I've tried this crap 2 years ago before with a cattle trailer, Chassis Saver, SprayIt 1.7mm siphon gun, and an old Champion 30 gal. air compressor. It only managed to spray half of the rear door before running out of air. I spent most of my time waiting on the compressor to refill. Ended up using my Fuji turbine system that I use for woodworking since I had no other options at the time and it worked out better than the SprayIt LVLP kit. I hate that you had that bad experience with the SprayIT and glad you found something that worked for you until you got the 60gal compressor setup…I also appreciate you for the heads-up on the company service I myself have never dealt with them but if I have to in the future I know what to expect…Thanks again Weaver Cattle Company!

WOW...Proof it can be done with no BS. Love your approach to this. I bought the gun and am practicing panels first. Now I know if it doesn't work, it's me. Thank you.
The folks that say it can't be done either don't know enough, or charge big dollars for a paint job. Excellent video. I'll be doing my 93 Z24 soon with an 8gal compressor, some water/oil filters, and some single stage. Two tone is also a good option for a small compressor setup as you can split up the spray time.

I have owned a Sprayit 3300. It was a great gun BUT after four paint jobs the inner teflon bushing for the needle started leaking and I was unable to get any parts for it. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone. Just be aware of issue after a couple of uses.
Did you use it doing 4 complete jobs when it started leaking? I myself have used it 3 times now and definitely will keep this in mind and appreciate you letting me know about this
@@UndergroundPaintKing yes unfortunately it did. But it was definitely a good gun. Not sure if the 3300 has better parts. I do play to purchase another one for small jobs. I used a Tekna copper now GREAT GUN!!
I bought the Fortress 27gal 200PSI air compressor today from Harbor Freight. They even gave me a free air impact gun. $120 gun. SMH. They're stepping up. I think I'm set now. I think the A610 will run fine. Been watching your videos. Thanks for always hitting me up in the comments. You're bringing back the love I had for painting in my Air Force days. I'm gonna work on building myself a nice spray booth next. Thinking about flipping utility trailers to grab some extra cash. Work my way up. You do good work, bro.
I appreciate you SGT Rickards and you got a nice package deal 💯 let me know your thoughts on the A610 and I hope the channel continues to be helpful to you in anyway possible ❗️Welcome Back💪🏾
Damn bruh, I'm glad I found your channel. I've learned more watching you and sprayway customs in the past month, than all the big shots channels in years. My hat's off to you brother, I wish you all the success in the world.
SprayWray is awesome and so is UPK. Pharraway is great too. Also check out True Gritt. Not really a 'how to' channel, but he does some crazy pearl combinations that are great inspiration.
Thank you for putting this out, i couldnt find anything anywhere that told me i didnt have to invest thousands into tools for what is likely a 1 time project. Great content man.
This a proven fact that you don’t have to have a expensive air compressor or a expensive paint gun to get the job done.shout out to you🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾you help me and others to see this live🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Oh yeah you definitely can get the job done without expensive equipment!…I appreciate you checking out the video and I do my best to help my people out with the content 💯🤛🏾
Thanks for sharing this knowledge. I thought I needed a 60 gallon $compressor $ but 30 will do. I am going to spray a 2015 Dodge Challenger rear quarter panel with my 30 gallon compressor. No excuses gotta get my project done. I have hope now 🙏 thanks
I've been binge watching your videos. After watching another painters' channel. He's got a million dollar booth and arsenal of paint guns that cost more than my cars. You just get it done! I've been using the old Harbor freight pro gun for projects for 10 years. I normally shoot single stage urethane and it does a great job. But I'm on the fence now to get that Spectrum or Get the Astro. I see these other guys with booths and fancy climate controls and $800 guns they have orange peel, fisheyes, and dirt nibs everywhere. You spray in your little garage and it looks like glass. I did the roof of my 63 GMC panel truck in my driveway under a canopy. Great channel! You are the U.P. King!
Thanks I really appreciate you for this comment because I really try to show people that you can have quality work done by you yourself and not have to have all the fancy equipment that others say you have to have…again I appreciate you checking out the videos and I hope they help in any way possible!!!
I was wondering if I could paint my whole truck with my 21 gallon air compressor and was wondering what kind of gun do I need. But after watching this video I believe I can and I believe I figure out what gun to get. Thank for the video and the paint job looks absolutely beautiful. I just hope I can get my truck to turn out that good aswell.
Looking real nice I painted a 1964 Impala those low volume gravity-fed guns are good it does the work real nice just like your Tahoe it came out real good.
Great video I bought a 3300 come with 3 different spray tips primer sealer base coat and clear coat doing a vw bug you took all the doubts away Great color! YOU ROCK
Thanks I appreciate you checking out the video…I need to get that kit so I can have the other tips as well and I’m glad the video helped in any way possible!
So good, and thanks for taking on a real challenge for that setup with that big truck. I've got a similar size compressor with plans to paint a '91 Land Cruiser. Was looking at 4-stage HVLP turbines but with careful planning this is totally doable at about 1/10 the cost! Thank you!
Thanks for making this video, I have been spending countless hours researching compressors form my HVLP and did not want to spend 1 k on a 220 v compressor. Now it makes sense instead to buy a LVLP/
Great demonstration and results! Thanks again for the review on the Spectrum Paint System. Picked up a "starter" set and both adapters and am pleased with both value and quality level. Keep up the great work!!!
i watched ya last vid ordered this gun opened it on my channel couple days ago live after seeing this i wanna have me another one on deck lol and the money i would spend on a larger compressor i can buy some paint :-)
I can't upgrade the electrical in my house enough to run a bigger compressor. I have the same compressor. It's good to see you don't have to stop every time the compressor kicks on. Great video.
Good timing for me to find your video. I need to paint my boat trailer and I was thinking about getting one of those expensive Fuji turbine setups, and then I remembered the SPRAYIT SP-33000 I bought 7 or 8 years ago for painting guitars, people get good results painting cars with these guns. If you can get results like this on a huge Tahoe, this gun and my 26 gallon compressor can handle a bass boat trailer! Thanks!
UPK back at it.! 🔥🔥🔥🔥Showing you a real painter compensates no matter the gun or set up to get that same good result! Props man. Those Tahoes are a lot bigger in person.
You my friend got a new subscriber!.. 👏🏽👍🏽 looks good now I need help finding out the measurements on how much reducer and paint and clear coat to use I would I appreciate that’s where I need the help of you have video of that already please link it on my conversation thank you
I appreciate you subscribing to the channel and I do have a video that may help you th-cam.com/video/GU1XFq6SWDY/w-d-xo.html How you mix your paint and clear depends on the brand that you go with and their mix ratio for their products so just check the label of the products or get tech sheets with the information on how to mix
And I’d like to add that the equipment is not what makes you good at this. It definitely helps but these results are 100% because this man has taken time he’s prepared the vehicle before the paint job i personally detrim vehicles but the point is take your time do the steps and prep yourself before you shoot amazing job my guy 🤘🤘🤘
You’re right and I like to break vehicles down also but you get some customers that don’t want to pay for everything…but if you take your time you can get great results and if you have even better equipment you can get better results so the point I’m trying to get across is no matter what level you are on you can still do this kind of work…I appreciate you checking out the video 💯🤛🏾
Great job. I especially like your style of production. Coherent without rambling on like a lot of videos. Thank you, I have been hunting used compressors with at least 10 cfm. The cost is to high for me. I am going to mimic your equipment to paint my pickup. I think the bed in one section, the feont in another. Best wishes to you!
Looks great, and the compressor did the job. I've got to get a new compressor to replace my 35 year old Craftsman 30gallon/5hp(B.S.) compressor I bought new way back in the late 80's. I've got a 2 car garage and for almost everything a 30 gallon does a great job but I'd like to paint my Chevelle sometime in the next few years so nice to know a 30 gallon will do the job without stepping up to a 60 gallon which would be kind of a pain to install/move and I don't really need it for anything.
Yeah Tom, if you’re not planning on doing a ton of work and you just have a project that you want to finish, then a small compressor setup is definitely the way to go in my opinion and saves you money. I appreciate you checking out the video!
Great stuff! I painted my MR2 (admittedly a tiny car) with a 20 year-old 33 gallon Craftsman compressor. Filtration is huge, since the compressor is going to run a lot and the heat will cause condensarion in the tank. There are lots of good videos on TH-cam about how to build copper cooling manifolds. Definitely worth the trouble.
Hey man I've been using the same compressor for years And it'sade me alot of money, but I did ad a water trap and oil separator to it, I've never got water in my lines in almost 10 years and over 100 paint and mechanic jobs. But man you did a great job!!
Thanks I appreciate you!…I don’t usually use the small compressor to paint so I definitely should have had things set up better but I definitely will have something set up for next time…again I appreciate you checking out out the video
I bought that gun about 2 year's ago to spray hydro dip activator, With my 10gallon husky. I couldn't believe the spray pattern and the fit/feel for the $$. Long story short, I turned this bad boy to my clear gun for my hydro dipped part's. One thing I noticed out the box was the plastic ring behind the air cap, only cheap thing on the gun. But I didn't get scared, SHARPE FINEX 3000 which is little a hundred dollars has the same similar plastic O ring! My man great work, only been here couple months subbed, but hooked! Uu, sprayway, phharway, lakeside ,gritts outta bama, jr outta tex, couple other's!! Got thatt content!
Bro for the money you wouldn’t expect this gun to be this nice! I appreciate you not only checking my channel out but also checking out and supporting my other comrades…thanks bro!
very nice job bro I can give you an an ideal that i have used for years take about 12ft of air holes and run it from your compressor to an over head rafter or something that will make a loop up high plus i add a filter in the line up high with a drain this helps keep the water out of your gun Just a ideal you might consider have a great day
Was it you that had a motorguard filter in your home set-up?. I had a 2 stage filter with desiccant beads, but added the motorguard filter near my paint room. Now i'm not seeing any water coming thru so pretty happy with it so far👍👍👍
Got two other lvlp spray guns now one for clear 1.3 and one for primer 1.7 will be a while but some stuff on Ali Express you can get from USA. Never used a lvlp spray gun but with the compressor got at home it will be better since only have a less than 30 gallon air compressor. Still gonna paint my truck though with the electric spray gun got that has multiple tip sizes on it like 1.2, 1.5 I think maybe a 1.8 too. Thought would of started but still trying to get the last part of the garage cleaned and gonna get rid of these empty boxes in the backyard which were in the garage too. And more scrap got when some stuff that didn't need. I be glad when I leave Michigan because the job I work at now I really don't want to be here anyway auto painting and detailing is what I want to do just gonna keep doing it so can keep on getting better. I know it only been a year since the first time I painted before that didn't turn out good but want to get better. But I have a lot more auto detailing tools now too.
Very nice! You proved your point! One thought: in a future video, you could have the camera located away from you, to show how your arm/body moves as you apply the paint. Thanks again for a great video demonstration.
Thank you so much for this. I'm just a home guy and didn't want to commit to a overspending on a compressor to paint a car. You earned my sub. Can't wait to see more.
You’re welcome and I appreciate you for subscribing to the channel!…I’m doing my best to show people that you can accomplish nice work without the big shop setup and the expensive tools
Just got some color blender today to blend in these spots on my truck I knew about color blender last year but never used a product to do it but never used a reducer either but got some now. I don't know if I will go to school once move to Texas for auto painting but my brother said don't got to be certified there just in the desert where will be living is a ways from the jobs there about 26 miles from the nearest city which is a ways but I lived in the country when was a kid but not on a area that had more than 50 acres just 5 acres. But rattlesnakes, scorpions bobcats and something named a oscolot out there. But it still depends after when my brother wife get out of college this year supposed to be December unless she finishes early. I just hope it works out this time because I did live in California once years ago but ended up moving back here.
Yeah Bro, when I say My FIRST. I mean LITERALLY my first time spraying a vehicle. And I have learned that the BETTER your Surface Prep the better your chances of getting a good result!!
Couple months ago you talked about the spectrum HVLP, Harbor Frieght had a sale for 100 dollars I took your advice and bought it, tried it out clearing a front bumper the other day and it did a excellent job. Also took your tip about using microfiber clouth to wipe down base coat before spraying clear. Thanks so much for helping out with your vidios.
Dude this thing is the truth! My compressor was refilling as I sprayed with it (Kobalt Quiet Tech 26 gal). Took a little adjusting between base, intercoat and clear, but it's pretty good! My only complaint is the tiny cup, but for the price it's fair! Painting the rest of the car when we get another warm day!
Hey ,well yesterday i painted 2 bumpers covers ,hood ,fender in basecoat clearcoat and again I have to agree with u ,this lvlp is awesome not much orange peel and was mirror like shine!!!
Just stumbled upon youre chanel OG. Love that you straight to the point. i was just about to go buy a 60 gallon compressor this weekend to get my side hustle started until i saw this video.keep up the good work god bless
You should also Check our California air tools compressors.. I’ve since got an 8 gal aluminum tank, and a portable 11 gallon aluminum tank and hooked them together, so 19’gal and it’s quiet to where you can talk normally and not mind the noise
Usually, with a hvlp gun, you would create a huge overspray cloud that you can hardly see through. The Low Velocity gun creates no overspray cloud. Although his compressor never stopped running once it started. The result was a very professional paint job.
Awsome video, I have a 21 gal compressor and was going to buy a new 30 gal to paint my '77 truck. great job, the Tahoe looked fantastic. Thanks for posting.
I got a lvlp spray gun today from Ali Express with a 1.4 tip and it had the PPG adapter with it. Wasn't much though about 49 dollars I just decided to get it because the ratings it was a 5 out of 5 stars. The air compressor is under 30 gallons got so it will be better on it. Am close to ready to paint my truck now had to clean the garage out and about done with it I am still gonna use the electric spray gun got from Amazon but in future will use the lvlp spray gun.
Awesome man! Answered all my answers! Will be investing in a LVLP spray gun, a 10 gallon husky compressor for smaller jobs. Really appreciate it with all the great tips. Watched alot of videos on thei but yours got me to the right conclusion, cheers🇨🇦🍻
Hell yeah!! Wanting to paint my old mustang but compressor size was a big hurdle with my budget! Im sold! So that gun and compressor is a good setup! On my list. Thanks for the video, good shit!

SprayWray is awesome and so is UPK. Pharraway is great too. Also check out True Gritt. Not really a 'how to' channel, but he does some crazy pearl combinations that are great inspiration.

Nice job 🤠

What results did you get? I’m trying to paint mine too
I was wondering if I could paint my whole truck with my 21 gallon air compressor and was wondering what kind of gun do I need. But after watching this video I believe I can and I believe I figure out what gun to get. Thank for the video and the paint job looks absolutely beautiful. I just hope I can get my truck to turn out that good aswell.

So good, and thanks for taking on a real challenge for that setup with that big truck. I've got a similar size compressor with plans to paint a '91 Land Cruiser. Was looking at 4-stage HVLP turbines but with careful planning this is totally doable at about 1/10 the cost! Thank you!

i watched ya last vid ordered this gun opened it on my channel couple days ago live after seeing this i wanna have me another one on deck lol and the money i would spend on a larger compressor i can buy some paint :-)
Definitely can go that route and save you some money and put it towards your paint
I can't upgrade the electrical in my house enough to run a bigger compressor. I have the same compressor. It's good to see you don't have to stop every time the compressor kicks on. Great video.
Definitely keeps consistent air flow so you can definitely get the job done with a small set up!
Thanks!
You’re welcome and you’re right it’ll handle your boat trailer no problem!
UPK back at it.! 🔥🔥🔥🔥Showing you a real painter compensates no matter the gun or set up to get that same good result! Props man. Those Tahoes are a lot bigger in person.

How you mix your paint and clear depends on the brand that you go with and their mix ratio for their products so just check the label of the products or get tech sheets with the information on how to mix

Gracias, te agradezco que hayas comprobado el vídeo!
Thanks again man, just got the summit gun with this exact compressor, all under 200 bucks!
Nice!…I hope the videos are helpful!
Enough talk, UPK you sold me with this great video! A lot of us appreciate your, info, hard work and dedication to this craft...

I painted a 72 Monte Carlo two tone candy with that gun...came out great
Nice💪🏾 that spray gun has never let me down!
Thanks GoalieLife I appreciate you checking out the video and I agree that having the right filtration system is worth it!
@@UndergroundPaintKing Thank you for the video!

I appreciate you not only checking my channel out but also checking out and supporting my other comrades…thanks bro!
very nice job bro I can give you an an ideal that i have used for years take about 12ft of air holes and run it from your compressor to an over head rafter or something that will make a loop up high plus i add a filter in the line up high with a drain this helps keep the water out of your gun Just a ideal you might consider have a great day
Thanks Dean I appreciate you and your idea and gonna work on my setup!
Was it you that had a motorguard filter in your home set-up?.
I had a 2 stage filter with desiccant beads, but added the motorguard filter near my paint room. Now i'm not seeing any water coming thru so pretty happy with it so far👍👍👍
Yeah Bear, I’m using it at my home setup, it works well!
Thanks Super Bear I appreciate you checking out the video and I’ll definitely put a video together!

Usually, with a hvlp gun, you would create a huge overspray cloud that you can hardly see through. The Low Velocity gun creates no overspray cloud. Although his compressor never stopped running once it started. The result was a very professional paint job.
