Finally figured out what the arcade/laser tag section is - one of the time regression bits. They're being thrown back into an earlier time in their life. Maybe a happy memory of a entertainment center.

That’s what I think the fireworks segment in 7c is too. That basketball-sounding section in 7a sounds like one of those time regression segments as well (at least that’s how it makes me feel).

Every sound i hear in this album reminds me of sounds i would hear in my grandparents house. The muffled radio, the loud washing machine, the random eerie sounds at night. Its so familiar and yet terrifying

Year 6. The release date is August 29th, 2022. Two years remaining. After listening to this album for a second time, this is what I jolted down:
    O1:
0:02 - The groans from the previous year now sounds like crying. The patient wants this to end. Wants the pain to end, but this is only the beginning.
0:15 - Now the bumpers have gotten to the point where you can’t even make out what it is trying to say.
0:37 - Succinct and to the point. Ok, gotcha.
0:51 - I only wish to keep this in mind because it just sounds familiar to me, and yet it doesn’t.
2:17 - It sounds like a groan. Well, not really.
4:15 - What exactly was that sudden noise? I honestly have no idea.
4:35 - Something tells me that this is supposed to be Gaucho. Not sure, actually.
5:57 - I don’t know why, but I think I hear what sounds like…laser tag? Never expected this part.
8:13 - Well THAT just came out of nowhere! You sure love picking your moments, NATMOS:R!
8:39 - Don’t ask me how, but I think I heard E3 in this timeframe.
9:06 - Back in Black, YES I’M BACK IN BLAAAAACK (Or at least that what I think that was)
    11:21 - Drowning the chaos with drones…
11:41 - And yet, the corruption continues to spread all over the mind…
    O2
11:51 - A very obvious E5 along with Pink Floyd’s Echoes to start off O2.
13:41 - Some kind of beat is played here.
14:47 - The beat reminds me of…wait, what does it remind me of?
15:24 - What could this be?
15:56 - “The fog will persist across the area through the afternoon. The fog will once again become widespread tonight…Changing with locally dense fog possible. Motorists are advised to drive…rapidly changing…” That’s what I was able to catch from that brief bumper. I am certain that I didn’t get all of it, though.
16:18 - Though I am not certain of it, this sounds similar to A5. To an extent.
20:20 - A calm drone to ease the pain slightly…but it doesn’t last for long.
21:01 - Some conversation is heard, though I do not know what it is saying.
    P1
21:27 - And I’m Back in Black, YES I’M BACK IN BLAAAAACK (again)
21:42 - The trumpet that seems familiar, yet it doesn’t.
23:48 - A drone into another part. Whatever that might be, yeah?
25:40 - It’s only a Paper Moon, my dear. And Earl Klugh’s here to play his Solo Guitar. Though, I might be hearing things…
27:09 - Some noise in the left ear.
29:01 - A drone to end off P1. Or at least this is where it starts.
    P2
30:14 - ADIP? Maybe some variant of it, who knows?
    31:51 - What was that?
32:00 - Again, NATMOS:R sure loves picking its moments to catch me off guard.
32:59 - Is that (D2/I8) I hear? The patient really wants to hold onto this memory, huh?
33:23 - There are vocals here that are very alien in nature.
    P3
    34:28 - A slight bit of (D2/I8)
    35:24 - Again.
36:50 - And again. If I end up hearing this sample in Year 7 and 8, would I be surprised? Maybe.
42:38 - More bits and pieces of I8. Who would’ve guessed lol
    Q1
43:56 - “The office of Civil Defense has issued the following message: this is an Attack Warning. Repeat. This is an Attack Warning.” Yeah, this should’ve been issued long ago, but it’s too late now.
    44:33 - Well that was…sudden.
44:37 - And with that, all Hell breaks loose.
45:55 - A brief broadcast in the right ear.
46:43 - I now have realized: the artwork looks like a radio signal tower, yet my mind wants to call it a water tower. Why?!
    47:22 - (Whistle noises)
47:48 - Some more (D2/I8). Because we can’t get enough of it, can we?
    48:38 - (Computer noises)
49:13 - A new form of Hell awaits the patient…
51:40 - This sounds like our patient is trying to remember the fun he had playing at an arcade when he was younger. I wonder what samples this bit..
54:32 - A new sample comes in and the arcade memory begins to die down. Or at least that where I think it starts.
58:28 - Panning from left to right, left to right…
1:00:15 - Keeping this here, just in case.
1:06:15 - I assume that this is where Q1 begins to die down, leading into R1.
1:06:39 - A coherent percussion sample. But what is it?
    1:07:22 - Full on shutdown.
    R1
    1:08:51 - (Teleportation noises)
1:09:23 - A coherent sample is heard, but I’ll be damned if I can try to identify it.
1:12:10 - Something on the left is heard.
    1:14:50 - “And we’ll likely enjoy every minute…”
    1:16:46 - More minutes.
1:17:41 - I know that this has been played for a few minutes now, but this is meant to be H4. Or the other half to I5.
1:19:13 - I could’ve sworn I heard someone talking. I’m really starting to lose it.
1:19:43 - A new sample now…and this turns out to be
1:21:48 - A scrambled mess of children’s voices. It is here that our patient has lost the ability to talk, or I’m simply misinterpreting this. Or it could be that he’s trying to remember the friends he saw once when he was younger and never saw again? I’m reading too much into this bit.
1:22:51 - I can’t unhear (D2/I8) in this section, though it might not be what is being played here. It sounds more like an Ice Cream Truck.
1:23:52 - More glimpses of voices.
1:24:13 - More of the scrambled voices. While the first part of the voices sounded like Ness, this one just sounds like Kirby. The pink thing.
1:25:21 - Even in this state, Cirrus Minor sounds very…peaceful.
1:25:52 - Some droning to conclude Year 6 altogether.
1:29:20 - Something played under those drones, but I’m not sure what.
Like Year 5, this is very well crafted. I honestly think that the artwork works very well with the cacophony of bumpers and samples, though I’m not sure what the constellations up in the sky mean. However, I am excited to listen to Year Seven and see how hectic and chaotic it will be. I’ll see you then.

    Track descriptions:
O1: The patient has begun to show much severer signs of neural decay. The patient also seems to be surprisingly overwhelmed, as if the patient sees the void, and is slowly entering it.
O2: Sundowning is becoming more clear, as the patient can barely recognize what is happening amongst all the chaos. The patient has many sleepless nights, thinking it’s day, when everybody has gone home and is sleeping.the patient begins to decline drastically here.
P1: Neural decay has become most relevant here. The patient continues to be overwhelmed, although everything is still crashing down. Relatives attempt to speak, although all the patient does is talk with slurred speech. Sleepless nights continue.
P2: The patient’s decay begins to fluctuate, as at times the patient does not seem as confused on what is going on, but will slowly go back into a state of total delirium.
P3: The last strings of hope begin to be cut off, as the decline continues. Confusions and delirium continue to become more relevant, as time begins to slowly break about, being ripped away from the patient.
Q1: Everything begins to fall apart. Neural decay begins to show that the patient has been decaying since the early 2000’s.
Clarity: a sudden jump to awareness has been made, and the patient’s mind seems almost childlike. The patient can recognize people, although we are afraid this state of complete awareness will eventually end in a few days. The patient’s relatives might want to enjoy this awareness while it lasts.
R1: The patient has begun to show fewer signs of delirium, and has fallen back into complete confusion. We think this might be the patient slowly fading back into a thick fog. Complete understanding will not be recognizable until post-Mortem.

Notable Moments (Likely incomplete, feel free to comment more stuff!)
0:00 - Fading into Opening Transmission.
2:57 - A panning drone floats by. [datravel the traveller]
8:12 - Mechanical sounds and other harsh noise (and voices?). Also likely reappears in P1. [datravel the traveller]
11:20 - Some notes drown out all other noise at the end of O1.
11:50 - E5 & the sonar from "Echoes" by Pink Floyd. [datravel the traveller]
14:47 - Sounds like footsteps frantically running on metal. Some drone-like thing plays barely coherently. Also has Alber to Balsam by Aphex Twin in there as well. [DARKBLADE OSCURO]
15:56 - Brief broadcasting on the right channel.
20:18 - A brief moment of calm as O-side concludes.
    21:35 - Game & Watch sounds?
    25:59 - Funky sax.
26:30 - Three piano notes in succession are very clear. Mostly on the right channel.
28:41 - Transition from P1 into P2 and the first section sounding somewhat coherent?
29:19 - Audibly out of place note. [lacunaeReversed]
31:54 - An abrupt transition within "P2 - Fluctuating State." Who would've guessed? [datravel the traveller]
33:23 - Transition into the persistent drones of "P3 - Hope."
35:24, 35:35, & 36:50 - I8 emerges from the drones alongside a couple moments of a relative clarity, respectively. [Platypus Records]
42:38 - As the drones clear at the end of P-side, I8 (the music box sound that's been present for a while) can be more easily heard. [BahnDaten]
43:56 - Q1 Transmission: "REPEAT, THIS IS (AN) ATTACK WARNING."
48:38 - An alarming beep (maybe the kind that computers emit when booting up). [datravel the traveller]
51:52 - Q1 plays some laser tag for 4 or so minutes.
51:58? - The recording of the mating call of the last Kauai 'O'o (a bird that went extinct in 1987) is here amidst the lasers. It can notably be possibly identified as the soft screech at 52:03. (I'm not sure where this bird is, but it's certainly somewhere in Year 6.)
54:33 - Some sort of organ plays intermittently. [datravel the traveller]
57:02 - Scattered voices from all over. Likely begins earlier than the timestamp. [datravel the traveller]
1:00:15 - Seconds of clear percussion scarcely and sporadically shows up.
    1:06:15 - Q1 Finale (Clarity).
1:07:22 - Clarity gets shut down for the transition into R1.
1:08:51 - Teleportation sound? (*washeesh* *psheesh*)
1:09:00 - R1 has some fun playing with a resample frequency dial. It's mostly coherent otherwise.
1:11:11 - Coherent Hello Zamp sample [Platypus Records]
1:17:40 - Unintelligible transmission. Lasts a few minutes. (Possibly from G1?)
1:21:49 - High-pitched scrambled voice (kinda sounds like Ness from Smash lol).
1:24:08 - Another one. Preceded by a clear jingle (that has been there for a while) one would hear from an ice cream truck. Both in the left channel.
1:25:50 - R1 Finale (P3-like Droning). Featuring some birds at the start.
Oh, and thank you very much for the heart!

    Track Descriptions (inspired by @dadipedia948)
O1 - A major increase in neural decay is shown. The patient is also somehow very overwhelmed, as if it's aware it's seeing the void and entering.
O2 - Sundowning is more clear, as our patient is unaware, if at all of what is going on. There could also be moments or one of calm.
    P1 - Neural degradation resumes.
P2 - Our patient's brain state is shaking and fluctuating, one time the patient may be unconfused and aware of what's happening, the other could be in the same state as O1, P1 and Q1.
P3 - The final embers of hope are snuffed out by the ever-growing storm.
Q1 - Neural degradation resumes, again.
Q1 Clarity - Our protagonist suddenly becomes aware and unconfused again.
R1 - The storm itself has gotten worse, the clarities, if at all are there, Else, this is a apocalypse inside the brain. There are moments where our patient has regressed into a baby, even though regression has begun here. We transition from here into the next year in late R1.

I like how I sort of foresaw that Year 6's cover would be about the night sky although my idea involved the Moon going through all of its phases with its full moon phase being the actual bliss state before finally circling back to the New Moon phase it had at the beginning, there just being a black circle on the sky that cannot be seen as more than that. It's still terrifyingly gorgeous and it is definitely one of my favorites out of this project.
What's more is that even though Year 5's tracks gradually got longer, signifying the patient's increasing descent into chaos, here the process got reset and we go from relatively short tracks to those longer than 20 minutes. Year 6 was a very good album overall and is quite a lot better than Year 5 IMO. Great Work you are doing.

Goodness, every year just gets better than the last.
First off, that is EASILY the best cover art of the project so far.
Then getting into the music itself, I have to say, this is a perfect transition year. With Year 5, there were periods here and there of distinct music, and it generally varied between blissful and distressing. With this year, though, there is practically no distinct music at all, with the only clips of it being either very short, very faint, or both, and rather than varying between blissful and distressing, it's more like the static varies between violently loud and quiet. The "hope" in this, rather than being intelligible music like the clarity states of year 5, is more of a somewhat pleasant sounding drone, because really by here that's the most enjoyable thing the mind can conjure up. In year 5, you could at least recognize _a little_ of what the voices say, but in this one, it's just completely unintelligible. I recognized maybe a couple samples in year 5, but in this one, you can't make them out at all. Yet, at the same time, it's clearly not on the same level of broken and violent as an EATEOT stage 5, and it's clearly still the same stage as year 5, just noticeably further down the black hole. This was a masterpiece, as usual, and I'm eager to see where it goes from here.

I’ve never liked fan made projects for Everywhere at the End of Time but this project has shown it has more to offer than just copying the original. The album art has been the most interesting reimagining of Ivan seals work, each painting progressively loses color slowly becoming more unidentifiable junk. Although we know what the object is; we can no longer truly call it that anymore. Although the samples are across different decades, it fits the “year” idea more than if they we’re just stages. Each album has its own sound and themes that keep it from feeling like a carbon copy of the original. Personally I don’t think most of these projects respect truly how awful the disease is and just try to recreate what has already been done. Leyland did not create a new genre, he made a complete work of art spanning across his life to bring to life one of the most horrible ways to pass on. My grandma currently is going through Alzheimer’s and seeing how it’s affected her should truly deserves should have the upmost respect when made for a project rather than creating an album “you” think sounds nice or creepy.

    • @TheSandwich.
      @TheSandwich. 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

This isn’t me bashing on your project, i just think too many people wanna call it a genre rather than realizing there just copying an album with a subject matter that maybe shouldn’t be turned to a fandom.

      @JordanKeuring  2 ปีที่แล้ว +31

@@TheSandwich. I'm creating this project in honor of Leyland's work alongside representing the subject matter the best I can, I've done lots of research and I don't intend to simply disregard dementia for an album that just sounds good. I understand your point of view myself, this isn't supposed to be a genre and honestly a good amount of the members of the fandom don't understand the seriousness of EATEOT or dementia in the way that they should.

    • @seventyseven1977
      @seventyseven1977 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@JordanKeuring I think if people want to define it as a genre, it could easily be identified as sound collage and ambiance. Depending on the stage you listen to.
And yes, I do understand the point of view. I wonder if people could take the idea of the post awareness stages and make them there own thing. Instead of saying "yeah, this is about dementia" it could just be it's own track. Just a sound collage. You know what I mean? It's fine to say you got inspired by everywhere at the end of time, but a lot of fan projects, even if they say they are about dementia, just end up sounding better then being a serious project. Not many projects have made me really think about dementia like eateot did. When I finish them, I just end up being like "wow, what a good sounding album". This though, natmosR is the only fan project that has been just as good as eateot, been a total bop, AND has made me feel real emotion.
Some people may try to create fan projects, but I do think there is a huge disconnect in this fandom. And I do think a lot of people don't understand the seriousness of dementia.

i also find it interesting how there is a organ segment in both R1's of eateot and natmosr, both towards the end too

Not sure what to say that hasn't been said. I haven't listened to more than 10 minutes across the Year so far, and it's just awesome. It's like Year 5, but more. More authentic, more agnosia, all that. NatMoS:R Y5-8 is easily shaping up to be one of the best PA things ever.
