Just escaped a calm dark with 4 seconds left. First room killed my 4 hobs. A nail biter for sure. Damage was not an issue, but I did have to ignore the last cache just to gate and survive. A webber was essential to not losing the ship. Did have to drop the 5:07 battery tho.Thanks for the vid! o7
Assault frigates are awesome, let me show you their unique features! First, there's this MWD signature penalty reduction. GREAT! We're not using a MWD though. Then, there is this sweet assault damage control. WOW PANIC BUTTON! Not using that either.
You know the Jag has a drone bay, Captain? Those drones can add some dps to the Jag's otherwise meagre rocket dps on cruisers and up. Also, one could use the Jag's high EM resists in electrical abyssals where you could use the extra cap recharge to drop a cap battery for something else.

I'm curious about deadspaces or annomolies though, do you have a video where you talk about the basics of these? and maybe some of the other solo pve content for small ship pilots? Also why do you loot the cache first? It doesn't seem like a threat.
I've got a whole playlist about Abyssal Deadspaces on my channel! As for going for the Cache, it's a speed thing. I usually take it out to loot it so I can now fly around and engage enemies without feeling like I'm flying away from the cache. Its just preference.
As i have high light missile skills, i may actually take this for t1 abyss with missiles As an alternative of the retribution, what i am still training for
I could be wrong, but I am 90% sure that nosfataru is not doing you any justice as I am sure they do not leech cap off of NPC's.........I do believe that those are PvP utilities only. Again, I could be wrong about that.
100% they can leech, you can just never DRAIN an NPC. It refills your capacitor (if the circumstances are right for the Nos to work) but their capacitor never changes

Yes, if they have a scram, but it allows YOU to get into Scram range quickly to hold them in place. You being scrammed isn't a huge issue as you won't be speed tanking your prey anyway - you're killing frigates and you're tanky as heck with good DPS.
What do you mean by DPS tanking? The incoming DPS does not reduce based on how many ships you engage. You're just tanking. How does engaging four out of the eight enemies reduce the damage by half? Do you mean after you kill them? That doesn't make sense.
You misunderstood what I said. 8 enemies doing 100 DPS each = 800 DPS incoming. 4 enemies doing 100 DPS each = 400 DPS If your tank can handle 410 DPS, then you're going to be dying with 8 enemies, but will stabilise and start to actually repair when there's only 4. DPS tanking is basically "Kill them before you die"

Good tip! I've not had any issues personally, but this fit is used both for Abyssals and J-Space ratting. Tweaking is always a good idea!

Yes you can - I use this fot for Darks and J-Space ratting. Absolutely you can refit for Electricals!
