Another great job with the LVLP and small compressor!!! YOU ARE SAVING ALOT OF PEOPLE MONEY giving us the confidence to do paint jobs ourselves!!!.... YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
Thanks Mike I appreciate that and appreciate you!…I do my best to help my people save money and do paint work themselves and be confident at it and that’s what this channel is all about!
Another great job on the black car with a complete paint job. What gun did you use to paint the complete base coat clear coat? It looked like a lot of overspray. Was it a R500
It cost me money. I hadda buy an air compressor after I bought the paint gun then all the supplies then I messed the job up. Lmao JK I hoping for the best hopefully I don't botch the job too bad. It's a small car atleast
Definitely saved me a lot of money. I've spent about the same amount of money on spray cans before. Now I got an air compressor, air hose, air tools like paint guns etc.. instead of paying a fortune to have a civic painted i now own all the things to do it. I can't wait to spray the car. I'll let y'all know how it goes. Still prepping now. Prep work is a pain but worth it.
@UndergroundPaintKing is it cool to keep spraying when the compressor cycles on like in the video while actively spray or should I pause until it cycles off. Cause it cause issues like orange peel or any other unwanted defects
Thanks Pharraway I appreciate you as always and the main point I try to make with the videos is that anybody and everybody can do paint work no matter what level of the paint game you’re at because the big setups and nice guns have their place to for those individuals doing a lot of work 💯
I've always shot paint with cheap 25-30 gallon air compressors full paint jobs and blends. Alot of painters Wana say you have to use the big 80 and up but any good painter can get away with doing it with smaller compressors..it's all about the painter knowing his shit..good job!
Another beautiful job by the UPK! As a retired 30 year bodyman I love to watch you lay down the glass. This video shows what can be accomplished on a low budget but it also takes some skill behind the trigger. Keep up the good work and thanks for the video.
Thanks ems 911 and you’re absolutely right that this work can be done on a low budget and I try to help out with the skill part so people can be confident when they get started…I really appreciate you and it’s always good to hear from someone with much more time and experience than me!
Dang UPK you got the small compressor, LVLP game on lock. That's why you are the Peoples Champ. Thanks for all your time and knowledge and giving us the confidence to do this ourselves. Thanks again UPK. 👍👍💯
You killed it again with the small compressor and an LVLP - nice job UPK, thanks for continually putting out videos that are relatable to us DIY weekend warriors 👍👍
After watching the first video I bought one. Works awesome. I tried to buy another one and they are out of stock everywhere. Thanks for sharing King you the man!
The SprayIT is back in stock I believe Stephen if you’re looking to get another one and I’m glad the videos helped with you getting yourself one…I appreciate you checking out the videos!
You are truly talented sir. Some "professionals" in dealership settings can't do that good. What a pro and point made about compressor size. It's all about putting your minded to it. My uncle was a self thought guitar player I had never really heard him play but he had some nice ones sitting around. I had a cheap kids guitar and I took it to him and ask if he could tune it. Well he did in about 3 minutes then he rang out wild wood flower on it like nothing I had heard before. I never learned to play but I am sure it was nothing to do with the guitar.
This is exactly what needed to see to start my painting business in my home country (Africa) with a small compressor like yours I wasn't sure of pulling off a paintjob lile you did..now I am confident that a small compressor can do...thanks a lot man!
I have 3 of my vehicles I want to paint on my own with no experience and seeing this video gives me hope, just trying to save as much money and do it myself due to these inflation prices , and shops quoting me a minimum of $2500 per car and that’s not including body work like filling in deep scratches and medium to minor dents.
Outstanding King! I watched every bit of the spraying and your techniques. It looks fantastic. I'm about to purchase my compressor in a few days. I will be spraying a guitar. I've got the R500 lvlp sprayer and I built a spray booth, and I'm ready to go. Wish me luck.
I’m glad the video helps Glenn and it’s definitely a good investment and good place to start if you’re new to the paint game…I appreciate you checking out the video!
The more I watch you paint in the way you make it break it down into such simple ways I'm about to try my own paint job. It looks great it looks awesome
Thanks Undray I appreciate that and appreciate you checking out the videos and glad they’re helpful…I do my best to make it simple so that if you or anyone else wants to do it, you can!
Painting the bumper on my wife's convertible. First time effort, but am ready to give it a try. You mentioned that you might do a bit of cleanup in a couple of spots. What cleanup are you suggesting? Cut and buff, or something more? I am Interested in how you got the Rendezvous badging to clean up. Appreciate the video...I enjoyed it!
I appreciate you watching the video and I honestly can’t remember what cleanup I was referring to, and as far as the badges, they were fine so I just reinstalled them

Everybody likes these small compressor cheap lvlp gun videos! And if it's a full paint job, even better👍 Nice job UPK👍 I like to use wide painters tape on the can, crossing the tape to make a pouring point. Kinda slows it down and helps keep me from making a mess like I would if I tried pouring straight oughta the paint can
Thanks Bear Budget I appreciate you as always and I always forget that trick when it’s time to pour paint but hopefully next time I’ll remember since we had this conversation…appreciate you checking out the video!
The paint trick works like a charm but I still mess it up sometimes lol! I get focused on pouring the right amount, reading the cup, and next thing I know, I have paint running up under the tape. A buddy 3d printed me a full 360 snap-on pour spout the other day. You can also buy some simple one that snap onto one side. They all have their pros and cons.
I think it looks great for any kind of paint job. Some might say good for a budget job. I just say overall it’s good. I’d be happy to push that around.
I leave this video with more questions then I had to begin with. What psi at the gun? What gun and where does it come from? What paint did you use? If you are going to teach you have to talk.
Appreciate you watching the video and all the information you’re looking for is in the video, I even mix up the paint that I’m using, don’t know how you missed it but I’ll work on the talking so I can teach part
Looks show room new to me. Great job UPK. I have a SprayIT gun and a 33 gal. compressor that I used to spray epoxy primer and high build primer on my antique car. I need to do some research on spraying single stage paint that I hope to use on it. Thank's I'm learning alot from your videos. God Bless.
That is a great paint for a real world scenario. Few DIY painters have a paint booth. I will risk to do the paint in a car port. Not sure what influence wind has to the paint. Hope not to drown too many mosquitos in the clear :-)

Always a fantastic job UPK! With these older vehicles say 20 years old etc, what do you use to refresh the plastic trims etc.? do you use a rattle can or like an auto detail product maybe? Classic cars it’s a non issue because they’re all metal, but with the 90s cars a new paint job brings out the weathering in the plastic that much more. I appreciate your videos !
Thanks Rusty Ryan I appreciate you checking out the videos and honestly I like to paint the old trim with flat paint which gives the vehicle a fresh look in my opinion
I have a suggestion. The way you paint the rockers (steady and slower speed) but add more consistency throught out the whole paint job. I believe it would give you some really good results. I see the inconsistency in how wet your spraying the whole time. Just my 2 cents. Consistency, speed and how wet it's flowing on are all I focus on while spraying. I gotta add o love the lvlp content you've put out. It has definitely helped me choose which route to go.
Nice paint job upk. Like the videos you do on tools and equipment that are affordable for the DIY person. And also like how you showed how to mix the paint. Great video my friend

Wow, UPK, she looks good 👍 and for a relatively lower dollar paint gun and 21 gallon, need to say that again, 21 GALLON compressor??? Damn'd good job, my man!!
I’m a diy guy and restoring a 1989 Formula Firebird. I noticed you don’t use a paint booth or wet the floors down when spraying base & clear. Don’t you get allot of junk in your paint/clear?.....I’ve been using a 3m pro spray gun for primer but just bought a spray it 2 gun kit on your recommendation. I really like the mini gun for jambs. Easy to get the gun into tight places. Haven’t used the big gun yet, just ordered a PPS 2 adapter for it. Thanks for the all the recommendations UPK....
I have a paint booth that I do still use which does help with trash and I really don’t wet the floor because I don’t get a lot of trash in the jobs that I do so wetting the floor could definitely help out even more…I haven’t tried the mini gun but I bet it works great for jambs and tight spots and let me know what you think of the big spray gun…I appreciate you checking out the videos and I hope they continue to help!
THANKS UPK,I AM TRYING TO GET ALL MY DUCKS IN ORDER,BEFORE I ACTUALLY SPRAY SOMETHING, I HAVE THE A610,JUST GETTING ALL MY MATERIALS TOGETHER, ALSO HAVE 20 GALLON COMPRESSOR, THANKS BRO.
that thing is glassy a lil reflection lol you super humble with it you know thats glass and black at that catching up on vids i had motorcycle accident so been down last 2-3 weeks
That wasn’t Grant 7s clear but it did turn out nice but would have been way better with Grant’s clear…and I agree she definitely needs some headlights lol!
I think W😃W! Couple of questions: I've was always told to paint the roof first, yet painters on YT always paint the lower parts first. Also, were those primer spots primer surfacer or primer sealer? And you didn't completely prime the car with sealer, so I assume it's not always necessary to primer seal the vehicle before painting??
Thanks Joseph I appreciate that…I started with the roof first but just didn’t show it all in the video since it was already a long video but I do like to start with the roof. 2nd those were sealer spots and not just primer surfacer but you can spray over most primer surfacers, so no sir you don’t always have to seal the whole vehicle!
Ok one more question 😂 I appreciate it is HP the same as CFm a lot of compressors I see don’t have the HP On it but has CFM and I’m trying to see how I figure out what the HP is from seeing Cfm
Nice. I started to paint once again. It's been a few years since the last time I painted. On your video after putting your blend on, did you tack the vehicle before completing your base? Also I used to start at the front and work my way around the vehicle. Did you start on the roof first? Thank you.
@@joelujan2201 good to hear you getting back into painting Joe❗️yes I tack everything before I fully base the vehicle and I started at the roof because I like to get my biggest area done first 💯

Amazing no water trap. Just a little filter on the hose.
Most small compressors get hot and they make water which comes out the paint gun.
I just keep the drain open slightly so it can drain while in use and a filter on the spray gun and I get good results with that

@@UndergroundPaintKing vet😅

WHAT'S UP UPK,QUESTION?,HOW LONG DOES THOSE RED FILTERS LAST
They can last a few jobs depending on how much they are being used, if water starts getting past it then obviously it’s time to change

Couple of questions:
I've was always told to paint the roof first, yet painters on YT always paint the lower parts first.
Ready for spokes and vogues!
@@CadillacUnautorthorizedservice it would look good with some mustard and mayonnaise ❗️
🔥🔥👍🏼 You definitely motivated me to spray my chevelle and my monte carlo
Glad I could motivate Fam💯💪🏾
Get you a few ez pours from Amazon for the gallon paints.
I’m gonna look into them Kenya I’ve seen them before but haven’t gotten one yet…appreciate the info!
@@UndergroundPaintKing yes zir
Ok one more question 😂 I appreciate it is HP the same as CFm a lot of compressors I see don’t have the HP On it but has CFM and I’m trying to see how I figure out what the HP is from seeing Cfm
Most compressors should show the hp of the motor which is different from the cfm that the compressor produces
Great job for that size compressor 😊
Thanks Stuart, I appreciate you checking it out 💯
Man, man, man, your the man! That came out looking nice! 💯 👌🏼 😎
Thanks Bro I appreciate that and appreciate you checking out the work 💯
Beautiful job Sir.
Thanks Sheldon, I appreciate you checking it out 🙏🏽💯
