Kharjo is a missing favourite for sure. He is the only misc quest giver who actually cares for your health and says something like “i want my amulet back but it is not worth your life”.
For real, he's one of the few NPCs who is actually realistic, instead of having no issues with sending you into a cave with 40 bandits for their grandmother's family heirloom loaf of bread.

My favorite character in Skyrim is the Courier. I mean he always makes sure you receive the letter, even while the town you're at is attacked by some vampires and even dragon. Hell, sometimes he even throw hands with the dragon. Dude is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will.
The best thing about M'aiq is that he often breaks the fourth wall. E.g., "M'aiq is very practical. He has no need for mysticism." is a reference to the mysticism spell school being removed in Skyrim.

Mines an invisible Dragon (Drakkhameleon) who carries all my impossibly heavy equipment and kills my avatar at the end and turns him into a Draugr to line his coffers and guard his treasure whilst he sleeps for another thousand years. I guess the hot air balloons and flying Galleykeeps put the deal between the Dragons flying provisions/slaves/armour/weapons in to the inhabitants of Skyrim to a final end.

When I first went to the Throat of the World and saw a dragon up there I immediately pulled my sword, only to be met with Partysnax, the most chill dragon ever.
You missed my favorite. For me, it was always Tolfdir; the first time I played through the College of Winterhold, I was terrified something would happen to him - like he'd get killed, or go crazy from exposure to the Eye of Magnus and try to conquer the world or something. He always reminded me of a guy I used to work with.
Personally I liked Serana because she seemed like the most fleshed out of all companions character wise. While the others for the most part just repeated a couple of generic phrases, she reacted appropriately to situations and made sarcastic remarks when the player did something stupid.
I loved Frea for she seemed to be fleshed out just to realized they seem to have dropped the writing halfway through the story and it leave serana with the only really fleshed out companion/follower.
i think thats what they were going for, like a sister brother type relationship, but of course modders saw to it that anything platonic was cast away, and replaced with a overly sexualized (almost slutty) character who is down for a fuck whenever, and is "quirky" if you couldnt tell, i really dont like the SDO mod XD

I’m disappointed nobody is talking about Uthegard the Unbroken. I admit she’s quite obscure to be favorite. But she’s my favorite simply because she’s a unfalteringly really sweet and kind character. She is one of the few characters that doesn’t complain about carrying your things, instead simply asking “what do you need me to take” or something to that effect. Not to mention the weapon she starts with is a great sword and it’s amusing to watch power attack at enemies with it. She’s also a really good early game follower, because you can get her so damn easily. Just walk in the bannered mare, fight her, and bada bing bada boom. All in all, Uthegard is hands down my favorite character. She’s so simple and kind, but that’s what attracts me to her.
Vorstag became my favourite when he was attacked by forsworn but he chuckled and yelled "like the bite of a flea!" before shredding them. also when a conjurer said "I'll see you burn!" to which he instantly replied "I'll see you in pieces!" during a battle. he's the big hypeman that doesn't look at explosions
Farkas has always been my number one pick. Honest chill guy who is the nicest person of the companions. Also alot brighter then people think he is, and a good warrior.
My favourite is definitely Aela. A confident and strong huntress, but not overly cocky. And she's one of the only Companions actually being nice to the newbie.
I like Serana for having a very colourful personality. She's not just a pretty face, she's a person you could call a friend. And the fact that her choice not to get involved in romantic relationships might be because she is a SA victim is just... sad. Even sadder when you remember she was pressured into it by her own father, and got SAd alongside her mother.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the team with so many sexual assault accusations wanted their game to explicitly make a point about victims of sexual violence. I still love Skyrim but lets be real, if the devs didn’t make Serana into a potential spouse it’s more likely because they didn’t want to go through all that work.
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention Karliah. She's a really interesting character, and her voice actress does a fantastic job. Her and Brynjolf are two of my favorites.

Agree. While a lot of effort was put into serana, cicero is the only character in the game which stands out like a sore thumb from the all the steadfast people of skyrim. Cicero is a broken man with a backstory, and a deep trauma, who acts as a jester, kills people for a living and expresses unusual playful passion for it unlike the rest of the dark brotherhood who always just kill people because they're proud of their craft. And this is normal in the real world, almost all people are weird in their own way, they all have their weird personality traits and mental health issues, and cicero is the only person in skyrim whos entire life isn't based around yearn, work culture, bloodlust, drinking, a sense of duty/community, survival and their combinations. He is bloodlusty like any dark brotherhood member, but contrary to everyone being super cold, he's always playful and takes stabbing people as a game. His mind is completely fucked by his trauma which in a weird way gave him god-tier quotes and just made him a super interesting character in general. Kinda like boone in fnv except cicero stands out a lot more considering all the fucked up people you meet in the game like cook-cook, caesar, elijah, dr. Klein with their different backstories and motivations behind their mindsets, while the closest thing you get in skyrim is emotional damage to children through murdering their parents, and of course, Cicero. I am so glad bethesda took steps in the right direction adding more characters with fucked up minds in fallout 4 because this is exactly what I wanna see in a video game
If ever there was a Coven of 13 with 13 Witches per Coven she'd be in it, using Scotomancy and Noctomancy to respawn monsters all over Skyrim...they're the bane of your existence...
I liked Delphine when I first played Skyrim but...that quickly changed as I progressed and then realised that what I actually really liked about her was her voice actor, she has one of the most relaxing voices in the entire game.
The voice acting for Delphine makes me hate her even more. That voice grates on my nerves like Belathor's does. Brynjolf has the best voice acting in my opinion. It still isn't enough to motivate me to suffer through the follower AI though.
Delphine is voiced by Joan Allen. She’s been in a lot of films, including Face/Off, Pleasantville, three of the Bourne movies, and The Notebook, among many others.
I wouldn’t exactly consider soul tear the best in the game but it’s definitely pretty good (that honor goes to unrelenting force) and I see what you mean

Mercurio has always been one of my go-to's. He's powerful in a battle, but also pretty well educated since he says actual tidbits of information instead of the typical "ooh a cave" dialogue for other followers. That and I love how he's more interested in drinking and partying than helping us, since his favorite thing to do while I'm at an Inn is stand in the corner and wave his mug around

Serena might be the best developed NPC in the game, but I prefer Inigo to all other Skyrim characters. He might be a mod, but he's an incredible companion and an absolute in the load order.
Sadly he had anything to say while I played dragonborn dlc. I hope he has some lines with serana when she bitches around about sunlight and caves all day 😅
@@remote24 My friend, I would suggest using Serana Dialogue Overhaul, esp with Indigo. There could be a patch needed, can't remember. But the 2 work well together and their interactions are a joy. SDO is also worth using with the Sofia mod, she will really get Serana bitching

I don't think I ever thought about who my favorite Skyrim npc was. At the top of my head I think Jarl Balgruuf. He is nice and helps the Dragon born a lot and gives you things. I also like his stance in the civil war wanting to be neutral.
Balgruuf isn't neutral, he only pretends he is. His guards use imperial swords and bows, say lines like "you dare dishonor the legion?!" When you commit crimes. They will attack storm cloak soldiers if they happen to run into to any. And perhaps the weirdest detail, all his guards are male, which is something only imperial cities have, storm cloak cities like Windhelm and Riften have female guards, imperial ones don't. Rikke being the one exception.
Jarl Ballin has some big cajones. He is the only Jarl who openly worships Talos in his City. Even Mr Stormcloak Ulfric cant beat that. Jarl Ballin earns my respect for giving the finger to Talos ban.
I admit it, I thought Nazeem as a joke. But being serious, J'zargo. I even used a mod to be able to marry him. Cicero is fun too. Inigo is fun as well.
My favorite Skyrim exclusive character is probably Paarthurnax. Partly because I love waxing philosophical with people who appreciate such things but mostly because I believe strongly in redemption and there isn't much better an example of redemption than someone like him. And a quote of his has stuck with me and guided my beliefs for years "What is better? to be born good or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?"
My favourite character is Veezar. Idk, I just like the idea of a lizard assassin train to kill sense the day he was born beeing so chill and brotherly in general
Illia, the witch from DarkLight Tower is one of my favorites, the whole righting her mother’s wrongs thing always stuck with me, her and Serena would make great friends.
I made her the Superintendent of my Plantation, sending Feandal home in the process in my current game. First time ever remembering meeting her to be honest. I'm sure i've cleared that tower more than once, but probably just ignored her in prior run thrus. Never knew of her before this game.
Very weirdly, Ulfric is one of my favourite characters in the game, despite the fact I side with the Imperials. I can empathise with him and I see why he feels his empire has betrayed him. Unfortunately, I don’t agree with anything he actually DOES about it though. So, he has my respect, but that won’t stop me from cutting his head off. Beside’s the man himself said: “it’ll make for a good song.”
That's the kicker with Ulfric, great motives but he just completely goes about it the wrong way and clearly desires to be high king as much if not more than he wants an independent Skyrim.

If Ulfric wins, they won't benefit from that at all. And if Ulfric wins with the dragonborn at his side... If 500 Nords were able to bring an entire civilization of snow elves to near complete destruction, a dragonborn with dragons and thousands of angry Nords at his side, along with the Redguards of Hammerfell... Yeah the Altmer stand no chance.
I always liked ralof the best, he reminds me of friends I used to play football with. He's a true friend and he's pretty cool dual weilding axes like a real Viking. His dialogues kinda funny to when you run into him at the sleeping giant, "I heard you died". To bad you can't have him as a follower.
You should get him or Hadvar (depending on your civil war choice) as a follower at the end of the civil war quest line as a follower. It would have been cool.
Miraak has a great voice and then he's just Some Middle- Aged Dude... couldn't they have made him look a bit more intimidating? He also needs mods to really work. I wish there was a mod that simply made him look evil and sexy (and removed him helmet) without making him a follower, though.

You missed Jenassa? She is great, her AI seems smarter than average, she is a decent at stealth and melee to compliment the stealth archer that everyone falls into, and to top it off she is a dark elf so in theory at least half the dragons you fight she takes reduced damage from. Throw on she is one of the few dual wielding companions you can have and accessed even earlier than that lady who is sworn to carry your burdens means you generally only need to hire her once. She is a woman who takes no sass though she does have a bit of an edgelord feel at times. Let me also give you this bit, she can dual wield staves. Throw your two favorite staves such as a certain chaos staff (wabbajack) along with whatever your favorite spell staff you have and watch her go.
I think it's because she uses the same class Teldryn uses. They've both been a lot better at personal space than usual AI is, except maybe Derkeethus, and they seem to react to your distance from targets. (They've both stayed back when I was playing a melee tank, and rushed in when I was a ranged character.)
@@neoqwerty It really is a better AI I haven't used Teldryn because you can get Jen so early and she fits my needs very easily no matter what I am doing I actually rarely use anyone else. Rarely I need a bit of solo stealthing but she is so good all around I just go back and grab her when I am done.
My fauvorite on this list is Paarthurnax. Wise old dragon, helps you throughout the main story. One of the few dragons that doesn't attack you normally and helped the nords learn the Thu'um.
Same. My 2nd favorite is Serena because she can't die I've killed so many of my followers by mistake because they get in the way of my shots least Serena can tank all my hits.
Mine is probably Kodlak, reading his diary, and realizing that it has 'your name' it was a pretty amazing moment at that time, shame that you barely interact with him.
J'zargo was the one I naturally gravitated towards in my first playthrough close to ten years ago, so I'm glad to see him as a pick here. Pouring a cup of milk on the ground in his name for that one time a Dwarven Centurion took him from me in the ruin Mjoll sends you to to recover Grimsever. I laid his body against a wall and set his sword and shield beside him when I found the corpse after I felled the automaton. I was genuinely shocked I felt attachment to a 3D model whose voice was pre-recorded audio clips. Ahh, the memories.
Neloth is my favourite. I don't like Nazir though. He was more likeable when he was Three Dog in Fallout 3. I think Nazir as a character just embodies all my dislike for both the Alik'r and the Dark Brotherhood in one character...
Delvin is so fucking arrogant for being one of the Blades, that she completly forgot that the Blades were meant to serve and protect the Dragonborn, not the other way around.

I’m actually a huge Astrid fan girl. Even if she made dumb mistakes, she was trying to protect something that she held dear. Hers was a tragic end to a good story overall.
I despised her right up until she was dying in front of me, at which point I could only think "I wish I could save her." She might not be my favorite, but that's a damn good character there.
Y’all can actually marry Serana without mods. I’ve done it several times, you have to choose all the right options perfectly and complete the dawngaurd storyline before even talking about marriage
I am glad that no one besides me likes Hermaeus Mora daedric prince of fate, knowledge and memory. You guys can have Serana, Dragons, Companions, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Empire, Thalmor, Stormcloaks, and College members. I will find myself with Hermaeus Mora help what happened to Dwemer race, learn the strongest magic in history, and the lore of Elder Scrolls world. PS. This is why I like the Black Books, and Oghma Infinium.
You keep all that and I raise you a lusty argonian instead. They are the most chill companions and they do their best when it comes cooking meals and running a sidehustle while I go out and solo everything lol.
M’aiq always cheers me up me whenever I’m lost wandering around without a since of direction. I don’t care if he’s makes up stories, he’s entertaining me, and that’s enough.
I love Ulfric, he has my complete loyalty even though I'm an Argonian, also if he was racist he wouldn't let me into the stormcloaks, treat me like family, and tell everyone I was a major reason for the victory. Checkmate, milk drinker.
Let me guess, yet another person who thinks they're "not like other dudes" just because they choose to go with an objectively crappier option, because let's face it, no other npc in the entirety of Skyrim is THAT fleshed out, and complex...
I know im the weirdo here, but ive always liked Delphine. Her bossyness always read as a woman who knows of her competence and what she is fighting for.
Eola is my favorite. Sure, she's literally the right hand of a cannibalistic Daedra, but she's also the only Nightblade classed companion in the game. Conjuration, Destruction, light armor and 1-handed being her strongest stats, she'll use just about anything you give her, and pretty darn well. Given she's only 1 of like 3 noteworthy characters with this trait (Irileth and Maven Black-Briar are also Nightblades), I feel like it's underappreciated just how nice it is to have a character that is strong both in the front line and in the back line.
It was neat how they made Serana do her own thing when you go inactive, she will start mining if ore is about, she will start using any of the tables if they are close by, or she will sit anywhere a bench or chair is near, made her fairly unique to the game from nearly every other follower.
Lucien maybe a modded follower but he is the best by far. I like his naivety and sarcasm, watching him get used to the adventurers life, and he's actually taught me quite a bit about elder scrolls lore/skyrim's history.
@@JudasRose personally I think Inigo treats you like a god and sucks up too much, I dont need someone kissing my ass and is my immediate best friend when we first meet. If Lucien doesn't feel like a friend it might be because you aren't giving him a fair chance, you said yourself you talk to Inigo more, oc course he has more to say to you. I like that you have to earn Lucien's friendship, trust, and confidence. Lucien starts with you as his boss but I feel as the game progresses and your friendship grows he rises to the level of, not quite an equal bc we are a legendary hero, but a friend, a peer even. I love that we can train him and watch him come into his own, and I find him very immersive since he has so much information available about various areas and lore of the world. It feels very immersive to me that Lucien is a bit of a ponce from Cyrodiil and he reacts the way you would expect a rich boy on his first adventure to react, of course he isn't psyched to be in a crypt, I wouldn't be either. The fact he isn't always happy go lucky makes the endearing moments or funny ones with him more real for me. I think Inigo is fun, but Lucien is real.

These self-important keyboard warriors can be found debating anyplace, anywhere. Spending 5 hours talking about racism, 6 hours debating someone that even whispers "Ulfric" around them, 8 hours talking about how better they are than you for siding with the Empire, and approximately 0 hours talking to women (children don't count). All in all, these hoity toity ladies and gentlemen love the establishment, and see living a life with any type of risk in it as not worth living...Or they just like the mod that replaces Legion armor with the one from Oblivion.*

My favorite character in Skyrim is the Courier. I mean he always makes sure you receive the letter, even while the town you're at is attacked by some vampires and even dragon. Hell, sometimes he even throw hands with the dragon. Dude is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will.

You missed my favorite. For me, it was always Tolfdir; the first time I played through the College of Winterhold, I was terrified something would happen to him - like he'd get killed, or go crazy from exposure to the Eye of Magnus and try to conquer the world or something.
He always reminded me of a guy I used to work with.
He looks like pure academic guy so I didn't expected he can fight too :) It looked kind of inapropriate :)
Personally I liked Serana because she seemed like the most fleshed out of all companions character wise. While the others for the most part just repeated a couple of generic phrases, she reacted appropriately to situations and made sarcastic remarks when the player did something stupid.
I loved Frea for she seemed to be fleshed out just to realized they seem to have dropped the writing halfway through the story and it leave serana with the only really fleshed out companion/follower.
Serana is like that sister friend who drops everything to check on you.
i think thats what they were going for, like a sister brother type relationship, but of course modders saw to it that anything platonic was cast away, and replaced with a overly sexualized (almost slutty) character who is down for a fuck whenever, and is "quirky" if you couldnt tell, i really dont like the SDO mod XD

I’m disappointed nobody is talking about Uthegard the Unbroken. I admit she’s quite obscure to be favorite. But she’s my favorite simply because she’s a unfalteringly really sweet and kind character. She is one of the few characters that doesn’t complain about carrying your things, instead simply asking “what do you need me to take” or something to that effect. Not to mention the weapon she starts with is a great sword and it’s amusing to watch power attack at enemies with it. She’s also a really good early game follower, because you can get her so damn easily. Just walk in the bannered mare, fight her, and bada bing bada boom. All in all, Uthegard is hands down my favorite character. She’s so simple and kind, but that’s what attracts me to her.
She reminds me of Brienne of Tarth. One of the more wholesome characters for sure. ❤

Farkas has always been my number one pick. Honest chill guy who is the nicest person of the companions. Also alot brighter then people think he is, and a good warrior.
Farkas might not be necessarily book-smart, at least compared to his brother, but he’s definitely very wise. I like that about him.

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention Karliah. She's a really interesting character, and her voice actress does a fantastic job. Her and Brynjolf are two of my favorites.

Agree. While a lot of effort was put into serana, cicero is the only character in the game which stands out like a sore thumb from the all the steadfast people of skyrim. Cicero is a broken man with a backstory, and a deep trauma, who acts as a jester, kills people for a living and expresses unusual playful passion for it unlike the rest of the dark brotherhood who always just kill people because they're proud of their craft. And this is normal in the real world, almost all people are weird in their own way, they all have their weird personality traits and mental health issues, and cicero is the only person in skyrim whos entire life isn't based around yearn, work culture, bloodlust, drinking, a sense of duty/community, survival and their combinations. He is bloodlusty like any dark brotherhood member, but contrary to everyone being super cold, he's always playful and takes stabbing people as a game. His mind is completely fucked by his trauma which in a weird way gave him god-tier quotes and just made him a super interesting character in general. Kinda like boone in fnv except cicero stands out a lot more considering all the fucked up people you meet in the game like cook-cook, caesar, elijah, dr. Klein with their different backstories and motivations behind their mindsets, while the closest thing you get in skyrim is emotional damage to children through murdering their parents, and of course, Cicero. I am so glad bethesda took steps in the right direction adding more characters with fucked up minds in fallout 4 because this is exactly what I wanna see in a video game

I liked Delphine when I first played Skyrim but...that quickly changed as I progressed and then realised that what I actually really liked about her was her voice actor, she has one of the most relaxing voices in the entire game.

The voice acting for Delphine makes me hate her even more. That voice grates on my nerves like Belathor's does. Brynjolf has the best voice acting in my opinion. It still isn't enough to motivate me to suffer through the follower AI though.

Mercurio has always been one of my go-to's. He's powerful in a battle, but also pretty well educated since he says actual tidbits of information instead of the typical "ooh a cave" dialogue for other followers.
That and I love how he's more interested in drinking and partying than helping us, since his favorite thing to do while I'm at an Inn is stand in the corner and wave his mug around

@@remote24 My friend, I would suggest using Serana Dialogue Overhaul, esp with Indigo. There could be a patch needed, can't remember. But the 2 work well together and their interactions are a joy. SDO is also worth using with the Sofia mod, she will really get Serana bitching

I don't think I ever thought about who my favorite Skyrim npc was. At the top of my head I think Jarl Balgruuf. He is nice and helps the Dragon born a lot and gives you things. I also like his stance in the civil war wanting to be neutral.
Balgruuf isn't neutral, he only pretends he is. His guards use imperial swords and bows, say lines like "you dare dishonor the legion?!" When you commit crimes. They will attack storm cloak soldiers if they happen to run into to any. And perhaps the weirdest detail, all his guards are male, which is something only imperial cities have, storm cloak cities like Windhelm and Riften have female guards, imperial ones don't. Rikke being the one exception.

Partly because I love waxing philosophical with people who appreciate such things but mostly because I believe strongly in redemption and there isn't much better an example of redemption than someone like him. Illia, the witch from DarkLight Tower is one of my favorites, the whole righting her mother’s wrongs thing always stuck with me, her and Serena would make great friends.
I made her the Superintendent of my Plantation, sending Feandal home in the process in my current game. First time ever remembering meeting her to be honest. I'm sure i've cleared that tower more than once, but probably just ignored her in prior run thrus. Never knew of her before this game.
Very weirdly, Ulfric is one of my favourite characters in the game, despite the fact I side with the Imperials. I can empathise with him and I see why he feels his empire has betrayed him. Unfortunately, I don’t agree with anything he actually DOES about it though. So, he has my respect, but that won’t stop me from cutting his head off. Beside’s the man himself said: “it’ll make for a good song.”

Being able to use the evidence from the Thalmor embassy to show him that his treachery is helping his enemy would have been great.
That's the kicker with Ulfric, great motives but he just completely goes about it the wrong way and clearly desires to be high king as much if not more than he wants an independent Skyrim.

If Ulfric wins, they won't benefit from that at all. And if Ulfric wins with the dragonborn at his side... If 500 Nords were able to bring an entire civilization of snow elves to near complete destruction, a dragonborn with dragons and thousands of angry Nords at his side, along with the Redguards of Hammerfell... Yeah the Altmer stand no chance.

Miraak has a great voice and then he's just Some Middle- Aged Dude... couldn't they have made him look a bit more intimidating? He also needs mods to really work. I wish there was a mod that simply made him look evil and sexy (and removed him helmet) without making him a follower, though.
@@manic_hearts That's really weird but I kinda get what u mean. I used to think werewolfs were cute and felt bad for them and now it's the same with miraak (for some reason I feel bad for him) but definitely not in the way that you were cuz I'm a guy lol

Jenassa is my fav for only 500 gold you get a ride or die, badass, sassy dark elf ranger who dual wields anything
You missed Jenassa? She is great, her AI seems smarter than average, she is a decent at stealth and melee to compliment the stealth archer that everyone falls into, and to top it off she is a dark elf so in theory at least half the dragons you fight she takes reduced damage from. Throw on she is one of the few dual wielding companions you can have and accessed even earlier than that lady who is sworn to carry your burdens means you generally only need to hire her once. She is a woman who takes no sass though she does have a bit of an edgelord feel at times. Let me also give you this bit, she can dual wield staves. Throw your two favorite staves such as a certain chaos staff (wabbajack) along with whatever your favorite spell staff you have and watch her go.
I think it's because she uses the same class Teldryn uses. They've both been a lot better at personal space than usual AI is, except maybe Derkeethus, and they seem to react to your distance from targets. (They've both stayed back when I was playing a melee tank, and rushed in when I was a ranged character.)
@@neoqwerty It really is a better AI I haven't used Teldryn because you can get Jen so early and she fits my needs very easily no matter what I am doing I actually rarely use anyone else. Rarely I need a bit of solo stealthing but she is so good all around I just go back and grab her when I am done.
She's definitely a fantastic stealth follower. The duel weild is definitely a huge bonus.
I couldn't remember her name but that's the one I was looking for in the video. She complimented my dark elf warrior so well.
Plus that she has no morals makes it all the better.
My favorite follower is Inigo. The mod has been around for so long that he’s pretty much vanilla Skyrim at this point for me lol
My fauvorite on this list is Paarthurnax. Wise old dragon, helps you throughout the main story. One of the few dragons that doesn't attack you normally and helped the nords learn the Thu'um.

Same. My 2nd favorite is Serena because she can't die I've killed so many of my followers by mistake because they get in the way of my shots least Serena can tank all my hits.
Mine is probably Kodlak, reading his diary, and realizing that it has 'your name' it was a pretty amazing moment at that time, shame that you barely interact with him.
I would also choose Kodlak. It's a shame that he dies in the game.💔

J'zargo was the one I naturally gravitated towards in my first playthrough close to ten years ago, so I'm glad to see him as a pick here. Pouring a cup of milk on the ground in his name for that one time a Dwarven Centurion took him from me in the ruin Mjoll sends you to to recover Grimsever. I laid his body against a wall and set his sword and shield beside him when I found the corpse after I felled the automaton. I was genuinely shocked I felt attachment to a 3D model whose voice was pre-recorded audio clips.

Nazir, Delvin and Neloth are probably my favorite characters.
Nazir and Neloth are just well written and Delvin reminds me of Jason Statham.
Neloth is my favourite. I don't like Nazir though. He was more likeable when he was Three Dog in Fallout 3. I think Nazir as a character just embodies all my dislike for both the Alik'r and the Dark Brotherhood in one character...
Delvin is so fucking arrogant for being one of the Blades, that she completly forgot that the Blades were meant to serve and protect the Dragonborn, not the other way around.

I’m actually a huge Astrid fan girl. Even if she made dumb mistakes, she was trying to protect something that she held dear. Hers was a tragic end to a good story overall.
I despised her right up until she was dying in front of me, at which point I could only think "I wish I could save her." She might not be my favorite, but that's a damn good character there.

I am glad that no one besides me likes Hermaeus Mora daedric prince of fate, knowledge and memory. You guys can have Serana, Dragons, Companions, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Empire, Thalmor, Stormcloaks, and College members. I will find myself with Hermaeus Mora help what happened to Dwemer race, learn the strongest magic in history, and the lore of Elder Scrolls world.
PS. This is why I like the Black Books, and Oghma Infinium.

I love Ulfric, he has my complete loyalty even though I'm an Argonian, also if he was racist he wouldn't let me into the stormcloaks, treat me like family, and tell everyone I was a major reason for the victory. Checkmate, milk drinker.

Eola is my favorite. Sure, she's literally the right hand of a cannibalistic Daedra, but she's also the only Nightblade classed companion in the game. Conjuration, Destruction, light armor and 1-handed being her strongest stats, she'll use just about anything you give her, and pretty darn well. Given she's only 1 of like 3 noteworthy characters with this trait (Irileth and Maven Black-Briar are also Nightblades), I feel like it's underappreciated just how nice it is to have a character that is strong both in the front line and in the back line.

It was neat how they made Serana do her own thing when you go inactive, she will start mining if ore is about, she will start using any of the tables if they are close by, or she will sit anywhere a bench or chair is near, made her fairly unique to the game from nearly every other follower.

Lucien maybe a modded follower but he is the best by far. I like his naivety and sarcasm, watching him get used to the adventurers life, and he's actually taught me quite a bit about elder scrolls lore/skyrim's history.
@@JudasRose personally I think Inigo treats you like a god and sucks up too much, I dont need someone kissing my ass and is my immediate best friend when we first meet. If Lucien doesn't feel like a friend it might be because you aren't giving him a fair chance, you said yourself you talk to Inigo more, oc course he has more to say to you. I like that you have to earn Lucien's friendship, trust, and confidence. Lucien starts with you as his boss but I feel as the game progresses and your friendship grows he rises to the level of, not quite an equal bc we are a legendary hero, but a friend, a peer even. I love that we can train him and watch him come into his own, and I find him very immersive since he has so much information available about various areas and lore of the world. It feels very immersive to me that Lucien is a bit of a ponce from Cyrodiil and he reacts the way you would expect a rich boy on his first adventure to react, of course he isn't psyched to be in a crypt, I wouldn't be either. The fact he isn't always happy go lucky makes the endearing moments or funny ones with him more real for me. I think Inigo is fun, but Lucien is real.

These self-important keyboard warriors can be found debating anyplace, anywhere. Spending 5 hours talking about racism, 6 hours debating someone that even whispers "Ulfric" around them, 8 hours talking about how better they are than you for siding with the Empire, and approximately 0 hours talking to women (children don't count). All in all, these hoity toity ladies and gentlemen love the establishment, and see living a life with any type of risk in it as not worth living...Or they just like the mod that replaces Legion armor with the one from Oblivion.*

Annekke Crag-Jumper the Follower in Darkwater Crossing is one of my favorites to. I just really like her personality only which ver stats were better.
