I'm actually impressed by how much the last track changes the mood of its sample.

I like these years but I felt the equivalent of J4 was better in the original NATMOSR

To me J3 (or the F2 reprise) is really powerful. I interoperate F2 as the words that brought this patient to Christ, and dementia being able to take away even that that is horrifying. (Even as a non religious person)

This stage was already brilliant to begin with. I like some of the additions, but I also think the balance got thrown off a bit. Curious how the epilogue will mix with Year 4, since the Before Sunrise clip is already on a later track in that year heavily distorted. I7 and I8 being pushed back to another year is fine, but it leaves the I side very unbalanced unless you plan on balancing out the other sides. Love the changes to J3, which I always thought was one of the more brilliant song selections in this project.

At this point safe to say, track will be here only in 2025, since description is still not done yet.

If I’m being honest, it felt weird to not hear the original I7 and I8 upon my first listen. But I did like the inclusion of Don’t Fear The Reaper(Or NATMOS C6), so that’s a plus. This album was a banger all the way through and a good way to end the year off on. I can’t wait to see what awaits in 2025!

if the covers are so good right now, imagine how they'll look during the post awareness stages! I'm very excited to see how "shadow of my life hanging over me" (7c) and "home is lost" (sides u-v) are going to look with the updated artstyle! awesome stuff!

Imma be honest, I do prefer this over the OG Y4 but this has a few flaws in my opinion. Besides the clipping which I know it will be fixed, here’s my feedback on how to improve it. - Use the H-side cover more since I’m confused on why the projector appears so many variations, making it flow worse. - Axe H8, I’m sorry but this track isn’t really that good as it’s just drums and weird vocals. - Rearrange or improve other H-side tracks such as H5/H6, H3 so it can flow better - Add something else to balance the I-side since it feels empty without I7/I8 (I know it’s going to be for something special in Y7 but makes I-side unbalanced) Apart from that, the other changes I do enjoy. Love the transition here. Love how muddy G3 (G2 og) sounds. I also enjoy the 2nd A1 reprise, F3 reprise, and the Don’t Fear the Reaper reprise. But I hope you take criticism by heart but as it stands, this album (well mostly H-side) needs improvements. Though I will say that G-side and J-side are both flawless.

the original year 4 was already a great album by itself, but this one is such an improvement over the original, i'm genuinely baffled at how good this is

I think this is the video that completely confirms to me that I do not like the Complete Edition of this FP whatsoever. I can't quite put my finger on why exactly, but I get the feeling that it's basically trying to force emotions onto me in a way that most of the original NATMOS:R did not. What makes EATEOT so good, at least to me, is that the music shows off a situation of a person with dementia during their progression, and the emotions would come out of you processing it and building the narrative it nudges you on yourself. Here, with the preludes on both Year 1 and this video, and the fact that many more of the songs seem to have an extra almost artifical "void-ness" (not a great word for it but I don't know a better way to describe it) all it does is make me feel like I'm being forcefed concentrated gloominess. I don't want to be forcefed, I detest getting the feeling that the sound is yelling in my ear " *THE PATIENT'S MIND IS BREAKING AND THEY'RE DEPRESSED!* " which is what I get from it. EATEOT and OG NATMOS:R did have some of that too, don't get me wrong, but not nearly as much as this. And with the cover changes, too, honestly it just confused me more than anything why it's changing so many times and for what purpose. Just adds to the forcefed-ness of it all. I don't like that this is the way the community seems to be liking their fan projects, that's the long and short of it. There's a video from EmpLemon on his Downward Diary channel about Pixar that essentially says that they tried to constantly chase after their emotional climax points in their movies and kept deliberately angling for them as often as they could instead of letting it be natural and making a proper good movie, and I think this fan project has done the exact same thing. Good luck on the rest of the years, hope to see all y'all make more stuff in the future, and I'm glad G4, my favorite track in the whole series, wasn't kicked out.

Y'know I would say some stuff like "its the best thing ever omg" but tbh I liked it. Nothing much else to say. No offense, but the 500 strukturs felt excessive, and I7 and I8 gone made me sad. But it's ok, the new ideas are great, natmos C6 reprise is so cool and J4 is 1000 times better now.
