For anyone who’s traveling alone, NEVER SAY YOU ARE ALONE. She probably just said the truth cause she was scared or nervous. But you should ALWAYS lie! Make them think people are near you or expecting you. Its also good to know the locations of any police stations in the city/town you’re in. If someone’s following you, don’t walk home, walk to the police.
@Karma Never said it was the best option or even a walking distance from one’s location 🤷♀️ I don’t understand what you mean about it taking police hours to arrive. I wasn’t necessarily talking about calling them. If you are in walking distance of the police then you should walk there or somewhere safe obviously.
All of those stalkers were pathetic little men. As a man i could beat the fuck out of them all. They clearly never had a girl because of how pathetic they are
I HAVE A INTERNET STALKER! I badly wanna file a case on her cause she's literally tryna steal my identity. Imagine donwloading every picture of me and pretending that I am her on instagram? I'm so traumatized still I can't have an insta account publicly😭 she's been stalking me since 2019 till now. Idk why she's so obsessed with me when there's nothing special about me. I'm so tired🤦♀️ but I need to live. If only getting an attorney is not expensive. I want her being punished cause she really cross so much line she doesn't know limits.
please remember this now that you know, tho. it's a tactic many women use when they are desperate. I have been both people in the situation (approached someone who looked safe and also been approached.) we do this when we have already tried other options and are afriad. so if someone approaches like this, play along, look around for who they might be ditching, stay calm, and make sure they have a safe exit.
I did that once for a girl at a club. back then I was awkward and weird, but she obviously didn't know when she needed help. Later I saw her a few times that night and noticed that she was steering clear of me. I must have also come off as creepy. Lol. I don't blame her. Gotta stay safe.
Being a woman alone in Japan seems like an absolute nightmare. Even if you live in a peaceful town it seems that a lot of people turn a blind eye to public assault. Especially in this video we can see a lot of the women went up to foreign men for help instead of other Japanese people.
additional reason for witnesses (bystanders etc.) not helping the victim is the shame-centered culture. all social interactions are very structured, minimal in outward expression and either black or white. the community is above any individual, opposite to e.g. USA.
yeah like people keep saying "Japan is such a safe country" as if things like in this video aren't disturbingly common 💀 it's not safe if you're a woman
As a woman just beginning to stream, this is my worst fear. I literally had to move last year due to my neighbor forcing his way into my house, him leaving notes on my doorstep, ADMITTING to me that he bought binoculars just to watch me through my blinds, climbing onto my bedroom balcony to smoke cigarettes at night (he knew I disliked the smell), and admitting to me that he stole my underwear from the shared laundry at the complex. The property managers did nothing to help and neither did the police. It blows my mind that people don't take stalkers seriously. To this day, he still stalks my social media and uses generated numbers to try to contact me. I refuse to let this stop me from pursuing a passion with streaming, though. Women shouldn't have to live in fear. tuvington, btw
It's both scary and sad knowing how someone could get so attached to you that they become so dependent/addicted to your existence and their idea of you.
about the 1st girl as a half german who speaks german that phone call gave me chills. Understanding every single word and also how panicked she sounded. It broke my heart.
@@Diet_sprite ppl react to uncomfortable situations differently bc they don’t want to upset the other person and possibly expose themselves to more danger. it’s hard to know what u should do if ur alone AND in a foreign country
@@Diet_sprite she probably laughs because she was afraid to make those creepy dudes upset, we don't know what will happen next, it would most likely bring more danger to jasmine if she did told them she was uncomfortable. Sometimes you just gotta play along with them in order to save yourself yknow
@@raveens It's simply an uncomfortable laugh. That was probably part of the reason, but not the main motive - it's a primordial way to say without words that what you're doing ain't right. It annoys tf out of me how this happens, but I find even more annoying how normalized this is, specially in highly populated areas. It's revolting how in 90% of recorded videos I see of this sort in public, there's not a single punch or kick thrown by a bystander. Idk how anyone can consider themselves normal/good people and not do shxt when confronted with this - and all you need to do to notice is look.
Its so upsetting to see all these female streamers trying to have fun and maybe make a living out of something they enjoy, and see so many assholes traumatizing them. These creepy people are the reason why i wouldnt stream ad myself but as another “persona” with no cam or some v tuber system. I do hope people get wiser and law enforcement actually take threats towards creators more seriously
Yeah same here. If having 20k followers got me a ton of stalkers I cannot imagine what streaming would do. I have thought about maybe wearing a mask(i have a creepy one from 1980’s but i just can’t imagine dealing with these weirdos.
It's not simping or white knighting to recognize and call out what women go through. It's just being a good person and a good man, in particular. Thank you.
The first girl got me crying for her, she literally said she was scared to get her groceries because of some weird ass creep is shipping food to her house, I really hope the girl is doing okay
It seemed like a clout chase to me... She was on the phone to the stalker and "chat" could hear everything both her and "the stalker" clearly. Two seconds later she's on the phone to the police and you can't hear a word they are saying 🤦🏿♂️
@@jangofett9083 whether the stalker was watching the stream or not we wouldn't have heard them. We would have just heard her twice. Or if we could hear them we should have been able to hear the police too. Seems a little more than suspicious is all I'm saying...
I feel so sorry for jadeyanh, the stalkers should definitely be ashamed of themselves for treating her that way. Edit: I forgot about this comment, checked my notifications and saw a replay to it, i later found out this had over 4.2k likes. thank y'all so much!.
I’m sitting here like “what the fuck did she do to deserve THAT?!” That was disgusting, she was in tears and I just felt horrible for her. God, some people need to be aborted post birth.
The sad thing is, this people that thinks these girls showing their bodies "deserves it" cannot be changed no matter how much you explain to them, their minds are closed to their beliefs and also playing the role that they think they're better
The girl on the beach was literally just chilling with chat and these creepy guys kept trying to touch her :(( I wish the world could be better and we can all get along without anyone ruining it but that’ll never happen…
I just wished ppl like that never reproduced or ever got a woman. let them die alone but unfortunately ppl like them come in all types of ways and not just the lonely nerd you think of. and they do get women.
Jasmine is the prime example of women trying to be nice in order to avoid chaos. It’s so easy to say hey why not just curse him out or walk away, but a lot of the times that leads to violence. I hate that she had experience that 3 separate times. Hopefully she doing great.
Thanks, I really had to understand this. That's what I initially thought but then I realised creepy men are creepy and there's no right way to handle them
I don't think she was being nice, she was clearly clowning on them on live stream. She didn't have enough situational awareness as an adult in an adults body that the situation had gone south when they were asking her if she was alone. Time to stop being nice there - DO NOT GIVE MIXED MESSAGES, esp to guys who clearly have no concept of consent. Myself and my wife have taught our daughter how to do this and she would have contained this situation easily.
It drives me so mad that stalkers will feel so entitled to people they haven’t even met, and willingly break any laws to get their sick ways. Thank you for covering this topic, as we move more towards the online world being intertwined with the real world we must show the dangers this poses. Also, while the subject is relevant, I’d like to also mention the example of Vexoria the Sun Eater’s stalker. Bastard apparently threatens to call CPS, and thankfully law enforcement has been contacted. She’s returned to streaming, but how terrifying is it that even setting up a virtual persona and that’s still not enough to stop stalkers.
Someone tried to touch my cousin like that that's the first time I have ever broken someone's hand. These people are disgusting just doing that to women
Right? I’m so used to this shit that I immediately start off with a “f yourself.” Like I won’t even give dudes a chance to talk to me. Instead I pursued. It was safer for me that way.
Right, if you're IRL streaming, make friends first, then, you could get a friend or two to protect you, especially if you're a good looking woman, we got bad apples, there could be some bad apples in that same city or town you're in.
Tuv . Hi, not like you will see this but I am a female streamer whom has been sa and bullied by people from school. Because of this I’ve found it so hard to see males in a good light. However watching your videos and your respect and overwhelming positivity for females has made your channel a safe place and I really hope you go far in life. You’re truly amazing Tuv, thank you.
The way the women laugh when they are uncomfortable brings up bad memories for me. Its a defense mechanism, when we feel threatened our primary goal is to de-escalate and remove ourselves from the situation with minimal conflict. Conflict is when things escalate into assault. But i can already see men watching this and claim that its flirting when its not. and this is where the whole victim blaming comes into the situation. Hell, i even had that conversation with my dad and it took him so long to realize that women dont naturally act out when in threatening situations.
they don’t care if we try to de-escalate a situation, they know they make us uncomfortable and thats why they do it, they’re not naive and they get off on on our pain
as a woman and survivor myself: I can immediately sense "that" laugh, search for exits, de-escalating tone etc. women send many (unconscious) signals to other women or safe people around them. I try to check up on any women in situations where the vibes are off. one time it saved a girl from being beaten up by her boyfriend.
@@Muddydot look im all for equality but men are naturally stronger than women, which is also reinforced by societal standards as well. So, for example, if a beefy biker guy comes up to you and starts making comments about how he would like to go to pound town on your ass and make you his little fem boy toy would your first instinct be to throw hands? Or would you laugh and then try to walk away?
What were their crimes? Being attractive women? Fucking hell, it’s disgusting that guys think they can just do that stuff. I feel bad that ImJasmine left the internet because of pieces of shit that harassed her to the point she stopped. This stuff is absolutely disgusting.
the fact that i’mjasmine girl was touched/groped/made extremely uncomfortable ON CAMERA MULTIPLE TIMES is so hard to watch. you can see and feel the distress she’s in in the clips shown. it’s terrifying. poor girl, i cant imagine the fear she must have felt. it’s almost like she knows it’s going to happen too, like it’s predictable based on her reactions. hope she’s ok :(
I know wtf! They say Japan is the most safest country, yet whats with all the sexual harassment? I live in Australia and have never been groped by a man ever, yet she gets gropes multiple times a month there. Im 100% certain its all that submissive porn they are exposed to, where women in videos dont do anything and men just grope or "grape" without consequences (even if it is just acting, people will watch is an think it applies to real life too). I watched a whole documentary on the Japanese porn industry, its so disgusting.
Not blaming her, but please don’t tell people you’re alone, especially those that you don’t know. That just makes them more confident that they can be creepy to you. Also, good on the streamers who helped!!!
@@user-zm7zl9lc6j actually it was most likely a survival tactic bc men like that can get aggressive fast, see how she said no and he told her to stfu? Chances are if she had been aggressive he would have probably assaulted her or god forbid worse. I’d say she wasn’t “too nice” but trying to control the situation in some way
yeah, scrolling through the comments other guys calling him simp is just so dumb, like having basic sympathy for another human being is seen as simping for them shows they lack it lol.
So fucking tired of the word simp being thrown around whenever any guy shows just the slightest bit of respect or admiration for a woman. Oh and god forbid you say a woman looks pretty...
The fact that police do nothing about stalkers :/ Jade would have been killed if this stalking went way to far. Also who the heck screams eggs and soda in someone’s house that you broken into? That man is definitely on crack. “Hey don’t be scared, IM A NICE GUY” -proceeds to give her vodka (probably drugged) and asks where her hotel is and is mad that she doesn’t know there names and assault her - the amount of gross men in Japan scares me and Jasmine too.
I was in a similar situation to the beach one. Me (a 15 yr old) and my 16 yr old friend were just laying on the beach and a man who seemed to be drunk or on drugs just started talking to us. He then mumbled something to his friend and started coming towards us. We both instinctively got up and went to a random group of teens and pretended to know them. That’s the best way to handle it. Other teen girls will understand and play along. Stay safe ✨
God those uncomfortable giggles from Jasmine just break my heart. You can tell how nervous and afraid she is in the moment, it blows my mind how many dudes don't understand (or maybe do, and are encouraged by) the response of laughter when a woman is uncomfortable.
Pls don't be afraid of being called a simp for being nice to people. Your community is really wholesome, and we don't welcome people being toxic and juvenile for simply being a decent human being.
Yes!! i feel so bad when a guy is doing the right thing and defending a vulnerable woman in a distressful situation, and he gets called a simp. Maybe, just maybe he's not a simp, but a good person with good intent? Don't be afraid to save a life, ever!
The ptsd that can come from a stalker is immense, I know someone who despite her stalking incident ending a decade ago she still lives in fear, things that seem inconspicuous or random to the general population suddenly becomes threatening and malevolent. Things like a pizza getting sent to your house on accident can feel like a stalker taunting you all over again.
I had a classmate following me after class for a while last year and I still am terrified to talk to any man I don't personally know. It's very upsetting and they don't even realize it
I know I’ll never be the same because of it. Many people who have never experienced it don’t understand that it is a really special kind of torture. Nothing feels safe. It feels like the only safe thing is to isolate yourself from all of the world, and if you try to come back out into the world it’ll just start again. I mostly never leave my house, I have one friend and my husband. I can’t participate in social media.
i love that the fact that these people can "comprehend" whats happening, versus just shoving people away like tuv says. Like each party should be safe, but at the same time, its wholesome to go to a different party and ask for help. And how, he asked if he knew them. And everyone says no means youre bringing it to attention.
as a female who wants to stream, this is the #1 thing stopping me. i have an irrational fear of stalkers and stalkers at my house, ive always had nightmares about it and just hearing these poor womem go thru this is disgusting :(( hopefully something changes to make the platform safe in the future
Gotta say, its good to see the videos where they actually immediately take action and prevent someone from being stalked. It sucks that it has to even happen but Im glad there are people out there so willing to help in a bad situation. 18:35 They all react so fast once they know whats happening. The girl that pulls her in and starts dancing around with her to pretend theyre friends is such a blessing 😭
Back when I was bartending, a couple of customers that were watching a story on the news about a sex worker who was s*xually assaulted. They were laughing and actually had the nerve to ask how it was possible to r*pe anyone in that line of work. Being the evil witch that I am, I said, "Probably the same way you rob a philanthropist." For some weird reason, they didn't seem to like the answer I gave them.
@@FishyExists this makes no sense 😆 fuck 12 specifically means f the drug enforcement officers, the ones who deal with taking care of people who deal with people dealing hard drugs. They have nothing to do with restraining orders, dv, etc they just deal with drugs
Not only that, but if you notice something, a good portion of these take place in Japan. Where almost nothing is done to stop sexual harassment, they literally have women only trains since groping is so common and not much is done. Not to mention police are of no help in those situations. Its fucking terrible SA wise in japan
As a female who's been stalked and had to do the 'oh they're my friend!' thing it's fucking TERRIFYING. My heart goes out to those girls, I hope they're ok!
when my friend and i were 13 she was stalked and harrassed (verbally and physically) by her ex boyfriend a year older than us. but it was "her fault" for going out with someone so violent in the first place. when i was 16 i was stalked by a guy who had a crush on me, but "he's shy and thats his way of showing affection". idk who you are or what youve done, but being stalked is not on you and its a terrifying and dangerous scenario that needs to be taken more seriously.
Its even worse that those dudes messing with jasmine would be doing it ON CAMERA like thats so weird like imagining my little sisters or my mom dealing with something like that is so concerning
im actually crying at how dangerous this world can be for women. im continuing to watch this and i literally broke out into tears because if thats australian livestreamer wasn't there i don;t know how that woman would have been able to escape and the fact that she was stalked for 2 days prior just absolutely breaks my heart
Don't cry, fight like hell!!! You seen the dude after someone sent a scream app, she was capable of making that noise herself. Keys between fingers with sharp point sticking out ready to smash into anyone who tries to grab you, keep your head up and be aware of your surroundings, scream blue murder and never let them take you to a 2nd location. Not one bit of me is victim blaming, just advice on self defence to hopefully stop women becoming victims in the future✌🏽❤️🏴
@Flare we do have a proof you could be or already are, you are just delusional if you think saying shit like that out loud is "normal" to other people 💀
It's so depressing that people have to go through this. Especially how they're just trying to live a normal fucking life. I feel so bad for them. They shouldn't have to do go through this. I'm sorry for all of them.
Agree. I don't understand how people just want to stalk some random girl streaming for fun, they can go out of their way to find the streamers address, but not go out of their way to become a decent human being, its disgusting
I wouldn't be surprised if there are idiots saying the streamers are in the wrong 'cuz they're potentially putting the perpetrators at risk of being harassed due to their faces being seen. 🥴
It's one of the dumbest arguments too, it ain't anyone's fault but theirs they lose self control the moment they see cleavage. Most people have self restraint, even in beaches where there's half-naked people everywhere. There's no excuse.
Everyone’s speaking of Jasmine and I understand it’s bad what she went through but the first girl’s story broke my heart. She had food delivered, and was lied to about her father being KILLED. HER FATHER!! I can’t imagine how terrified she must have felt.
I found that situation to be far more dangerous and for the first girl to have far less control over her situation....she should definately finish streaming online, as much as it would pain her to do so. You do not give anyone an "in" here to You, the person.
This happens to women alllll the time, just average ladies. Its good to see it being caught on camera so more people realise how scary it is to be a girl sometimes
Yeah a lot of us guys (and of course men can be stalked too, but you know what I mean) just aren't aware of stuff like stalking or sexual assault being so prevalent and that leads a lot of men to assume that women are being rude when they're just trying to stay safe All the guys who go "wow women only like assholes" are probably the type to stare at a woman's tits when they're at the gym and wonder why she gets creeped out
As a father bear, I take active involvement in progressive discussions with my teenage daughter about things like consent and assertion. You're not as helpless in those situations as you may believe, and men like that are easily intimidated, ESPECIALLY by women. Take agency and initiative, and develop tactics to make THEM afraid and handle them like no-ones business.
Okay so this will sound dumb but back in the day I had a popular tumblr. This girl wanted to be my friend after being my follower for a while so I was like, cool, let’s talk. Everything seemed normal at first but she got more and more unhinged over time… Eventually she was mad that I was talking to other people on my tumblr then threw in comments like her carrying our children?? I played it off as a joke cause I didn’t understand why she’d think we had anything between us… Then she got hella aggressive and eventually sent me a photo of her with my name carved into her chest. This was almost a decade ago and I still randomly think about the fact that there’s someone out there with my name scarred on her chest. I hope she’s okay, even though she was big crazy.
@allen yeahhh I was a teen at the time too so I didn’t really know what to do beyond just blocking her and trying to forget about it. Obviously I never did though and it took like 6 months of constantly worrying about her to get to where I could just move on. She threatened committing (not living) if I ever “left” her, so I was so worried I killed her in some way.
@@sdjfsandx it was pretty awful - mostly because I blamed myself for it at the time. Like, I didn’t actually do anything of course and I know that now as an adult but back then I thought maybe I did something to make her feel that she had to prove herself in such an extreme way. Then after I stopped talking to her I was really worried for her safety but I didn’t know how to check in on her without starting the cycle of obsession over again. I’m a pretty forgiving and empathetic person so I didn’t and still don’t hold any bad feelings against her… I just worry for her well-being. I hope that if she’s still alive that she’s okay and this didn’t happen to anyone else.
Getting followers so attached to you that they stalk your every online move is one of my biggest fears. It's something I wouldn't wish on anyone, no one deserves an obsessive person following you. Keep safe everyone.
Being a woman is genuinely scary especially on the internet. To other woman who may read this please NEVER EVER tell someone you’re alone/live alone. When you go home say hello like there is someone in the house, even if there is not.
Also please carry a weapon with you like pepper spray or a taser, even a dog. Don’t be afraid to use it. These people need to be punished and police never seem to take women seriously
It's sad seeing that jasmine had to quit streaming it seemed she had a bright personality, but these disgusting people make it hard for her to enjoy her well-being. This is to all the people who have been stalked
I was stalked by a woman. It’s scary. It’s weird to be thankful for this but I’m a real estate developer so I have a lot of addresses tied to my name. She went to several of them then found my personal address. She legit tried to kidnap my son. His dad was there picking him up so her timing was very bad. Even through this and other situations I had to jump through hoops for a restraining order. It was crazy.
I’ve had to essentially remove myself from any meaningful social media presence (like, just having social media to keep up with friends and family) due to multiple instances of stalking/black mail/revenge p0rn from 14 to 22 years old 🥲 it ruined my life and education at certain times, and caused severe anxiety/trauma for me. I’m 27 now and still very scared of the “outside world”, and there’s always this impending sense that it could start again/something worse/unknown repercussions are waiting just around the corner. I recently thought maybe I could put myself back out there on the internet cause I’m honestly very lonely. This video definitely reminds me that maybe I don’t need to put myself through that…
As a girl myself it’s so sick to me how men think they are entitled to a woman’s time or love. How fucking messed up do you have to be to think that stalking a girl or harassing her is going to get her to love you or give you attention. Stay safe ladies, it’s best to know some defense moves or strategies. 👏 And props to the guys who are actually sane and help women in these situations, a lot of the time creepy men don’t stop until another man steps in.
Great video, it really hurts watching those women go thru that. I just wanted to add that not all stalkers look like some over/underweight sweaty virgin lol some are actually attractive which imo makes them even more dangerous since we typically have a stereotypical view of what stalkers are supposed to look like
I can’t imagine how much stress they ad in these type of situation. I can recognize the nervous laugh she had every time she felt uncomfortable. I had a strange stalker who his fetish is veterinary girl and even tho I didn’t get that much of harassment I still get so scared
I agree that if a woman walks up to you pretending to know you, you should play along. HOWEVER Be very careful about following her anywhere/if she’s trying to get you to leave your group. Very popular method to getting people robbed/killed.
it sucks how much people downplay how creepy some dudes can be to women and how many women have to deal with this day to day. I think the majority of women have had at least one creepy encounter with a man. I've had 3 irl encounters and multiple online encounters to the point where I just keep my face offline, I'm so thankful that it generally just ended at creepy words and online harassment. My heart goes out to these girls who have to face this because they wanna make money doing what they love. Whether it be cooking, gaming, or just talking with chat. It's not right, and every day people downplay how dangerous it can get. I hope they're okay.
Absolutely. My defense mechanism is “f off” and they’re always like “ooooh you’re cold.” Perfect so leave me alone. It *usually* works. If any dude starts following me I just immediately start dialing 911 and they walk off at that point. Never escalated beyond that thank god.
i remember when this random dude followed me with his car and asked for my snap (we were right next to my house, and according to him hes 'seen you entering that house, so i know that ones yours') so in fear i gave him my snap, he used to text me saying stuff like "i saw you at -grocery store, i loved your outfit" so i started to igbore him but not block (cause he knew where i lived) and i was still in school at that time so i had a routine in the morning and he caught onto it and started parking down the street when id wait at the bus stop, i blocked him, and received a note demanding i unblock him, i finally told my mum bc i just couldnt handle it anymore, she went to the police and they only gave him a warning i still tense up when i see a yellow buggie car and its been 2 years
Finally a man who gets it! A lot of Men always blame us for this stuff happening its such a breath of fresh air to hear a man say this is wrong and creepy and how this happens to us just for existing as women cause some men just don't know how to act.
I was stalked by another student in law school. He moved into my building and kept waiting outside my door for sometimes hours at a time. It was horrifying. I can't imagine what it would feel for some of these women, especially Jasmine being all alone in Japan. My heart hurts.
Stalkers are so scary man, I was stalked in a walmart once it was this guy who wouldn't stop staring and following me and everything I touched he would touch it as well and just keep following me, so I went in the restroom and stayed in there for a good 10 minutes but he was gone when I came out of the restroom , made me scared for my life
Quite possibly the scariest thing about creeps is more often than not you can’t tell they’re a creep until it’s too late. Many of them look so disturbingly normal.
That pisses me off just because someone shows their body off online doesn’t mean it’s an open invitation to stalk. That’s like saying “oh this girl was wearing something provocative so I SAed her” like that shit needs to stop there’s something wrong with our world low key
I feel saddened at the Jasmine case as from what I’ve gathered from multiple Japanese content creators (best example is Shogo your Japanese friend), is that this type of sexual harassment is extremely common in Japan especially on trains, the culture of Japan is so interesting to me but that’s one big downside
W tuv thank you for explaining that just because u show your body doesn't mean their "asking for it" its absolutely insane how many women and men have to go through this if u ever had an experience like this, I hope your better now and never have to go through it again
Ugh got that experience in japan so many times from following to touching in the train…last was when I went to shopping really early morning…I had like ten minutes till it opened so I sit on the nearest bench…some random guy just stood in front of me and started pleasuring himself…As sooon as I realized what he is doing I just ran away…
this is the first time I've felt genuinely creeped out and scared in a video... I couldn't imagine being any of these girls and dealing with that stuff..
@@Beatlefan333 surprisingly here in Japan it’s actually the country with the most sexual harassment and no one does anything about it, not even the people around you, it’s sad and we’re working on getting better at preventing this, but the majority of Japanese men do actually believe it is okay to take advantage of women, they get no consequences after all.
I had the same situation happen when my wife and I were with some friends at a concert in Cleveland. A girl came up to us because she was being followed by someone who had some pretty bad history with her, so we stayed with her until her group of friends showed up. Whenever that happens, play along everybody.
I’ve thought about streaming live on twitch being a musician and wanting to get my music out there, but these stories honestly keep me away. It’s so scary.
and its so sad that she cant just be like" go away" because you never know how crazy a person can be. Then becasuse you are nice, they think its working and do it even more.
I used to live in Osaka, and unfortunately this happened quite a lot. Sometimes with locals, and sometimes with other forginers who think because they are away from home they can get away with anything. I believe the beach she was on was the popular Shirarahama beach which I used to visit often with friends, and harassment from men skyrocketed tenfold.
Something like this happened to my favorite Overwatch streamer last year too. It was actually one of the mods from his own chat who started acting super weird about him…giving him huge donos (thousands of dollars), and ended up getting his address from a secret Santa thing that was going on in the community. She was convinced that they should be together. He got weirded out by this and ended up calling her out with hella receipts of her creepy behavior on the Discord server. She was de-modded and shunned from that particular community…but she is still an integral member of other communities which I find really weird. I swear, people are so fucking strange when it comes to streamers, like…leave these people alone, jfc.
i've wanted to stream since i was a teenager.. but doing anything like that online gives me anxiety now and i can't help but imagine the inevitable creeps, stalkers, doxxers and overall shitheads just trying to ruin your life for no reason...
Sadly it's that feeling they get that they have that kind of I can't think of the word but feeling like they're just anonymous and can get away with it. It's scary and I can't blame your fears that there are people who do that purely to watch the world burn
It's disgusting that the first girl was almost exploited into showing herself to some creep on stream with the false threat of killing her dad if she didn't do it. That's showing me that there are so many creeps in this world, it's terrible

For anyone who’s traveling alone, NEVER SAY YOU ARE ALONE. She probably just said the truth cause she was scared or nervous. But you should ALWAYS lie! Make them think people are near you or expecting you. Its also good to know the locations of any police stations in the city/town you’re in. please remember this now that you know, tho. it's a tactic many women use when they are desperate.
Women being sexually harassed is so common there especially foreign ones which makes it even more disgusting.
additional reason for witnesses (bystanders etc.) not helping the victim is the shame-centered culture. all social interactions are very structured, minimal in outward expression and either black or white. the community is above any individual, opposite to e.g. USA.
yeah like people keep saying "Japan is such a safe country" as if things like in this video aren't disturbingly common 💀 it's not safe if you're a woman
They need to have policemen patrolling everywhere at night
Being a woman anywhere seems terrifying. Daniel Ciely (idk how to spell his last name) is probably the most obvious example.

@@_Kuma_ sorry you had to go through that.
@@spaceace9103 It’s all good. Thank you though!
Dang thats pretty traumatizing :(
@@sdjfsandx it was pretty awful - mostly because I blamed myself for it at the time.
🙄
Being a woman is genuinely scary especially on the internet. To other woman who may read this please NEVER EVER tell someone you’re alone/live alone. When you go home say hello like there is someone in the house, even if there is not.
Also please carry a weapon with you like pepper spray or a taser, even a dog. Don’t be afraid to use it. These people need to be punished and police never seem to take women seriously
Tuv always releases when i need him most
Excellent out of context comment
Edit: I'm kinda sorry for ruining your comment
People really need to bring more attention to things like this.
Props to the men and people who recognise the stalking and help the women.
@Eman Egnarts no one said all men but it’s definitely mostly men stop deflecting and recognize the issue.
@Eman Egnarts Oh your the NOT ALL MEN guy
@Eman Egnarts she isn’t mad at all. She is saying calmly facts and please stop making us men look bad thanks
@Eman Egnarts not all men, but enough men.
HOWEVER
Be very careful about following her anywhere/if she’s trying to get you to leave your group.
Never escalated beyond that thank god.
i remember when this random dude followed me with his car and asked for my snap (we were right next to my house, and according to him hes 'seen you entering that house, so i know that ones yours') so in fear i gave him my snap, he used to text me saying stuff like "i saw you at -grocery store, i loved your outfit" so i started to igbore him but not block (cause he knew where i lived) and i was still in school at that time so i had a routine in the morning and he caught onto it and started parking down the street when id wait at the bus stop, i blocked him, and received a note demanding i unblock him, i finally told my mum bc i just couldnt handle it anymore, she went to the police and they only gave him a warning
i still tense up when i see a yellow buggie car and its been 2 years
Finally a man who gets it! A lot of Men always blame us for this stuff happening its such a breath of fresh air to hear a man say this is wrong and creepy and how this happens to us just for existing as women cause some men just don't know how to act.
Coom brained slaves
Even though it's a school day, it's always a good one when tuv posts, Let alone a 30m video.
I was stalked by another student in law school. He moved into my building and kept waiting outside my door for sometimes hours at a time. It was horrifying. I can't imagine what it would feel for some of these women, especially Jasmine being all alone in Japan. My heart hurts.
You’d think a guy in LAW school would realize what he’s doing is wrong, but I guess not.
Hope you’re doing better smile
Stalkers are so scary man, I was stalked in a walmart once it was this guy who wouldn't stop staring and following me and everything I touched he would touch it as well and just keep following me, so I went in the restroom and stayed in there for a good 10 minutes but he was gone when I came out of the restroom , made me scared for my life
"I'm a viewer first and then a TH-camr"- and that right there is why we love you and why your channel has rightfully blown up. ❤️💛🧡💚💙💜👩🏾🎤
actually if a random woman comes up to you because she's being stalked, still be careful because you could get trafficked
True, it's like helping a hitchhiker, you wanna do the right thing but it can sometimes be a trap.
when it doubt offer to call the cops for them. If its a trafficker they will probably deny or leave.
Yeah if you go somewhere with them. Stay in a public space and offer to get help or an Uber.
Fr
Yeah its like when someone gets r worded they are like "wHaT wErE u WeArInG?" Or "ThEy WeRe AsKiNg FoR iT" like cmon
I'm so glad these streamers helped out these women who were being harassed.
I couldn't imagine being any of these girls and dealing with that stuff..
what I learned from this is never go to Japan alone if you are a woman, b/c the men there are creepy and don't know personal boundaries
Wow good job generalizing an entire nations male population, these women would feel much safer in the West where that never happens apparently
@@Beatlefan333 Japan rape cases are increasing day by day
@@horseconfused japanese person confesses japan's massive problem to someone who thinks japan is perfect because they "made" anime: the comment
@@Beatlefan333 Sexual harassment happens to women everywhere, babe. Even in the West. “Not all men” but way too many.
I had the same situation happen when my wife and I were with some friends at a concert in Cleveland. A girl came up to us because she was being followed by someone who had some pretty bad history with her, so we stayed with her until her group of friends showed up. Whenever that happens, play along everybody.
Having the thought of someone stalking me is actually terrifying
as a victim of stalking, thank you for speaking up on this. it is terrifying what these female influencers have to go through.
@paulthorpee did you not watch the video 🙄
I’ve thought about streaming live on twitch being a musician and wanting to get my music out there, but these stories honestly keep me away. It’s so scary.
and its so sad that she cant just be like" go away" because you never know how crazy a person can be. Then becasuse you are nice, they think its working and do it even more.
I absolutely love how the chat played that scream those people had her back.
I like how Tuv’s personality is shining more in his videos
I used to live in Osaka, and unfortunately this happened quite a lot. Sometimes with locals, and sometimes with other forginers who think because they are away from home they can get away with anything. I believe the beach she was on was the popular Shirarahama beach which I used to visit often with friends, and harassment from men skyrocketed tenfold.
It’s crazy there’s sick ppl that go to the extent of selling their whole life to stalk someone from online. Let alone stalking period.
When a 30 minute video from tuv drops so you can eat in peace knowing you will have enough time to eat without having to find another video
i've wanted to stream since i was a teenager.. but doing anything like that online gives me anxiety now and i can't help but imagine the inevitable creeps, stalkers, doxxers and overall shitheads just trying to ruin your life for no reason...
