I met my doppleganger in a Burger King. He was working the counter. I had several friends with me and we all just kind of stood there for a while. A few other Burger King employees came out, saw us all standing there, noticed the guy at the register and I were basically the same person and started staring too. We stood there staring at eachother, commenting on how weird it was for a very long time. Eventually ordered food. A whopper, no tomato, extra onion, guy says that's the exact same thing he always orders, at the same time we both say, "I fuckin hate tomatos". As we were leaving my friends said the guy even sounded exactly like me. Never saw him again. Friends still bring it up sometimes.
One time a few years ago I was in the car with my dad and we got to the mailbox and took out the mail and on one of the adds was a little girl who looked EXACTLY like the toddler or maybe slightly older version of me. It was freaky and I don't know what to think about it. Weirder stuff has happened to me, so much stuff in fact I could write a book about it, but that is the closest I have to a doppelganger story.
a year or two ago, me and my friend was in a bookstore and then we saw a book and on the cover of that book was a person that looked exactly like my friend. we just stod there in like twenty minutes and where like wth is happenig? sejhglkefghklsrg
@@whoopwhoop_ That easily could have been your friend. Facebook has been selling photos for years! You technically still "own" them but give them licence to use ans abuse or sell them in whatever way they feel like.
I remember reading somewhere about a Norwegian Urban Legend where sounds of an event would happen before it happens. Something about a warning from the future of bad events, like a doppelganger. I don't remember what it's called though. Really long name.
My favorite glitch in the matrix story from my dad: Back when he was a fire chief, he dreamed that he was on a call where the family was still stuck upstairs. The father was in his room next to the bed, unconscious. The older child was under his bed. The younger hiding in the closet. Their puppy in the laundry room downstairs. Later that week, he got a call for a burning home with a family of three inside. When he got on scene, he rushed inside after hearing that no one knew where the family was. He knew his way around the house and told his men where the family was exactly. "The little girl is in the closet, I'll grab the boy from under his bed. Man is next to his bed, unconscious. After saving the people, he ran back in and saved the black lab puppy from the laundry room. Everyone witnessed him blatantly say where the family was. So for the next few months everyone joked he could tell the future. And it actually kept occurring. The trainees in the area called him a legend from his stories. But when he had his accident, everything stopped. Guess getting scalped by the road fixed the glitch. He still remembers the dreams and calls vividly, this one being most clear in his memory.
Wish I had that. It'd have saved me some time to have this entity allow me to be free. Nevertheless, same. It sounds incredibly... I don't know the word to describe it. Ethereal doesn't do it.
William Walworth It’s absolutely amazing. I tried to find the specific comment on Reddit just to try and ask more questions; what color was it?! I’m so curious and stories like that one truly make me think and actually hope for a better tomorrow.
Mine isn't as scary, but here goes: One time I dream't that we ate my favorite food, and one of my mom's friend (Let's call him J) tried to help and I got a big sinking feeling. In the dream he poisoned my sister's food, and she died. The next day my sister and J comes over and we start to make my favorite food. (Mind you, I didn't know who was coming over or what dinner was). J offered to help and I tried to tell him no in the nicest way possible. We eat, and my mom and sister go outside. J went to the bathroom. I couldn't help myself, and looked in his bag. He had a bottle of sauce in his bag, and my little brain thought to smell it. It smelled like rat poison (We had used it to help with a mouse problem months earlier.) I told my mom, and she confronted him. J doesn't come over anymore
What if that was just his way of poisoning his rodent problem, or was going to help someone else, nother family, with their rodent family and the sauce was effective in covering up the taste of the poison nd you all just jumped to conclusions for nothing lmao of course this is only if the story is true. I cant imagine anyone digging through someone's stuff irl, only thieves and people in movies do tshit like that lol
when my step-dad was a young adult, he knew a old dude named Robert, who always wore light suits with an ascot, and had lived with Pablo Picasso when him and Pablo were practically homeless. An hour later after he told me that story, I went to an antique store, and the only painting being sold in the entire place was a print of the Picasso painting "Poor Robbie"
Cool! One time as a teenager I was with my friend and for some reason we were selling newspaper subscriptions at a trailer park. One guy subscribed and as we were talking with him while he filled out the form, my friend asked him for a cigarette. He said sure and gave her a Paul Mall brand cigarette. When we walked away and looked down at his name on the subscriptions, his name was Paul Ball.! So. Paul Ball, gave us a Paul Mall!
I have that, it sucks. It's not often but waking up to blood curdling screams from strangers or family, gunshots, or a dog barking, then searching all over the house to find the source only to conclude it was in your head again is frustrating.
My glitch in the matrix: My mum told me to wait for a call from my grandma because she was in the hospital after falling. I got a call from my grandma on my mums side explaining what happened and that she’s getting better. When I told mum about this she was confused. Because it was my dads mum who fell, not my mum’s mum. They both had the same accident at the same time.
Maybe it's like the story where the guy asked if he had been a repost. Maybe the matrix didn't have time or energy to make a new character model so they went with your dad?
sometimes after you lose someone important your brain cant get rid of how that person looked and kinda copy pastes it onto someone that lookalikes, to cope with it.
Normally I’d be like “well not me” but actually... same.. I don’t think I am. Despite being a security guard at work during a night shift in the front of the lobby where the whole front wall is made of glass windows and the back of the lobby is too which leads out to the courtyard. But I’m also on camera and so are the areas in front and behind me. I can see those spots without turning my head as well as directly behind my front desk. I also would probably raise a brow and just accept it if anything weird happened after some of the stuff I’ve seen and heard. It’s probably just the tone the video sets.
I feel that too, happens also at work, I feel like everyone is a stranger, my job is strange and just everything feels out of touch, like the story in the video I also get that with friends and family members or even myself where it's just like we're strangers..
Read this right as the second uncle story was being read. And I was thinking the same thing. Wow. This happened to me the other day watching these matrix glitch vids.
Growing up, my family had a cat. She was an outdoor cat, so she’d be gone for most of the day. There came a period where she’d venture off for a while, but come back later. It started as 1 day, then 2 days, then a week, but she’d always come back. After about a month, she didn’t return. We figured she’d gotten lost. Fast forward to a few months later and we got a call from a lady saying she had our cat. We drove to her house, and sure enough, there was our cat, a little ragged, but happy to see us. Spooky thing is, on the day our cat went missing, the lady’s sister, Katy, died and she came home and found our cat on her doorstep. Our cat’s name was Katy.
I have one: My friend was telling me the contact details for someone so that I could call the next week. He begins telling me the phone number and by the time the last 4 digits gets spoken I repeat them to make sure the last 4 were good. He looks at me and says, how did you know those were the numbers. I say “dude you just said them” then we proceed to have a weird moment for the next 5 minutes as all 3 of us 100% did not hear him tell me the last 4.
A friend of mine in high school had a matrix glitch. She came to school that day in a panic and asked us what day it was. I don't remember specifically what day it was or what month, so let's say it was Tuesday. She swore up and own that the day before was Wednesday, she remembers the whole day events and even completed homework for Wednesday that wasn't even assigned yet.
One day when i was in first grade this happened: a soon as got off the bus and walked into the classroom, i knew exactly everything that was going to happen on that day. No kidding. I knew what assignments the teacher would do for that day ahead of time, what events were about to happen moments before they happened. It seemed as if i had lived that day before. I still remember that day 40 some years later. It felt like Deja Vu turned up to the max. and lasted all day, weird.
sometimes im just like. i could’ve been born as anyone and anything and i could do anything rn. like i could walk in the middle of the road naked. i could be the worst person ever, or the best person. i realize every now and then that i have choices in life and it freaks me out.
@@fvaldez714 Oof. That made me think of the Movie, The Butterfly Effect. But for real I think of stuff like, what if I got up right now and left in school sometimes. Or If I punched this guy because why not.
Dude, same. Sometimes when I'm making a decision on stuff, I choose one of the stuff and then always imagine what would happen if I didn't choose it. ( Basically a multiverse ) Like that makes me question my whole life since like what if my parents didn't get together? What could I have done to not fail my test? Etc..
I once had a mundane dream where I was driving my car down the interstate. I know where it is because someone kindly spray painted "Speed Trap" on the bridge above where police like to sit. I remember overtaking a red truck and a black semi that wasn't pulling a trailer. Just before I cut back into the right lane, I see a sneaky female police officer wearing HUGE mirrored sunglasses on the side of the road. I look down, and I'm doing 80 in a 65. "Fuuuu-" and the dream was over. Time to go to work. I get a phone call from my sister, answer it and start talking to her while I'm on my way, and I pass the helpful bridge... And I'm coming up on a red truck, following a black semi with no trailer. I elect to not pass, slow down to 69, and tell my sister "There's gonna be a cop up ahead". Yup. Same crazy sunglasses.
Oh my god, I got a good few stories: so back when I was young, I lived in an apartment, I had a dream where I was playing a online game, I knew it was a dream, so I tried reading a sign saying “you are safe here, no worries,” then a faceless person came running at me and attacked me, 10 years later the same situation, but it wasn’t a online game, I was working in a store as a cashier, I looked up and saw the same sign, then I saw someone running at me with a visible knife, I side stepped out of the way, then everyone looked at me and asked what was wrong, I said someone just tried to attack me, they looked confused and said that nobody should be here, it is closing, just get back to counting the cash registers, the next day, there was a report at that store that someone was attacked with a knife, it was the same time instead of it being night it was day time, the guy did not survive the attack, the employees said it was the first attack in a good few months, I told them that I was attacked the last night, they said that I wasn’t scheduled to work at that time
I feel like most glitches predicting certain moments earlier than usual. I read somewhere that our bodies have a short delay in reacting to stimuli so to compensate our brains try to predict events as they’re happening. So Like the guy saw the kid kick the ball before he actually did. His brain predicted and created a scenario a second too early and was very noticeable
my mom told me a story about how when she was in high school she and her friends were driving on a highway in the middle of the night and how my mom was in the passenger seat and as they are going up a hill my mom got a crazy bad feeling and told them to pull over to the side of the road and they said no at first and she told then again and they pulled over only a few seconds later a car came speeding head-on towards them going 100 and if they haven't pulled over to the side of the rode they would have been hit head-on and all would have been killed
@@sonatine1third it's both :P i think the universe glitches sometimes to also save a person, there is other glitch stories like this, my mom even has a version where she was a kid and her and her parents were about to drive off a cliff since the road was too icy, and they somehow teleported to the other side.
Always remember, if you hear a relative's voice calling your name when you're alone/no one's there, never respond. This means whatever it is, is trying to mimic their voice and answering will let it know it's getting better.
Its true, at my old house during the day I would always hear my mother say my name very loud from my bedroom(upstairs). I would go downstairs and ask if my mother if she said my name (of course she didint), than at night i would always hear loud knocking i would ask about it but i was the only one that heard it. I would also (and still but way less after i left that house) have bad sleep paralysis of a melting guy with many eyes wearing a tot hat, i also se the man in the middle of the day whilst hanging out with my friends (one of witch has similar experiences) and they sometimes also see him. Sorry for the rambling but it really creepy!!!
I've seen my best friend die in a dream. Everything, down to the failed makeup on her face and the pattern of the blood, was accurate. Happened a few months after the dream...
If you were around 3 it may have been your memory developing otherwise if you were 5 it might just be that your brain only thought certain memories( idk fireworks and gifts and more people) were worth remembering, if not idk
One morning when I was around 8 years old, I woke up with no memory of how I got to be 8 years old. Nothing from the previous day, or any milestone growing up. It felt like I had just been placed in a random situation, almost like a new doll in a doll house. It took a few hours for everything to feel normal again.
I doubt you will see this, but I literally had the same thing happen. I woke up one day when I was 8 years old and could not remember anything. Like I was in some other person's body and everything from the past had never happened. I just adjusted after a bit, but I never can forget that morning of feeling so out of place. I am freaked out. how was it that you were also 8 years old and experienced the same thing.
I was around 5 when all I remember is I guess I was dreaming but it felt so real I was living at my old house I didn’t know anything about the house I live in now at the time bc I never been their before so I wouldn’t know anything about the roads and houses , the dream was that I was in the car and my mom was just driving us “home” which is where I live now and then I see a couple on the side of the road (everything in the dream looked exactly how it does ) and my mom said something like “that’ll be you one day when you’re a teenager” and I just woke up from it in the house that I lived in with my mom and dad (they were never together after I was born so idk why he was their lol) and I remember a fight happened between them and we went to that house but I never saw the couple and it was weird to me
Same happened to me. But it was the day after my 4th birthday. I remember I waked up one morning from a dream, I was in a convertable with my father.s side of the family, running away from something. It was nightime and we were driving up in circles towards the roof of an airport parking lot. It.s wierd, cause i am not close at all to that side of the family, parents are divorced. When i woke up. i felt like it wasn.t my body. But basic info (name) started comming in my mind. I saw pictures of the day before, thinking " oh, okay, i guess i could continue her life ". First memory. Creepy.
I get the same thing, had it a couple years now ever since I got ego death from smoking too much weed. You learn to live with it it’s whatever, at least for me
One time, I was sitting watching TH-cam. One minute it was 5 and I was doing homework, the next it was 9 and I was laying down still watching TH-cam and my homework wasn't done.
I literally just talked to my dad about something like this. I was simply sitting down, using my computer when suddenly i hear a plane passing by. I remember wondering why it sounded so loud, as if the plane was quite flying quite low when suddenly everything went dark, as if the bright sunny day had instantly changed to a moonless night for a couple of seconds. I remember i even looked out my window and everything was dark, almost pitch black. By the time i swung my head back to my computer, everything went bright and sunny again. It was such a strange feeling and i remember it too vividly for it to have been a daydream.
I have witnessed a huge soundless flying ...thing glide over my house slowly before and it was all black, shaped kinda like a rounded at the edges huge kind weird rectangle. It flew over my house and it was so ominous and creepy. If you hadn't mentioned a loud sound I'd think it was the same thing I saw. It gave me the worst sinking feeling I've ever felt before, and this was when I lived in a huge house near the downtown area of my city so quite populated. Not a rural setting at all ugh
When I was about 11 years old I woke up, did my normal routine, went downstaires and had breakfast. I was speaking my mom when a huge explotion went off outside, everything went dark red and I woke up. But it felt so freaking real, still creeps me out to this day
Yeah, the story about the guy who thought his uncle died but (after talking to his sister)then realized that he never actually died was also mentioned twice
This legit happened yesterday. I hadn’t seen my best friend in over a year and hadn’t texted her in months. I thought about maybe texting her telling her I missed her, and when I got home from school that day my sister told me that my friend had texted wanting to talk to me. We obviously have a psychic connection, because that was legendary.
this was maybe 6 or so years ago. I walked up to a girl that just started working a few days ago introducing myself to her. Her name tag said Melissa, but I for what ever reason said hello Sarah. She freaked out. turns out she transferred to our store because of a abusive relationship and wanted to go by Melissa to help that information keep secret. she was cool but strange. She ALWAYS has a bottle of tabasco sauce in her purse and loves the stuff on everything.
When I was a kid, I remember being driven to school by my mom and a deer jumped over the hood of our car, narrowly avoiding being rammed by us. She then said that we had to be careful because it was a doe, so maybe baby deer were nearby trying to cross the street too. Fast forward 18 years and my mom begins to talk about a time a deer jumped over her car and I say "Oh yeah I remember that!" And she looks at me with a weirded out expression and said "You weren't in the car. I had already dropped you off at school and was on my way to work." And then begins to talk about how after that happened she was worried she might hit one of the deer's babies since it was a doe
I've had so many, but the one that sticks out as just interesting still was when I was like 4 years old. I was in bed and didn't want to deal with the nighttime, so I took my pillow [I've been put to bed at this stage so I'm alone] and just stick my face in the pillow before promptly sitting up. I'm 100% serious, it went from night to day immediately . I ran downstairs to tell my dad, who tried to explain that was how sleeping works. I stg I didn't sleep that night, I was in the same exact position after just dipping my face into the pillow and sitting up within the same second
I've had that happen. it was like you slept a whole night but you didn't have any dreams and you didn't feel tired at all? like awake, blinked, and time shifted forward? yeah it freaked me tf out too.
Same dude, I was 4-5 and I remember being at the edge of my bed, flopping back onto the cushion, and immediately opening my eyes, it's day, and i'm in a normal sleeping position, not the edge of my bed
The exact same thing happened to me when I was like 11. I went to sleep on a school night and after what felt like a minute my mom came in and told me to wake up for school and I was like "what do you mean? I just fell asleep". It was weird. Wish it would happen again though.
When I was a freshman, my friend and I were doing our Spanish homework together in the hallway right before it was due, when it was time for Spanish class, the teacher asked us to check our answers but when I flipped to the page, none of my answers were there. I know I did them because I was with my friend working on it, my friend saw and was like “dude wtf?” I asked what page it was and I was on the correct page. I decide to close it and open it again and then, all of a sudden, my answers were there. I sat there shocked Bc I didn’t close my book for a good couple of minutes, and for them to just reappear as though they were always there.. this has happened twice and in the same class.
Once when I was in 7th grade I was sitting in a bathroom stall and I heard to door open footsteps and a stall lock. I finish up leave my stall and see that all the stalls are open. I fricken washed my hands and bolted out of there with chills going down my spine.
The closest thing I've had to these "glitches" was when I was a young teen. I had gone to a summer camp and met a girl I liked. We kept in touch and eventually I went to see her in her hometown with my mom and grandma. The town had never been relevant to me, I had never lived there or even been there, but it was significant in my family history, hence why my grandma had wanted to come. We had family buried there. So we had gone to the cemetery to humor grandma. We didn't know exactly where the graves were so we were kind of spread out looking, when I found a very old-looking gravestone that appeared to be roughly engraved by hand. I don't remember much about it, other than I felt sad for whoever was buried there. The weird part was, when I looked up from reading the gravestone, my grandma, who had only been a few rows away from me at first, was suddently over 100 yards away. So basically, my little old grandma (just imagine a female Danny Devito + about 20-30 years with a deep belief in god.) had moved almost completely across cemetery in the time it took me to read a first/last name and two dates, from my perspective. To this day I wonder about that grave. It was unique in that cemetery. I wish I rememebered the details well enough to do some actual research. I remember my impression was that somebody had barely managed to afford having them laid to rest there, and that the gravestone itself was hand made by someone who worked very hard to assure that this person had a respected place among the dead. Still though, it wasn't a long enough train of thought to be lost in to explain how my grandma had moved so far and so little time...
When I was a young boy, I went with my parents to the mountains where my dad had just gotten a job as a caretaker. We were shown around the hotel by the previous caretaker, an old black man and a very nice guy. At one point, he called me by a nickname that only my parents called me, something he had no way of knowing. Later on in the tour, our eyes met for a moment and, though he wasn’t speaking, I could hear his voice clear as day. He asked: “Do you like ice cream, Doc?”
@@elinjones4743 Trust me, it was very creepy. In that first instance, he didn't talk with his voice, though I could still hear it. I know its hard to understand. I do remember talking with him afterward (he did actually get me ice cream. he was a nice man after all). He said that what I heard was like an inner voice. I know this sounds crazy, man, but he was adamant about it. Even said he and his grandmother used to have conversations for hours without speaking out loud. Can you believe that? I cant remember what he called it but he said that not only people could communicate in this way but, crazily enough, places. Like the hotel we were staying in. Like the room he told me not to enter.
I've had it happen to me when I hit severe bouts of depression (like, my lowest low) where nothing feels real and nothing feels right and nothing really matters because it's not there. I think to an extent its a protective measure our brains take when it feels like we're about to endanger ourself. It pushes you so out of it that you can't focus on yourself anymore.
Grace Dell if ever you're having trouble spelling existential , remember : you're questioning whether your existence has meaning . I remember quite clearly when I was at school I think I was in seventh grade and I remember the teacher just going at me yelling and screaming at me and I just remember being so done with her I was staring off into space and then I could see an up above you and I can move around it was weird and freaky but I I was still staring at the teacher even though my person wasn't in there I guess but I remember quite clearly once again that when my body jolted back into me I put my head down and I just started to solve teacher still didn't care I didn't know how to feel
For a little info: I am a messy sleeper. I have heard from many people that I move around A LOT in my sleep so I can never wake up with my blankets looking the same as when I went to bed. Now the story: in 2015, my house was up for sale. I was always cleaning my room because of people coming to walk through my house. I have a loft bed that is very hard to straight blankets on and I hated changing the sheets because it was such a difficult task. One normal night, I crawled up to me bed, slipped under the very straight covers and fell asleep. When I woke, my mom asked me if I had woke up earlier and made my bed or slept on the floor. I looked down and my covers were completely straight and smooth and I still don’t now how it happened to this day.
I swear I've seen people just vanish when they've walked behind something outside my field of view. Like someone would walk behind a sign while I was walking nearby in a mall and then they were just gone when I should have been able to see them again. Looked around, they had no time to make it into a shop or turn around and go the other way. They just disappeared and it seemed like I was the only one who noticed.
@@Mkmcco No need to shout. I take Nisargadatta's or Ramana Maharshi's standpoint, 'You are not the body nor are you the mind, you have a true self that observes your thoughts, it is the witness, awareness, presence, in the same way as the screen in the cinema is untouched by the film playing on it, I observe but remain detached. This works almost 100% of the time and allows one to treat the imposters of triumph and disaster just the same.
ok this might be weird but i feel the need to share: when i was 5 or 6 i remember going somewhere on vacation with my family and my cousins and my grandma and grandpa. i remember full conversations and exactly what the house we stayed at looked like. everything is still in my head and i have multiple vivid memories of this happening. the weirdest part is that not a single person of my family remembers that trip and they all tell me i was dreaming but i know for a fact that it was real because it was so vivid and specific and it made sense while every single one of my dreams is completely wack
I’m surprised no one has taken this yet, so: _There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call_ *The Twilight Zone* I mean, all of these are very TZ-esque in their odd explanations that seem too crazy to be true.
When I try to think about these things I get chills and start feeling depressed and start tearing up and can't properly think about it but my imagination is better most of what should seem normal to me is this normal
I was at the train station years ago and I had to move against the crowed to get to my platform. I bumped into a man and I felt an object leave my pocket. After checking I found out I was pick-pocketed by the guy. I tried chasing after and calling out to the man suddenly for some random reason I had both my phone and wallet in both hands.
[Thread is archived so imma post my experience here] I was dreaming withing a dream. When I woke from my subdream I noticed my window was fogged over. After a while I woke up from my main dream and noticed the exact same foggy window. I mentally freaked out for a while, but looking back I think I may have overreacted.
I kind of have the same thing except it’s more I wake up seconds before something else wakes me up, I’ve made it normal to inform my dad before he bangs on the door to wake me up, it gives me a head ache if I’m already up.
i've had a dream in a dream in a dream where the last dream became a lucid dream so i got up and decided to have some cereal since i was shook from having "a dream in within a dream" i then woke up to find myself pulling the milk out of our fridge and dropped it on the floor scared and confused as hell
Here's one that recently happened to me. Back in October of 2019, mom and I went to get some stuff from Walmart for decorations. One of the items we got was a white pumpkin to put out the front of the old house we were in. Keep in mind I was not feeling so good around this trip, so things got a tad fuzzy. Anyhow, following this when we got back home, we opened the trunk to pick the pumpkin out... And there was no white pumpkin in the car, even though I swear we had gotten one on sale at Walmart. To this day we still do not know where it disappeared to.
The depersonalization one: I had this happen to me also. I was sitting with my boyfriend on the floor and suddenly, when he reached out to hug me I backed up, looked at him and was like ''Who are you? Where am I? How did I get here?''. I totally didn't understand what was going on. He didn't either and thought I was joking so he tried again but this time I moved couple centimeters away from him and just stared, trying to find an explanation of what the hell was happening. This man who I have no clue who he is is trying to hug me and is talking to me, in a room I have no remembrance of. I was distancing him and we both were very confused. It lasted about 10 long minutes until I slowly regained all of the memories of him and the place and hugged him myself. I still have no clue what happened then.
@@juliusweiss5447 Yes, that's always a good idea. The next step would be to see if her family has a history of degenerative diseases like Dementia or Alzheimer's. This could be an early sign. In my line of work in hospitals I've seen people at in their mid thirties already showing slight hints of early dementia. So your advice should be followed. This could have also been something purely psychological. I don't want to give advice in a field I have no proficiency in, so my guess is just suppressed trauma memories, I've read of cases like that but it was something rare.
Had a déjà vu moment when I was around 10 or 9. I had gone to bed and had a dream about getting up, going to school, and coming home. A normal day and everything. It felt so real, but then I woke up. I found myself having the same conversations, and doing the same actions. When I went to school I decided to test my theory and I finished my friends sentence for them. They gave me a look, and said "I was about to say that? How did you do that?" And all I could say was I had a dream about it. From then on I proceeded to freak people out, even going as far as telling my friends what we were going to eat in the lunch line. They all thought it was weird, but I never mentioned it again. Ever since then, I've never had a dream about the next day, but I sometimes find myself feeling that I have already done something, or said something.
Ive convinced myself our conscious never truly dies that we hop from possibility to possibility. For example im sure everyone has a near death experience multiple times throughout their life. Well what if its not near death at all but you actually die and then your conscious hops to the next possible timeline where you missed it ever so nearly just enough to survive
One time, I laying in a tent at around 10:00 at night with my cousins when I was little, I then blinked and I shit you not, the sun was up, I checked my phone and the time was 6 in the morning. I KNOW for a fact I didn't fall asleep, I legit blinked and poof, daytime!
Is it just me or did the one about the uncle being dead but not really dead repeat 2 times or have I just had a glitch in the matrix while watching this Never mind just found the two different parts Edit But 33:37 and 56:46 can we just take a moment to look at how similar these stories are Edit WTF 1:30 and 1:11:30 they are legit so similar again, I saw the start of the second one and as soon as “I saw I went to go wash my face” I was like I swear I’d they are on the shoes perfectly folded I’m gonna shit myself.
I just remembered one occurrence from when I was very young that I would now classify as a "glitch in the matrix" type of experience. I used to live in California, my mother, brother, and I lived in a 3 bedroom house in a duplex and we had one computer (albeit a pretty old one) that my brother and I were allowed to play video games on, but my mom had a limit that each person would only be allowed 1 hour before they had to get off and let the other play if they wanted to, this was mainly because we would end up arguing over when the other should get off otherwise, but needless to say it got to a point where being the first to get on the computer became a very big competition between us (not surprising, we are both competitive af, even these days) this story takes place during one week where my bedroom was being painted so I wasn't sleeping there, but instead on the loveseat in our livingroom, this is important because it's actually from here that I saw this. I actually woke up early one morning during that time, and was thinking "hey, I'll get the computer first!" and proceeded to stretch, as one does when they are getting ready to get up. I'm not sure whether I fell back asleep or if I had dreamt waking up early like that but I swear it seemed like within the second I had my eyes closed, my brother had not only got on the computer but was literally midway through playing a game (this was an old PC so it took a good 5 minutes to load many games) I proceeded to throw a fit (we were small children at the time, idk why I remember this) and I am pretty sure I looked completely ridiculous as there I was, an 8-year-old standing there crying while essentially accusing my brother of teleporting himself on the computer and onto a video game as I blinked. I am laughing right now imagining how that must have sounded to my mom but I still don't quite understand what happened there, and it honestly doesn't matter. TL:DR My brother appeared to teleport himself onto my family's computer to play a video game before I could when we were younger.
Today I had something like “a glitch in the matrix” happen to me, I looked at my wallet in the car while I was getting out, and I saw it in my seat as I closed the door, I turned around to go check the mail, and about 20 yards away was my wallet...open. I turn back to the car, open it, and it’s gone. So, I walk up to the wallet in the driveway and pick it up. It had the same amount of money, same cards, and even the same little hole in the bottom...weird
When I was like 12-13 I would have dreams that I had wings, every, single, night and the creepy part was that I felt pain in my back, at the places where the wings should be and it got stronger and stronger after every dream. At this point I could hear my back cracking even more, it lasted about two weeks and when the pain became unbearable I just said stop in my mind and that's it. When I tell this story, no one believes me.
Simple explaination. Your brain is just that powerful. Its why drug testing includes placebos. Why faith healing can have any effect and why medically there is no way someone can survive/walk or do somthing normally impossible. Never underestimate how crazy powerful belief is!
I have exploding ear disorder too. Sometimes I would wake up to a loud "HEY!!" like there was someone in the room. It was really creepy. Luckily it doesn't happen very often.
Wait is that what that is?? I’ll have it where I’ll wake up to people telling me to wake up really loudly and I’ll flinch so hard I either hurt myself or fall out of bed but then no one is there. I’ll even ask the person who I heard and they’re either asleep or they’ll deny it. It’s wild
So it’s my sophomore year of college. My buddy from back home who I still play online games with (but haven’t seen it ages) comes down to visit me on campus. Friday rolls around and he calls me, saying he’s at the front door. I open the door, and he’s wearing exactly the same thing as me - down to the socks. Grey and black striped tshirt with black jeans and white sneakers. We both stood there stunned, until my roommate comes up and says “good one guys”. We just played it off like we planned it, because nobody would believe anything else. Bonus: our names rhyme and are almost identical. Like a real life Mario and Luigi.
I had a friend who had some of the same clothes as me and occasionally we would meet up and be in the exact same outfit. Never planned. We would just see each other and be like whut?
Wanted to put my most remembered one here. I had multiple of these things. Dreams that reoccured on same dates, hearing voices, feeling if things are good or bad, seeing shadowy creatures when awake. Or toys moving. One day when I was very little, around 6 or 7, my mom went to the doc with me because of me stating to see and hear things. And while we sat in the waiting room I heard my brother cry and scream "Mom help me I cant get out of the bathroom!!" (The lock is an easy turnlock and can be opened and closed from both sides, he is 2 years older than me) I panicked and cried and told mom that we HAVE TO go home to help him. She insisted on staying. I was so upset the whole time. After we came home, we heard my brother scream exactly THAT as soon as we opened the front door. The lock has got stuck somehow and he wasnt able to get out. My mum never doubted me ever again and canceled further meetings with the doc. I still to this day hate the door and am to scared to lock it.
A few months ago, I was doing some embroidery work when I dropped my needle on the floor. Normally it makes a small ting once it hits the floor but there was no sound. I searched the entirety of my room, including under my bed but nothing. Time passes and last week I was cleaning my room when it suddenly appears from nowhere on my desk. I organize my desk almost every week and my desk is also very small so I would have noticed my needle on my desk, not mention the fact that I was embroidering on my bed, across the room.
hockey legend50 yeah, no doubt about it that it’s God. Whether that person went and accepted Jesus or not only they know, but that was definitely God intervening
I’ve got a pretty weird one. When I was younger my mom and I were in the living room just talking and then we said something at the same time and both said “jinx” but it just kept going. For a good minute or two we were just saying random things and it was lining up. The timing and everything was flawless and it was so weird.
I remember this one dream where I was quite literally hopping across portals to various different dimensions. I was with a group of people, including the guy I had a crush on at the time, and we were the main "watchkeepers," I guess. We had to fight off zombies who were trying to make it through the portals, and also sinister aliens. It was like a different storyline played out in every dimension we traveled to before we eventually ended up back in the one we started. It was insane. Not a glitch, but still pretty cool.
6:03 This kinda happened to me. Coworker named Zach took me to Tacobell and I noticed you could order with a screen like at some McDonald’s. I select my order and put it under the name John and just kinda chuckled and said “you are now John”. He just kinda spaced out for a sec and was like “I write books under the fake name of John.” It was crazy
My own experience, part one: Some years ago (more than 5, but I forget the exact number), I was living alone in my apartment. I was really poor, could only afford to live there by not paying one of my bills each month, getting it the next month, so that all of my bills soon had past dues on them. Anyway, could only afford food because of food stamps. Well one day, I open my closet and a purple shirt/top I'd never seen before was there. It was tie-dyed, a one-size sleeveless top. No idea where it came from, had never seen it before in my life. Couldn't have been in the closet before because the closet had been empty when I moved in, and barely had anything in it at the time I was living there anyway. Part two: I still have that top. But at some point one of the straps tore and I had to stop wearing it. Didn't throw it out because I was still poor (though less so than before) and was planning to get it repaired. I never got around to taking it in for repair, and I don't have the stuff needed to do it myself, nor the skill needed. Anyway months pass, I think more than a year, and one day I'm going through my closet and grab the top to move it out of the way, but it falls. I pick it up, and find that it isn't torn anymore. No sign that it was ever damaged to start with! TL;DR = Shirt I never bought mysteriously appeared in my closet and years later mysteriously repaired itself as though it had never been torn. Another, this time creepy: In the same apartment, still living alone. I didn't have any neighbors to either side of me at the time. The walls were thick enough I couldn't hear much from the neighbor above me, and I was on the ground floor. Apartment was tucked away in a quiet spot, shaded with trees. Rarely saw or heard anyone out there except my friend Brooke, who sometimes visited. One day, I'm asleep and this man's voice YELLS right in my ear, shouting "WAKE UP!" I wake up, primed to defend myself from an attacker, but there's nobody. Nobody in the house, nobody outside my window, door was closed and locked, as was the window. Brooke had shouted at me through the windows before, and even awake I could barely hear those shouts, despite the fact she can get very loud. I didn't own a TV, my CD player was unplugged and across the room anyway, and my computer was off and in another room. I was on edge the rest of the day, had to fill the house with noise to try to keep the heebie-jeebies away.
I once was dropped off at the cinema with my ex by his dad, as we walked in I checked the time on my phone and then we went to watch the movie. In the middle of the movie, my phone had completely vanished and I couldn't find it and I was freaking out (I always keep it in my right pocket and my wallet in my left), we searched everywhere and it was just gone. Then his dad arrived and said that my phone was in his car and handed it to me. Odd experience
@@wrldwidemike5214 Honestly, when you have taken some psychedelic truffles, mushrooms, DMT, LSD or even MDMA (large dosis) you will start to question our own reality when being in a normal state. When taking truffles for example you have an improved eyesight, hearing, smell, taste (water tasted DELICIOUS), touch and even the capacity to listen to two people at the same time (neurogenesis). I even remember being able to see music based on colors when I closed my eyes. That became my reality for a few hours and was way different to people who haven't taken it. I was also able to things with my body that I could not do before (Stretching my legs completely out, moving my fingers way more rapidly than I use to do). Your brain tries to interpret the world around us, but it doesn't mean it is the true reality. Colors are interpretation of wavelenghts for example. Those colors do not truly exist, it's your brain hallucinating that reality. Some people are even able to "see" different scents through visualizations. To conclude: our reality is the consensus created by the masses and is still a subjective notion by our species. We are not capable to understand what reality truly is and it will remain a DEEP philosophical question for eons to come.
one time me, my brother, our parents, and some of our friends went on a road trip to florida and after coming back to the hotel from disney world our friends realized some money had been missing. we call the hotel people to come up and investigate the door and towards the end one guy that hadn’t left was reading a paper to us. i was just barely listening looking at the floor, and suddenly i hear him repeat the same sentence in the same exact voice. i look around to see if anyone else caught it but as i was looking around i realize everyone’s just frozen, not moving at all just looking at the guy. i look over at him as he’s still repeating the sentence for the third time and realize he’s completely frozen too, only his mouth moving. he repeats it another couple times in the exact same voice everyone still frozen giving me the wierdest feeling until i got the biggest relief in my life when it finally broke. i’m never gonna forget those 15-20 seconds. edit: one of the stories in the video gave me the idea that i had relived the exact same moment 4-6 times
25:52 Something very similar happened to me and my friends when we were all about 17-18, and it is the only time I have ever experienced something to this effect. The summer after I graduated high school, my two friends and I would occasionally go out for afternoon bicycle rides. One day we are riding our bikes around town in the middle of the day, around 2pm. It’s a beautiful day, warm, sunny, not a cloud in the sky. A few minutes into our ride, the sky flickers bright white, like lightning. No thunder though. I was confused as it was clear weather. Neither of my friends seemed to notice, so I figured I just imagined it. Then a few seconds later it happens again, only this time it’s much brighter, lasts longer, and it is accompanied by a strange sound. Not thunder, but more of an electrical buzzing/humming sound. This time both of my friends notice it. They both look up and say something like “what the hell was that?” The next thing I know, like a split second later, it is night time. Not pitch black but twilight and the sun is setting. We all immediately stop, get off our bikes and look at each other, confused. I check my phone and it is a few minutes after 8pm. The three of us then spend a good 20 minutes talking and trying to figure out what the actual hell just happened to us, until my one friend gets upset and says she wants to go home because she is freaked out. We all decide to go home. When I get home I ask my parents how long I’ve been gone. They said I was gone the whole day, but to me, barely an hour had passed since I left. They didn’t believe me, and I just went to bed. My friends and I talked the next day, and they both remembered the events from the previous day exactly as I had remembered them. We were riding our bikes together through town, saw weird flashes in the sky, and then traveled 6 hours into the future. That was 16 years ago. To this day, we still occasionally bring it up when we hang out, and we have never been able to come up with a rational explanation for what happened. TL;DR I went for a bike ride, and I either time traveled six hours into the future, or was abducted by aliens.
When I was about 5 this happened. My parents where watching tv in their bedroom while I was in the living room playing with toys. I had no Idea what they were watching. Then all of a sudden a random word came to mind. I don't remember now what the word was but at the time I felt this weird urge to go and tell my parents the word. So I walk into their room and see they are watching Wheel of Fortune. I think nothing of it and tell them this word. Then my dad had a confused look on his face that quickly turned to shock. Somehow that word was the exact answer to the board on wheel of Fortune. We still talk about it to this day.
I remember my parents watching the lottery draw on the telly while I was sitting on the floor, not really paying attention to any of it. I was about five years old. They were just about to draw the last number, when I announced that it would be the number 10. It was. My lucky number was 10 for a couple of years afterwards.
@@MLNISMJ Yeah, I know, I just thought it was a fun one. :) I definitely don't think I was psychic or something but my child brain definitely went "woah" for a second.
When I was 5 years old there use to be a picture of my great grandma ❤️ hanging on the wall next to the restroom, for a very long time (maybe 2 years) I found out soon enough she had passed away and later that day, I'm walking past about to use the restroom, and the picture was gone but I didn't question it, so I used the restroom and came out my father was hanging that picture in the same spot and I asked my dad, "why did you move the picture from it's spot" and my father had a strange look to his face and it felt different the way he looked at me like he wasn't my dad I saw a different man but it's him, And then he says what are you talking about we barely got this picture for her to hang here and simply walked away like someone called him back. Edit: Also my Father till this day does not remember that moment. And I never told anyone else
so did u tried questioning your family about the time period of what they think of picture being hung like do they believe it was there since ever or they placed it after your gran died?
This isn’t really “creepy” at all, just kinda weird, and i’m not even sure this counts, but here goes: I had a friend in 3rd grade. He was a good kid. Also in the same grade as me. 7th grade, I had a new friend. He was a grade above me. Also a good kid. Weird thing is, he looked, acted, and sounded EXACTLY the same as my 3rd grade friend. But he had a different name. And did not recognize me when we first met in 7th grade. It was a different kid that was pretty much exactly the same as a past friend I had.
North Wynd33 that’s happened to me before!! I had a friend and I knew him from head start until I was in the 2nd grade. I moved to a new school the beginning of my 3rd grade. About half way into the school year, a boy was placed in my class. I called him by my friend’s name thinking it was him, but it wasn’t . He thought I was crazy when I said that he reminded me of my friend. I bought in my old yearbook to show everyone I wasn’t crazy. At the end of the year I invited both of my friends to meet each other. Their parents were shocked to see someone who looked like their son standing in front of them.
@@liyahonthemove I never met this girl but apparently there used to be girl in my teens and early 20s that people would mistake for me and vic versa. She lived a few neighborhoods away. She has an Russian accent. There's a lot of Russian immigrants in this area so that's no biggie. People would tell me that they'd met me before and ask if I was Russian, kinda confused. People who knew me ran into her. Always in the same neighborhood. They thought she was me until they got really close to her. Including my ex boyfriend and his dad. Who knew me pretty well. They literally had to get right up to her, before they reali8. She had slightly darker hair from what I heard. I haven't heard about her in years...maybe she moved.
One of these happened to me- I'm pretty sure I have this thing called "Alice in Wonderland syndrome", and it all started with this nightmare I had when I was younger. In the nightmare I was in my bedroom, but I couldn't see the floor and I was just spinning to look at the walls like I was a camera on a tripod. Instead of my actual walls though it was just a blank wall with a long window that had the blinds shut. The walls appeared to be getting smaller even though they were staying the same size: basically, my mind was saying that the walls were changing in size when my eyes saw the walls as staying the same size. After that nightmare I've started to have experiences in the real world (more of them recently) where I'd be looking at something or doing something and all of a sudden I'd shrink or the thing would get really, really big. A few days ago I was in math class and we were doing a worksheet and I looked at it and all a sudden my mind was like "Yeah this is 20X the size it should be" and I just sat there in confusion bc the paper was really freakin big but I could move my pencil across it like you would a normal paper. Needless to say, I was unable to do the worksheet. Does anyone else have AIWS experiences to share?
I used to get this sort of thing quite frequently as a kid. I'd be laying in bed, looking around the dark room, sort of feeling like everything was larger and smaller, at the same time. It can also happen spontaneously while reading text for an extended period of time. It's the strangest feeling ever, and it's VERY noticeable when you finally snap out of it!
I get both sleep paralysis and Alice In Wonderland pretty often. Both are such awful feelings. The sense of proportion of my own body goes absolutely haywire
Sometimes I get it too... i can hear people talking... well one time i "think talked" back and said who are you and the voice goes GOD SAID DONT TALK TO ME... and i was like k then I'm terrified now
I was on the bus with my friend who gave me rides home. I get up from my seat and start singing a random song then stop. We get in the car and the radio picks up from where I left off.
Weirder stuff has happened to me, so much stuff in fact I could write a book about it, but that is the closest I have to a doppelganger story.
a year or two ago, me and my friend was in a bookstore and then we saw a book and on the cover of that book was a person that looked exactly like my friend. we just stod there in like twenty minutes and where like

She had to take over your cats body to visit her sister or something fam

My friend was telling me the contact details for someone so that I could call the next week.

@Chicken Noodle Soup you just blew my mind lol
One day when i was in first grade this happened: a soon as got off the bus and walked into the classroom, i knew exactly everything that was going to happen on that day. No kidding. I knew what assignments the teacher would do for that day ahead of time, what events were about to happen moments before they happened. It seemed as if i had lived that day before. I still remember that day 40 some years later. It felt like Deja Vu turned up to the max. and lasted all day, weird.
@Adithya Nair Yes. The homework she completed was assigned that day. It was so weird.

It's not exactly crazy to believe that some people have dreams of the future.
Oh my god, I got a good few stories: so back when I was young, I lived in an apartment, I had a dream where I was playing a online game, I knew it was a dream, so I tried reading a sign saying “you are safe here, no worries,” then a faceless person came running at me and attacked me, 10 years later the same situation, but it wasn’t a online game, I was working in a store as a cashier, I looked up and saw the same sign, then I saw someone running at me with a visible knife, I side stepped out of the way, then everyone looked at me and asked what was wrong, I said someone just tried to attack me, they looked confused and said that nobody should be here, it is closing, just get back to counting the cash registers, the next day, there was a report at that store that someone was attacked with a knife, it was the same time instead of it being night it was day time, the guy did not survive the attack, the employees said it was the first attack in a good few months, I told them that I was attacked the last night, they said that I wasn’t scheduled to work at that time
10 years later? Fuck I can't remember my dream from last night. How many more years since have passed?

I feel like most glitches predicting certain moments earlier than usual. I read somewhere that our bodies have a short delay in reacting to stimuli so to compensate our brains try to predict events as they’re happening. So Like the guy saw the kid kick the ball before he actually did. His brain predicted and created a scenario a second too early and was very noticeable
my mom told me a story about how when she was in high school she and her friends were driving on a highway in the middle of the night and how my mom was in the passenger seat and as they are going up a hill my mom got a crazy bad feeling and told them to pull over to the side of the road and they said no at first and she told then again and they pulled over only a few seconds later a car came speeding head-on towards them going 100 and if they haven't pulled over to the side of the rode they would have been hit head-on and all would have been killed
that's more of a gut feeling story

Always remember, if you hear a relative's voice calling your name when you're alone/no one's there, never respond. This means whatever it is, is trying to mimic their voice and answering will let it know it's getting better.
This is by far the creepiest comment on this page.

I remember Christmas when I was very young, the very next day was New Year's Eve, as if I had just skipped 7 days.
If you were around 3 it may have been your memory developing otherwise if you were 5 it might just be that your brain only thought certain memories( idk fireworks and gifts and more people) were worth remembering, if not idk
Memory conjunction
Could just be your little kiddo brain being like 'I'm bored lol'
That happens in Australia every year, everyone just gets drunk as fuck and wakes up a week later
Those Christmas cookies will do that to you.
I was around 5 when all I remember is I guess I was dreaming but it felt so real I was living at my old house I didn’t know anything about the house I live in now at the time bc I never been their before so I wouldn’t know anything about the roads and houses , the dream was that I was in the car and my mom was just driving us “home” which is where I live now and then I see a couple on the side of the road (everything in the dream looked exactly how it does ) and my mom said something like “that’ll be you one day when you’re a teenager” and I just woke up from it in the house that I lived in with my mom and dad (they were never together after I was born so idk why he was their lol) and I remember a fight happened between them and we went to that house but I never saw the couple and it was weird to me
Jacci Murphy that’s also the earliest memory I know I just woke up to that
Same happened to me. Creepy.
same happened to me when I was like 4/4.5 yrs old

story of my life
I don’t think that’s a glitch. It happens to me all the time, like right now ...
Wow..that's a proper glitch..I think you managed to see the sun get accidentally turned off.

Whoa.

After a while I woke up from my main dream and noticed the exact same foggy window. I mentally freaked out for a while, but looking back I think I may have overreacted.
I had a dream within a dream once but I don't recall what it was about. It was cool though. Thanks for sharing.
Well kinda a glitch
This happened to me all the time, like you're in between reality and a dream.
It's a pity you don't have the receipt from then.
Sounds like some serious temporary memory loss
That’s not what depersonalization is like; I’d get a brain scan if I were you. It sounds like you might be having some brain trouble.
This sounds like Dissociative Personality Disorder, an ex of mine had it (though I never did witness it). I suggest going to consult a professional.
A bunch of these stories look like reincarnation. Remembering past lives. Dreams can tell the future.
I guess Hinduism is real after all? Hahah jk
WITCHCRAFT?
That happens with me sometimes. once i had a dream where my school's genorator exploded, then the next day at school is did.

Never mind just found the two different parts

But 33:37 and 56:46 can we just take a moment to look at how similar these stories are

I feel like they're from the same author but yes I had the same wtf moment

This kinda happened to me.
30:43 Scary music is finally gone phew
I once was dropped off at the cinema with my ex by his dad, as we walked in I checked the time on my phone and then we went to watch the movie. In the middle of the movie, my phone had completely vanished and I couldn't find it and I was freaking out (I always keep it in my right pocket and my wallet in my left), we searched everywhere and it was just gone. Then his dad arrived and said that my phone was in his car and handed it to me. Odd experience

Honestly, when you have taken some psychedelic truffles, mushrooms, DMT, LSD or even MDMA (large dosis) you will start to question our own reality when being in a normal state.
That's....really freaky.

I had a friend in 3rd grade.

I'm pretty sure I have this thing called "Alice in Wonderland syndrome", and it all started with this nightmare I had when I was younger.
