BEST lure for CATCHING big YELLOWFIN CROAKER? I say YES!

There's a reason why I started making these casting lures. I needed a way to get out to the farthest trough - the ones that run parallel to the beach, where the waves first break. Jerkbaits can't get out that far, especially when it's windy. Spoons can get out there, but spoons in the sizes needed are HUGE. These casting jigs are the perfect length and weight to get exactly where the big croakers love and feed.
It took a while and a LONG walk to a spot I hadn't fished in many months - maybe close to a full year in reality. But, when the conditions call for it, I made the journey. It paid off with my new personal best yellowfin croaker.
