I’m Australian and I only found out that ‘How (are) you going?’ was Aussie slang when my American housemate responded with, ‘What do you mean? I just got home’ 😂 We were both English teachers in Japan at the time.
The original phase in English is "how are things going". But overtime it got changed in other countries to become: - How's things (USA) - How's it going (in South Africa its just "how's it") - How you going (Australia) - etc
"How you going" definitely not a common phrase definitely an Aussie thing😂😂😂
I'm not Australian, and I actually never knew about the phrase "How you going?" until this stand-up.
Surprised ahaha

That quick math count killed me 😂😂😂😂
I think the Aussie "How you going?" is like the American "How ya doing?"
That kangaroo part was hilarious😂😂
Everyone has stereotype about the kangaroos in Australia.
Yep 😂
Lol, in America, we ask, "How are you doing?"
Your quick Maths 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I must say that was a every quick calculating... Lol
How are you going isn’t a common phrase 😅😅😅
Yeah its usually
How are you doing
As an American in India, no, "How you going?" isn't typical. We say "How you doing?' or "How are you?"
As an Asian, I'm going to try getting through immigration like that every time from now onward.
In south africa we'd usually say "how's it going"
Howzit 😉
In the States we say "How are you doing or How's it going?" I've never heard Hie are you going.
In South Africa, we say Howzit going or just Howzit. Neve heard of how you going.
Zulu's normally say: kuhamba kanjani which roughly translates to hwzit going... lol close enough
I enjoyed it 😂💗👍
I’m glad mate 😃
In south africa we say "Howzit"
Love this one ❤️🔥

Rest of the world says How are you doing, not How are you going! That's uniquely Aussie
Nah, Jamaica says "wah gwan?"
08:06 the rest of the english speaking world population says "How are you doing" in one variant or the other.
Not true. ‘How’s it going’ is used in America all the time.
