I realized from watching this video that I've been doing the foot placement wrong on the B stance DL. I usually have my "kickstand foot" positioned well behind the heel of my working foot. Now I know it should be at the arch of the working foot. I see from a previous comment that I watched this video 6 months ago. But I didn't pick up on the foot placement for that exercise, and that I've been doing it wrong. I'm glad I know now, and I'll start doing it that way in my workout from now on! Thanks Erin! ❤

These are some really great exercises for the glutes, for sure! Erin, that last exercise you demonstrated (can't remember the name) with the band around the feet, face down on the bench, and abducting the heels, wow! I've never seen that one before, and it looks amazing! I'm going to try that one on my next lower body day. Thank you!
I like allot one leg hip thrust, especially the two bench setup really makes allot of sense. Range of motion, way easier setup than barbell hip thrusts. I find more worked out in setup n re-rack lol in barbell hipthrusts. Bulgarian split squats are another fav to use!!
For racking, I don't have mobility issues, my arms are just long. When my elbows are up, my wrists line up behind the back of my neck. So I cross my arms. Just putting it out there for others who might be the same. Took me awhile to figure that out.

Do you have any exercise or dietary recommendations to fix an injury to glutes??? I fell on outside stairs a few months ago... it was severely bruised. As it healed, I noticed I have an indentation in one side of my glutes. I'm not really looking for surgical remedies. I would prefer natural ways to improve fill the indentation back in to have the round firm symmetrical booty I had before the fall. Any helpful thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
During the foot elevated split squat I mostly feel the quad of the “non working” leg. What am I doing wrong? I feel the glute as well, but the quad fails first. Any advice?

Use a leg extension machine. Adjust it high first. Then get under there and pull it back as low as you can, then start thrusting! It's easy and it works. When you're done you can go right into leg extensions.
