Keeping logs on required maintenance for your engines is a must. Keeps you from overlooking something and having failures. I was going to comment on you previous tour video about that great looking engine room but glad I waited. Wonderful video guys.
Great video, guys! I learned a lot. Your engines look even cleaner than when you bought the boat. Great job! The engine room's my favorite part of Sea Y'all, too; it's the heart and soul. Good sailing! - Guy Buxman
Awesome tour you guys! We're impressed by how much room you have in the engine room. That's definitely a must for us on our next boat! Great job on this episode!
Anytime you need help give me a call! Kathy and I are planning on a 44' Defever for our retirement vessel! I have outfitted Fairliner, Pacemaker, Grand Banks, Hatteras, Viking, Ocean Alexander and Mikelson not to mention maintaining P-3's, S-3's, F-14's, A-7's and E2C's...lol
@@stevetadlock5223 Well that sounds pretty amazing! Incidentally, we are headed to the USVIs Next week… Renting a 50 foot power cat with three other couples from our marina. Can’t wait!
Nice! My boat is 36' with twin Perkins 4 cyl. engines. Good room to work and 10' of head room but I have to open up the floor in the salon, lol. Is there such a thing as engine room envy? I think so.

Thank you! And we can’t agree more regarding the maintenance log.
My wife and I really like your Engine Room, I could stand up in there too.
Thank you!!!
That is a very clean engine room. Well taken care of.
Thank you!!!
Kudos for a ready for inspection engine room.
Thanks, John!
Wow, I thought my engine room was fairly clean! Those mains look like they just came out of the show room.
They really do! Her previous owners loved her so so much and it shows!
Exactly!!

My fantasy was always to be a marine diesel mechanic, the most important person on Earth to those who need one.
You got that right!
Your knowledge and expertise made for an interesting video.
Thank you for the kind words…but still learning!

@@TheSeaYallLife Sounds great! I have friends that do that every year...Have a cocktail for us at Foxy's and Soggy dollar's...
How often do you wash the outside of the boat surfaces to keep rust at bay? What spare parts do you keep?

Nice video, I can see I have some work to do in the engine room on Infinity.
Thank you so much! Is MV Infinity a trawler too?
