This was a great video. I have enjoyed seeing some more off road, and information on the approach, break over, and departure angles, as well as ground clearance. the music was great, a lot better than the usual slow pace a lot of your other videos have.
All I can assume is, the people complaining about the video format are the ones who are unable to read. The video shows you everything you need to see, and those funny things at the bottom of the screen ( they're called words ) tell you everything you need to know. All in all, another excellent production from the TFLMassif; assuming, of course, you've learned how to read.
I'm not feeling this one I like the concept of people talking and showing the different parts. Especially when I'm doing something and watching the video it's easier to just listen and get work done.
+Kendall Jackson Thanks for the comment. This video is aimed more at the Truck Buyer. This is an up close look at the specs and features that you get if you buy the truck.
Nice truck, I agree that the Rebel is more a appearance package than anything. 52k is cheaper and a mid trim level F150, Lariat start about 53k, then the Raptor would probably be around +60k. The Ram still have better quality interior than the 2015 F150.
+Jose M Brito Never pay list price or MSRP. A comparable Ford with rebates would be about 10k less than MSRP. My 2013 150 4x4 listed 51k and I paid 39k for it. Its basically a luxury truck on the inside. The Rebel gets heated mirrors but my 150 has heated & cooled seats. For Florida cooled seats is a sweet feature to have. The Rebel is a nice looking truck but I would never pay what their asking price is.
No offense Tfl crew, this video format is a wide miss. Back to the drawing board. Maybe I'm just used to such quality videos this one just feels out of place.
Compare a power wagon to the raptor and see who wins.. Compare this to the fx4 package and see who wins. Personally, I would choose the rebel over ford any day.
the raptor is still better than either of these. better off road, better on road. more power, faster 0-60. better 4x4 system. the power wagons only advantage is a factory winch and can tow more
As I've stated before I'm a huge Ford fan, but think this truck looks pretty cool...One thing I don't like is the rotary knob shifter as I love my center console shifter that I use all the time to manually shift with...When I'm at speed in the desert I can hold any gear to keep the power on tap. Does the Rebel have any type of limited or lockable rear diff?
Nice truck, I agree that the Rebel is more a appearance package than anything. 52k is cheaper and a mid trim level F150, Lariat start about 53k, then the Raptor would probably be around +60k. The Ram still have better quality interior than the 2015 F150.
i like the songs used for this. were they custom made for tfl because i like them and would like to find them but shazam and google cant recognize them
+The Fast Lane Truck Yes, from start to finish. These videos are better when you are talking about the vehicle, not when you are silent, and the music is blaring..
+Hiluxtaco I agree. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this channel and the people at TFLT they put out some awesome content like mpg tests and towing ect... I especially like the reviews on the fully loaded trucks and when they compare them to the competition. you can tell the people at TFLT put alot of work into what they do.
+JonP227GT I'm not hating on their channel. I just didn't care for their choice in (loud) music to show off the details of this truck. 😉 PS - For the record: I have zero in interest in buying one of these trucks. But, that doesn't preclude me from watching (and/or commenting) on these videos..
I still don't see the advantage of the rebel, a new 1500 can come with all those options, and not have that weird grill... But I do like how this video shows some of the undercarriage which is what a true truck guy is looking for (not how bright the new interior is)
Not a fan of the new video format basically anybody could do the same thing. With the "front skid plate" and the "brakes" "lights" what you used to do made the channel more unique
The music was great. But I have to say that it shows that your a Ford fanboy. The rebel gives you better shocks that you didn't mansion. Also the front bumper gives you better clearness with a skid plate for better off roading. The rebel also gives one inch extra clearance then a regular Ram. But what you only said that it has lots of cheap plastic not to blame when you come from Ford background. Thanks for the video.
+bander ibrahim Well he did say that he may be biased because of how much he loves their loaner Raptor :). Clearance is one thing, the ability to make use of that clearance is a whole other matter of course. Without a locking diff, it may not be able to fully make use of that advantage. Only time will tell of course.
+Perezzy CoC we are not comparing here. Am just saying that give the rebel the appraisal that it deserves. I know that the raptor and the power wagon are the best offroad trucks all around.
+762Coolhand Actually we did much more than just change the music. We took your suggestions and incorporated them into the new format. Did you watch entire video before commenting?
+The Fast Lane Truck Yes I did watch the video in its entirety and I don't think the 1 minute and 6 seconds in the middle of the video counts. Plus the 80s hair band music is not working with this video.
Please fire the person who does the music!!! Please! I saw this segment against the Raptor and your price numbers were shocking. In Canada the Raptor is around $83,000 and the Rebel is around $60,000. Big difference!
Enjoyed everything except the music it was too loud and distracting, not to mention it just isn't my cup of tea. The video format was good though. Does the differential lock in 4 high and 4 low?
I can't get pass that rotary gear selector. It might be the caveman "me don't like change" But it just look I might accidentally put the truck in a different trying to adjust the volume.
If not for the one minute talk it seriously looked like a comercial... Hate this format. Sorry, I know you guys put a lot of work on your videos but I had to say it. Is not your best work. ...not by a long shot.
rebel shouldn't have this amount of electric stuff it should have ALOT less so if i'm gonna take off-road i don't wanna have something not working later & the hell is this ? the transmission shift be a stick not a audio volume switch look a like , just saying you don't wanna go backward but you wanna go forward lol .
Ram rebel is a fake raptor. Only reason you'd buy this "truck" over the raptor is due to brand loyalty. Now don't get me wrong I tend to like ram trucks more than I do ford trucks, but the raptor is still on top IMO
+SonOfMarvin Its not supposed to compete with the Raptor, how many times do we have to say this. Ram didn't have an offroad package, like Ford's FX4, GM's Z71, etc. The closest thing thing prior was the Outdoorsman trim which only lumped together popular options outdoor-oriented people like; ie: 3.92s, LSD, rambox, tow package, etc. They didn't have an offroad package that offered specially tuned shocks and springs, larger tires, additional skid plates, etc. The Rebel was made to be that new offroad package. Its not meant to be on the Raptor's level, just look at the price! The Raptor is a super expensive truck, while the Rebel is mid trim level between the Outdoorsman and Laramie. There is no Raptor fighter.
+MrBlurberries Dodge/Ram had the TRX-4 which was the equivalent of the FX4 and Z71. Also, watch the off-roading video. The MSRP of this turd is within $1,000 of the Raptor's.
+chris galliher The Raptor starts as a bare bones truck that you add options to. The Rebel is high-mid grade. To have all the options the Rebel has the Raptor would be $57K+ versus $42K for the Rebel. Not to mention with the Rebel you'll get close to 20% off the MSRP, not with the Raptor.
+MrBlurberries its okay people that say the raptor is within the price range of this has never actually seen a raptor at the dealership or an auction. dealerships sell them for at least 70k we have a used 13 at our lot right now with 35k miles on it and they are asking 75k for it.
This guy really likes ford's every single ram he's featured on this show he's had nothing nice to say. I'm a dodge guy always was always will be. Don't get me wrong ford is a nice truck but there are way to many puddles where i live to ever drive a ford. might get stuck....
accentuate the positive ,negate the negative and don 't mess with Mr in between . only plastic under cladding for show plastic overdose on front end and interior. the least off road ready 4x4 truck on the market. and these guys say nothing about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol these guys do not know how to test a truck and the nasty music is too much to take. They have proven themselves to be yes men and have no intention of giving an honest objective opinion. fake infomercial test drives in a fairy land where all the vehicles are GREAT
One skid plate?? What a joke! Trucks today are to car like. To much crap to go wrong. And when it does it is going to cost an arm and a leg to fix it. Also when you use the truck for what it was designed for and break something the dealer will tell you that the truck was abused and will not cover the fix under warranty. Total POS in my opinion. To each their own. I am not buying the sob
Really maybe you should think before you type or speak because some people work for a living and when you work you can buy things like a new truck, computer, a house or whatever i want.
Nice truck, I agree that the Rebel is more a appearance package than anything. 52k is cheaper and a mid trim level F150, Lariat start about 53k, then the Raptor would probably be around +60k. The Ram still have better quality interior than the 2015 F150.

much better than the last revved up. Thanks for posting!
Love this format as an addendum to the hands on testing and commentary. Cheers.
Thanks.
Bring it own on TFL Cars as well. Love the concept. Again perfect as a buyer guide.

Great point! Only, the guys you are talking about, absolutely, cannot read! 😀
I liked how you guys did this review. please do more just like this. you guys are awesome!
good video read a ton up on this truck and it highlighted some features i didn't know about
Nice Detailed Review. You all do great work!
Whoa!!! who the hell is playing that guitar?!? Thats what I call a rocking solo!
I'm not feeling this one I like the concept of people talking and showing the different parts. Especially when I'm doing something and watching the video it's easier to just listen and get work done.

+The Fast Lane Truck ok that would be helpful in that sense. Thanks for replying
Nice truck, I agree that the Rebel is more a appearance package than anything. 52k is cheaper and a mid trim level F150, Lariat start about 53k, then the Raptor would probably be around +60k. The Ram still have better quality interior than the 2015 F150.
Just buy a used raptor at 50k, low miles, and is still the best off-road.
+Jose M Brito Never pay list price or MSRP. A comparable Ford with rebates would be about 10k less than MSRP. My 2013 150 4x4 listed 51k and I paid 39k for it. Really wish the performance hood scoops were functional. It would make this truck look better and same with my sport 1500!
and thank you for the 1980's soundtrack.
Compare a power wagon to the raptor and see who wins.. Compare this to the fx4 package and see who wins. Personally, I would choose the rebel over ford any day.
the raptor is still better than either of these. better off road, better on road. more power, faster 0-60. better 4x4 system. the power wagons only advantage is a factory winch and can tow more
+Bailey O. Lets not forget locking front and rear diffs.
+Bailey O. and don't forget the powerram is a heavy duty vehicle capable of towing 15k. raptor is a half ton
What a gorgeous truck I'd go get one tomorrow if I could afford the payments
Got mine for 63K no regrets I baby that truck
As I've stated before I'm a huge Ford fan, but think this truck looks pretty cool...One thing I don't like is the rotary knob shifter as I love my center console shifter that I use all the time to manually shift with...When I'm at speed in the desert I can hold any gear to keep the power on tap.

Holy Production Value Batman!
i like the songs used for this. were they custom made for tfl because i like them and would like to find them but shazam and google cant recognize them
Not a fan of the musical montages
+Hiluxtaco Did you watch the entire video?
+The Fast Lane Truck Yes, from start to finish.
These videos are better when you are talking about the vehicle, not when you are silent, and the music is blaring..
+The Fast Lane Truck The TFLMassif casts its pearls before swine.
+Hiluxtaco I agree. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this channel and the people at TFLT they put out some awesome content like mpg tests and towing ect... The old design here is still good. Besides, it's a vehicle. Once it's wrecked, the loss isn't as major versus it being brand new.
If I had closed my eyes, I would have thought I was transported into an 80s hair metal band video! ✌️
+Dan Lesovsky It is kind of good that way, isn't it?
+1guyin10 Certainly not. 👊
+1guyin10 Certainly not. 👊
+Dan Lesovsky hahaha I was fully expecting to hear Bruce Dickinson, or Axl Rose to start belting something out!
Great music!
What is the difference between 4 wheel lock and 4 wheel low and in which instance am I supposed to use each one of these
Best Car Ever
@the fast lane truck, is that a GOODYEAR spare???????
Are the hood scoops functioning or just for looks ?
what is the music in this video? I need to know because it is awesome!
good job guys
I still don't see the advantage of the rebel, a new 1500 can come with all those options, and not have that weird grill... But I do like how this video shows some of the undercarriage which is what a true truck guy is looking for (not how bright the new interior is)
your text on the video states it is a 2015, however your intro monologue states 2016? which is it?
those floor storages look like they could come in handy..
...The camera work and the header info is the way to do this...etc...;-),,,....Oh by the way nice truck too.......
What part of Colorado were you 4 wheeling with this in?
Do a 0-60 video or a drag race between the Raptor and the rebel
Not a fan of the new video format basically anybody could do the same thing. With the "front skid plate" and the "brakes" "lights" what you used to do made the channel more unique
Nice type of review and nice music too. Андрею привет
what the spare tire is a goodyear wrangler and the ones on the car are toyo open country
Anyone else notice the Goodyear Wrangler on the spare !
Performance hood with non functional hood scoops?
was this made from discarded Raptor ideas?
I feel like that opening guitar solo was ripped straight from dynasty warriors
Wait in the beginning he said 2016 ram and on the slide show it says 2015 ram?
The music was great. But I have to say that it shows that your a Ford fanboy. The rebel gives you better shocks that you didn't mansion. Raptor has better fox shock than bilstin, and the raptor sits higher up with a higher lift. the raptor is an all around better off road truck.
+Perezzy CoC we are not comparing here. Am just saying that give the rebel the appraisal that it deserves. I know that the raptor and the power wagon are the best offroad trucks all around.
The Raptor also sells for $70K+ brand new of the lot.
Ram bring back the RAM 50 DAMIT !!!!!!!!!!!!
and
RAM 50 Rebel, maybe
Love the music montage.....
No thanks if I wanted to hear blaring music I'd watch rock videos. Can't watch any more.
3.93 or 3.92 gears?
Not a good video format the first time. Changing the music didn't help.
+762Coolhand yeah I agree, I prefer with commentary
+762Coolhand Actually we did much more than just change the music. We took your suggestions and incorporated them into the new format. Did you watch entire video before commenting?
+The Fast Lane Truck maybe he is trying to say that the video didn't interest him enough to even finish the video? \(-,-)/
+Jose Mendoza That's certainly a good point but as the title suggests this video is more for anyone interested in buying this truck.
+The Fast Lane Truck Yes I did watch the video in its entirety and I don't think the 1 minute and 6 seconds in the middle of the video counts. Plus the 80s hair band music is not working with this video.

Towing Capacity?
Good looking P/U truck. Not one of my favorite TFL videos.
there's not much new here. Ford f150 pickups have 4-wheel disc brakes as standard ever since the late 90's
Guys, the music is brutal..
I really don't like this new format. To me it seems you guys are putting less effort on these videos.
I can't get pass that rotary gear selector. It might be the caveman "me don't like change" But it just look I might accidentally put the truck in a different trying to adjust the volume.
wait till u see the 2017 raptor price
But the Rebel has a different air suspension
I am a fan of TFL truck, but honestly this format is a bit off... I preffer when you guys talk and present us a truck and its features.
26 G only it's roaring V8 isn't it
You could have done this video without the loud music. Next time show these clips with some commentary.
Give me a 72 Ford Pinto any day!
The only thing you need to know, if you're considering buying a Ram Rebel, is the quickest route to the nearest psychiatric hospital.
Stupidest comment I’ve read today...lame as shit.
7 minutes of music and 30 seconds of actually talking about the truck..come on guys you can do better than that.
R to the A to the M...
That's what a diesel use to costs brand new....
I thought I was gonna like this truck but it seems like a mall crusier for wannbe offroaders. Don't let ur meat loaf!!!
If not for the one minute talk it seriously looked like a comercial... Hate this format. Sorry, I know you guys put a lot of work on your videos but I had to say it. Is not your best work. ...not by a long shot.
Cotto vs canelo

first like!
accentuate the positive ,negate the negative and don 't mess with Mr in between .
only plastic under cladding for show
plastic overdose on front end and interior.

fake infomercial test drives in a fairy land where all the vehicles are GREAT
Yeah...didn't look like much of a skid plate!!! Lol!!!
fist one
+Edgar Toribio Congratulations, but make sure you don't go blind.
................Please don't say BUTCH...................LoL.......
52 grand seems way too much for a dodge!!! Seriously in 5 years it will only be worth half as much at most!!
The seats are a joke
Who buys a dodge anyway?
Nice truck but it's atrocious on gas. Also. huge price tag.
One skid plate?? What a joke! Trucks today are to car like. To much crap to go wrong. And when it does it is going to cost an arm and a leg to fix it. cost too much
About as informative as an EveryMan Driver Video. This new format sucks.
Way too much money for an appearance package.
have u seen the ford f150 limited 63k
Why does everyone use the stupid music montages? ??????????
man that truck has an UGLY grill.
+Ryan Kennedy oh don't get all butt hurt you little girl.
You don't make any sense go back to school and learn some English.
+Ryan Kennedy wow a grammar nazi...
+Ryan Kennedy are you even old enough to be on your mom's computer?
Really maybe you should think before you type or speak because some people work for a living and when you work you can buy things like a new truck, computer, a house or whatever i want.
why would u want this hemi push rod crap?dodge is as alweys too little to late - ford brings full aluminium ecoboost raptor with 10 speed box
Really STUPID music.
Nice truck, I agree that the Rebel is more a appearance package than anything. 52k is cheaper and a mid trim level F150, Lariat start about 53k, then the Raptor would probably be around +60k. The Ram still have better quality interior than the 2015 F150.
