      I ride city buses...happens all the time. I don't even ask people how they are anymore. One time a lady asked a young mum how old her baby was. That's it, one question and she answered "This one is 6 months, I have another but he got taken away. He has chronic sinus infections, that means he can blow and blow and blow his nose and snot always comes out." That poor lady will never again ask someone how old their baby is.

      I mean it’s not that hard as long as the companies recognize that all those employees won’t be there long term. There is no reason to pay them more because then how do you justify a 10k salary difference of a floor employee and a corporate finance entry position or HR or entry IT person. They have little to no experience but have a credited education that should set them up to bring value to the business. Floor employees should be motivated in ways other than money because if they are not, how do you motivate people to develop in the careers? It is too comfortable and will distrust the corp structure

As that employee I have seen 2 businesses close when I left my position as there was no good trainer at the job anymore. A low hanging fruit is improving the training and operational processes for these employees in a way that is fast, easy to understand and replicate.

    Hey! Wouldn't it be cool if all CEOs would pay fair wages to everyone in America instead of rewarding a single employee, which I guarantee didn't cost the CEO a damn penny. All the CEOs on this show probably made more money through the TV production and tax cuts than they gave away. Especially the TV producers, i guarantee they hired investigators for employees to see if they were in debt, sick family, etc.
    Our country is broken.

    It’s strange, the name of the show is called “UNDERCOVER BOSS” yet there’s a camera or cameras in your face and following you and the worker(s) around the work place. HOW IS IT UNDERCOVER??

TH-cam has hardly any episodes, hulu has none, Netflix has none, There's no dvd's that I can find anywhere in store or online. Even prime doesn't have it.

    Does anyone else think that sometimes the employees know this is their actual boss and just play along and give a sob story in hopes of receiving money?
    I believe in treating your employees with respect and being there for them, but I don't think they need to receive thousands of dollars for just simply doing what they are paid to do.
    I'm not a boss...I'm just a regular employee who has been working for over 42 years now.

    • @BurntMike26
      @BurntMike26 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Undercover Boss is just PR for the companies in question. I would not be surprised to learn that it's all a setup. That said, they DO know they are on camera and will always put on a 'show' as a result. You don't really see the 'real' person like you would if there were no cameras.
      "I don't think they need to receive thousands of dollars for just simply doing what they are paid to do" is the most boomer take on this whole thing I've ever seen. Clearly on top of the PR moves these owners/CEOs feel that these people deserve the money. Please remove your head from your ass and realize that it doesn't have to be about earning the money, sometimes people just want to be generous. I'm sorry nobody was ever that generous toward you.
