      I love leg press, but barbell squats make me so nervous. I sprained a ligament in my foot from squatting, I would love to just do leg press while working on my form for squats.

      I agree! A whole series. My gym has very limited equipment and sometimes for the sake of time, I need to do a workout at home but want it to be good quality. This helps soooo much to ensure I am getting a variety of exercises and not missing out on anything due to lack of equipment!

    Erin, please do more of these. I really appreciated seeing the home versions since I am sometimes stuck with no other option. I also learned a lot from your explanations in detail of how to control the different segments of each exercise. Thank you!

    Love these alternatives, always loved using the leg press machine in the gym but now I’m not in the gym and working out from home, this alternative is perfect

    I’m 67 years young with 68 not too far away. For my 68 birthday I’ve started working on doing at least two squats with 250 lbs. Thank you for this video…I will be implementing several of these exercises into my leg routine…actually I do legs twice a week and often throw in a few leg exercises on any days routine.

Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.

    This is wonderful! I am a stay at home mom with a passion for lifting. We are blessed with a small home gym but we don’t have everything. A whole series of these videos would be such a blessing!!! Thank you for all of the hard work you do on this channel, it is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks for the encouragement by sharing that study. I'm focusing on going to failure.
    My husband and I workout at home. So lifting heavy enough is a challenge. I'm almost 60 and he is 62. He was a power lifter and I competed in 2 bodybuilding contests... many years ago. I keep telling my husband we are going to be better in our 60s than we were in our 50s! 😊 I like having your videos to learn from.

    Erin you have been such an inspiration for me! I have been working on my body for several years now. I am 46, 5-11 and down to 145lbs. Had Dexa scan last week and estimated body fat at 17%. I have built muscle on my frame. I found you several years ago and watch your videos and gotten so much information from them. Thanks you!

    Amazing! I can really see the muscle involved really activated. When I work out in the gym and see the guides in the machines, I’m very skeptical about the muscles targeted because I don’t feel the work on those muscles in performing the exercise.

    Tip for calf raise at home - i do that on the bottom step of my basement stairs so i can get a full stretch on the eccentric portion. Bonus tip: do it one leg at a time to instantly double the load with your body weight without the need of carrying any heavy dumbbells 💪

    This is an excellent video. I picked up a few cues and exercises I can use with my clients. I agree with some of the other comments, a series like this would be great. I'm a new trainer so I love learning anything new when it comes to fitness.

    Great workout video! I did it last night at the gym with the DB RDL. Only pain today is hamstrings and on the outside of the quads.

    Thank you for doing this. Just had an accident in the gym which will keep me out for 6 to 8 weeks and I am panicking with how to go about doing the proper exercises to hit lower body especially at home. This is perfect.
