- MLB The Show has been lacking in recent years, and we need to breathe some new life into the game! In this video, I go over my wishlist items for MLB The Show 24. I have ideas for custom teams, custom stadiums, new animations, as well as other general updates to the game and to Franchise Mode.

Never gonna happen, but I'd like for there to be updates to the stadium each time you win a pennant. Also, a log for each season would be nice in franchise. For example, you could scroll through each year, see the historical standings for each division, the playoff bracket, and the WS champion.
Been saying this for 10+ years. Maybe one day

Career mode with control of a current player, being able to request trades ANY time, go thru free agency etc. instead of having to create a player and play 300 minor league games and join a team in 2026 and become a free agent in 2034.
I agree with all the ideas. Love it. Also after MLB the show 17, when I activate my bullpen the commentators don't announce it. I missed that.

I AGREE ABOUT JERSEYS! We need new fonts and other options as well. If they can't give us a third or 4th jersey option, how about letting us EDIT THEM MID FRANCHISE? You can edit players and you can even REASSIGN STADIUMS in the MIDDLE OF FRANCHISE MODE! If we could edit or Logos and uniforms MID FRANCHIS, we would have UNLIMITED JERSEYS!!!!!

They need to add history pitcher vs batter stats...maybe give an advantage to whoever is dominating the stats
How about 6 man rotation options??? More DL slots.Not having a limit on 28 man roster.. meaning they could have 15 pitchers instead of 14 & 14. Having a simulation (via Madden Football). You can choose the winner of the games that you dont play in franchise (this will help reflect real life standings.

How about an on deck view of the Myplayer in rtts, you see the pitcher from the next batters view. Maybe interact as you watch the pitches come in an gain or loose contact on your turn at the plate.
Custom draft classes, it’s literally the only thing I care about and will 100% effect wether I buy this year or not
Also they should have anniversary and All-Star patches go away after the season is over
You will get significant changes to diamond dynasty only and nothing else and you will like it!
They need to let us use our custom logos on our custom field for our custom teams for sure and the 3rd jersey would be nice like you’ve said. Nice video!
updated stats and award voting. i need to see ops+ and era+ and mvps and cy youngs keep winning because of their rbis and wins, its outdated nowadays
Fantasy baseball has been a thing forever. I'm very surprised that The Show doesn't have more of a "manage only" in online live play mode. Playing fantasy baseball is one thing, but being able to set your lineups, make in-game changes, call for certain plays, and watch your players perform brings fantasy baseball to a whole new level.
Also I would like to see each players awards like we can their stats. How is that not a thing yet either??
They need to bring the “season” mode back. I haven’t played the show since 17. When they started to care more about people spending money on coins than just the casual player who just wants to create a player and import them to a team and play, I stopped playing…. And a fantasy draft with ALL players available, imagine a team where you can draft Babe Ruth and Ken Griffey Jr on the same team… that would be cool….
I wonder when they will just forget the previous console generation and just focus on current hardware and really max out the horsepower of a PS5 for example and quit worrying about trying to shoe horn it onto the PS4.
They need to add challenges to all of the bases not just 1st base. And I hope they fix the glitches from that copy and paste job that they did on mlb the show 23. Js

More replays in dynamic way,
Equipment editing like colors and shoes
But keep adding to the brands we have.
The weather factor , if a game is played in late September and October in Chicago or Boston, Colorado we need to see that cold and freezing on the players faces.

Broken bat animations, pitcher spits, pitcher ask for new baseball especially intense situation,
Second baseman signal two fingers for two outs let keep and add more animations like that
Keep and add more animations and presentations ,
Arguing with the umpires options, and beach ball delays
More catcher animation and interaction,
Put jacket on pitcher in dug out- I’m a detail guy so the more the better
Women sideline reporter and more announcers
Can you make an option of injuries for either only big league and minor or both when you have a franchise set up.

Franchise is great!! Maybe a batting cage for practice and training and pitching as well, please keep the jumbo trim stuff
can there be a roster update during my offline franchise mode ? some how without destroying our roster costumization that we had already worked on or some how make new players or rookies available in a free agent pool during our franchise- like a menu of sort and we can grab them from there while in francisise during the season.
