Great to see lower body with cable machine. I find there is a lot of upper body using cable so this is a nice change. I tried workout today and loved it … much harder than it looks as there is constant tension on each rep. Also started your program and I’m loving it! Thanks for your hard work and giving us that hourglass figure ❤
I find it amazing how just some little twikes makes the world of difference. For instance when I'm at the gym doing abductor and thigh machine just first sitting upright against back cushion then sitting forward makes a great difference and a great lovely burn. Lol

Erin a big hello from Dora in Australia. With your expertise, I have improved immensely with my workout. I'm staying pain free and feel fantastic ! 😊 thank you. Love your training.
She helped me a lot when I started training in my home gym. I am a COPDer and glad to have bought a cable machine. I'm a very blessed man with my Fitness equipment AND Erin my trainer 🤠

Great material Erin. I have a cable machine in my home for the reason you stated. People need to remember the machines at the gym are for everyone and not just one person.
Just want to say thank you so so much for this! I have a bad neck and I have really struggled with dead lifts and using a heavy (20kg+) for squats. I tried the first exercise today and wow the difference. No neck pain and I really felt all the muscles that I have as supposed to feel working ❤❤❤
Thank you, Erin for a complete leg workout! I love that I could stay on one machine and get it done :) Also, would you consider making a video for a lower body/knee-friendly workout for the gym or home? I have a meniscus tear in one knee that I am working on re-habbing right now. I appreciate you.
i truely love those exercises. Also, as an alternative to the regulat Deadlift I am really intersted to see, how i feel about these. Cause i have some lower back issues currently and therefore, this version seems to be lighter on the lower back because of the angle. i will give it a shot next time. thx for sharing, Erin
I love these exercises , And I love when you do these split series like this These are fantastic for me to be able to get all the muscles in And get a good leg workout in Trying to figure out some goodies out That seems to be my weak weakness
Love that recistant exercise which I kind of do at my home holding on to my leather livingroom chair hecause its sturdy enough then lean back and get some great squak action but leaning bk. Its great being creative with furniture in your house. Lol I exercise to holding my kitchen island and refrigerator and leaning bavk legs together and do ome of those od body builder exercises youve talked about. 😊
Omg Erin, I love you! Follower n gonna get your new cook book. I ask you why you choose Dymatize? I was long follower for muscle milk than switch to optimum nutrition. I just get my first dramatize keg. Tell me Erin why you endorse them. Better? ❤U, keep posting!
Great video, some more things for me to try in the gym. Always like seeing videos about exercises to help me build size. Your physique is amazing and inspiring, always wonder how you'd look if you went full body builder mode.
Wonderful routine! I've tried some of the other cable leg exercises in an previous video you had and I love them! Some new ideas in this one, adding the plates for example. I will incorporate them into my routines. Thank you Erin.
Hi Erin, I love your videos, but the first one you were doing looks like a squat and you are calling it a dead lift is that correct? There is no hinge at the hips
I've always gotten confused on what the perfect heart rate is or should be while working out. For example while walking on the step lift. Any advice please.
I just came across your video and want to do this, the only problem is in our community gym there isnt flat weights like that in there. What is something i can use to replace that, so i can have the elevation?
Watching the first exercise… what is the difference between this as a “deadlift” and a squat? Is it the use of the handles and weight in front of you? Or something in your posture?
I would take a list of the exercises to your primary physician or show them the video and ask them directly. Self care before the chance of any injury ♥💪
@erinstern5 Thank you so much Erin, and I will show this video to my Dr. Hope I still can do some of them. Good luck to you. You have a new subscriber 😊.
At about 1 minute and 48 seconds into the video, you're performing an exercise that appears more like a squat rather than what you're describing as a deadlift (specifically, the feet-elevated deadlift). It would be really helpful if you or someone from the audience could provide further explanation. Thanks!
I would agree for the movement in isolation, but bc of the tilted weight axis making it harder to involve any quads, I'd say it's more of a "deadliftey" type. Think about reverse hack squats in 45degrees for example, as a machine they're meant for squats but you can totally make it a solely glute/ham movement (bc the weight axis is tilted).
In addition to the angle, she’s also starting from the floor. You squat down from a high starting point and you lift up from a low. The same distinction is made between a deadlift and an RDL even when someone’s form can be similar in both if they have certain biomechanics
Mike you not right about low carbs the body will use fats not protein at first before using protien for energy on low carbs see Dr Ben bickman your boy will use 2hrams of protein to use two grams of protein per energy unit of carbs meaning it’s very expensive for your body to use protein as energy ketosis results using fat as energy but your right about when changing to carbs to do it slowly
So true don't be a machine hog. Last week someone literally left their gym bag between the two leg machines and working out in socks while he was standing their talking to his girlfriend oh and sneakers too. I like mentioned somewhat curtly Ah excuse me, "are you done". Apologies came from them but I'm like Really!.😮
In my opinion, Erin is the best trainer on TH-cam!!
For sure😊

I agree! Sometimes a few small adjustments make a world of difference 💪
Superset 1
1:26 feet elevated deadlift
3:01 toe elevated reverse pullthrough
Superset 2
4:02 sumo squat (raise notches)
5:16 single leg RDL (start with non-dominant leg)
Superset 3
6:32 front foot elevated split squat at 45 Degrees
8:10 calf raises (heavier weight)
Finisher
8:58 reverse alternating lunge elevated (go lighter/higher reps)
This is so helpful Erin! Most people have access to cables.
