It didnt take long for you to haul in a good fish. The ES Lure was a 1.5 oz. 2.5" in Black/Silver Shiner and they come in many other great colors. I cant wait to add these to the arsenal
Great video dude!! I’ve yet to catch my first “lure” beach fish. Going to focus on it more and leave the pompano rigs at home. Maybe that’ll boost my confidence!

I never will understand why you are so down on the lady fish. They fight hard, they sometimes jump like tarpon and they feed aggressively, allowing an angler to catch a bunch of them. Badass man. I need to get out there and try this type of fishing out. I've been hitting Pickens for sharks lately, and there have been big schools of ladyfish, Spanish, and jacks just off the beach every time I go. I want to try fishing the surf there with my fly rod. You ever do any fly fishing?
Where do you put the rod when using both hands to unhook the fish? I've seen you unhook fish well out into the water. Is there gear attached to you for this or you just pin the rod between your arm and torso? Thanks!

I think it was April 17 I tried a new spot where your Truck was was but I talk to a guy and I had went in the opposite direction down the beach and didn't get a bite but i went to where you are in this Video and caught my limit in pompano in about an hour. It was High tide that morning and in the afternoon when it went down it was super slow.
Came across your videos somehow, and I don't fish. My family?, the guys fish & I can dig watching them surf fish which is probably why I stopped to watch your video. OMG! You are such fun to watch! You get so excited about fishing. You're amped up and so animated! I'm starting to love watching you do your thing. I have NO freaking idea about much of what it is you're talking about, but I love watching LOL. When you love what you do, it is contagious to watch & get excited about what's on the end of the line. My favorite way to fish too, I walk with two rods - one ten foot rod and one steelhead, a big plug on the heavy and soft plastics or smaller presentations on the lighter setup. Depends on the wind and tides, but nothing beats a stalk and catch. Great video.
About how long is the steelhead rod? Is that a typical length for one? I'm new to this and looking for an optimal length rod for distance casting heavier lures, and also a lighter tackle rod for smaller fish near shore, but can still handle a big fish with the right technique. Thanks!
All my years of going to beaches from Texas to Florida I never thought about what was swimming right next to us. After watching these videos I think I’m done with going into the gulf. 🤪😂🤣

You know its almost summer when the lady fish show up and the june grass engulfs the beach. One good thing about ladyfish, when youre trying to keep a little one entertained while fishing, its almost a gaurentee hook up when they are running up and down the beach. Great video, keep up your hard work!

They are bad right now. I’ve seen several TH-camrs posting recently about spammers. It usually takes a little while but TH-cam should clean it up.

Just when you catch your lady fish, to get back at them for doing that to you and biting on your hook / lure, keep them and use them for cut bait!
