to inform them both that their names were now known, so DJ can now follow up on the PCSO’s retraining status.

Its hypocritical, considering the police record you with their body cameras, police cars record you with internal and external facing cameras, they record your image on ANPR and speed cameras, the police helicopters record you, and even police drones have cameras to record you. Even the council record you using pole mounted CCTV. There is no law gives them the right to record you then demand you dont record them.

Not only is it a mere public serving role (such as retail), he is 'community support', which other than local councillors / MPs is about as public as it gets. So much so, that you could have a public profile such as the officers detailed on the notice board. How you could expect or 'prefer' not ot be recorded in that role is unbelievable with the amount of personal cameras today. Maybe a role that is less public-facing would be more suitable for him.

The funniest of it was when the old age pensioners compleated a vault robbery a few years back, they drilled a hole into the vault and stole millions, the police gimmicked on how easy it was to catch the robbers due to modern technology such as purchasing bus tickets with their credit cards or cctv recording..
What they forgot to point out was that this was evidence that was picked up after the robbery had taken place...they never saw them arrive, drill holes in walls, they foiled the alarm systems and left with the loot without any notice..it was only their age and the lack of understanding modern technology that got them AFTER the job was done...it is infact the plod that look like muppets in that case..to be fair cops had FA to go on and were just lucky...
