As someone who is in a serious, healthy relationship: hearing about multiple people getting stabbed or killed in another horrific way by their partners absolutely disgusts me. The other night my partner and I had a disagreement and I felt terrible that I unintentionally hurt him emotionally. I couldn’t imagine hurting him on purpose, he’s someone I want to love and protect from pain. These women did not love the people they hurt or killed. They saw them as possessions rather than partners.

@@ibraheemesam3145 i kinda do agree but sometimes people have no choice if their salaries are really low, like i've heard of nurses and firefighters resorting to onlyfans as a side job to gain more money since they get paid so badly.
if it's not for emergency financial reasons, i agree it's kinda disgusting and those people would be disrespecting themselves by doing that, as well as taking advantage of people who can't control themselves, so yeah i see the emotional disconnect thing you're on about.
then again, it's all their choice and they should be allowed to do what they want as long as it isn't hurting anyone. sex work shouldn't be your first choice of job because of the abuse inside the industry and so many things wrong with it, but again, it's their lives and it's up to them if they want their reputation damaged or if they want to put themselves in danger.

The stigma around it is so bad that it just makes it harder to keep workers who are involved to any degree safe because governments refuse to put in sensible laws and drive it to the fringes where real creeps and criminals lurk which further enforces the idea that those are the only type of people that sex workers attract when in fact the majority of people who visit OF, Twitter pages, sub Reddits or IRL workers are just your totally average person.

The female would scream at her daughter and tell her she’s a bitch, she wants to get rid of her, she wishes she never had her. Interesting fact: a lot of people in the black community think Toby’s murder wasn’t important because Toby would allegedly degrade and demean black women in favor for white women. So when he was murdered by the “women” he uplifted, people in the black community shrugged their shoulders in a “that’s what you get” sort of way.
I’ve seen so many tweets about this. It’s easy to find if anyone is interested in looking through them.

As a black person sounds very accurate, It’s sad I’m not surprised, but they most likely seen him as a race traitor, the fact he was putting down black women knowing his own mom is black doesn’t end well in the black community. It’s seen very disrespectful especially to older black people. Especially if you’re putting a white woman on a pedestal. Not saying it’s right but giving more information.
A lot of older black people (mainly women) will shrug at a black man with a white woman goes far back to slavery days, when white women use to accuse black men of doing stuff they didn’t do and the results were black men getting lynched.

i think we can encourage individual sex work like only fans while also being able to recognize the exploitation in the industry. when someone is doing sex work, they need to be in full control of their work. industries regulate, overwork and exploit and there's an obvious discrepancy. not to mention the terrible stigma. sex work can be normalized but it really has to be specific. they deserve power and protection over their work, not some icky corporation to own it for them

Very well said, Harper! I also think that since sex workers often deal with stalking and all that jazz, they should install a security system in their house and practice self-defense tactics, such as karate and kick boxing, maybe even carry a can of pepper spray if they have to. From what I've seen, women are often vulnerable when alone, but this also applies to any vulnerable adult for that matter, including young men like myself.

If males didn't spend vast amounts of money on OF, exotic dancers and other types of sex workers, then the industry will shrink, and it wouldn't be such an attractive job for women.*
