    this was a popular concept in the 80's, but they used 3 different exercises, for different rep amounts, example...squats 3-4 sets of 4-6 reps, leg press 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps, leg extension 3-4 sets of 20-25 reps

      I think referring to the ABC system, and the "C" giant sets
      We have a bunch on those as well.

    Very nice! How does this apply when programming for powerlifting? How often should this be implemented with increasing strength in mind as the goal? My think is it might be useful at the beginning (ie hypertrophy phase) but I could be wrong. Re how often, would like to hear from you how often this should be implemented.

    How do you advise progressing this? Adding 5-10lbs to each set each week? I tried breakdowns on squats last week and loved it even if I nearly died doing 27 squats

    • @jailhousestrong
      @jailhousestrong  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Somewhere like that, I mean a solid 3 week block then cycle something else

    How frequent would you recommend this method or should I simply go by feel?

    • @jailhousestrong
      @jailhousestrong  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would do this once a week and a second day of legs if needed, I'd recommend lighter and not as intense on second day...............even doing thing likes BFR etc
