When it came time for me to get a new truck I had it narrowed down between the Rebel and the Tundra TRD Pro. With the issues I had with my previous FCG vehicle I decided to go with the Tundra and even though it doesn’t have as many bells and whistles and the gas mileage is slightly worse , I’ve been in love with my truck! Still love watching your videos. Great seeing fellow vets doing well with their lives! Keep up the good work
No the 2018 doesn’t at least not in the Rebel, I think the Power Wagon is the only platform that had front and rear lockers. The Rebel has the limited slip rear diff.
TheFive Oh4 all the 2019 4X4’s have read lockers. This is a 2018 model and all they have is Limited slip and traction control which is more than the Toyota Tundra with the open diff and uses its traction control only.
Since you have done reviews on both, which is the better vehicle if you want to have something that can pretty much do everything... Rebel or Power Wagon. Basically asking which one makes a better daily driver if you are mostly on the highway with some weekend off-roading.
You and many others have asked this very same question. I think its time we provide our opinion in a head to head comparison video... Stay tuned, were working on a video that answers your very question.
It's too slow to impress a woman with, that's the problem. It's like "hey watch this trick" and now she's gotta sit there acting impressed as a truck gets shorter
I wish the ride height would lock in at any speed.. If you put it in monster truck mode it goes back to regular height at forty miles an hour automatically...... I'm the driver...I will set the ride height permanently until told otherwise!!!!!!..lol... But I tell you what,,, I love this truck. The more I drive it every day
My Tundra does the same thing with the navigation. It took me a bit to realize why it wasn't working when my wife was trying to enter the info. I really thought she was doing something wrong. Lot's of kissing her butt after that. lol
If it goes down slowly in exit/entry mode, it gives someone under it half a chance to yell out or get out. I hate to think of a kid or animal getting under the truck when that mode is started.
you're crazy for hitting sand dunes on a rebel. A rebel is a trail truck. Let's be honest here. It cant safely go above 70 mph on sand dunes, and has very limited suspension travel. It's a trail truck. Spend another 10-15k and get the real off-road truck; the raptor.
D Jay T no it wouldn’t lol. They have tested them against each other many times and the Raptor always comes out on top. Check your research. By the way I love the rebel and I’m probably buying one for my next truck, simply because it will be enough to accommodate the things I would use it for. If I off roasted all the time I would definitely save for the raptor, but I don’t do I don’t need to spend the extra money so I will stick with the rebel.
IMO based on first hand experience, the Raptor is an overpriced, overweight, slow, underwhelming POS with visually appealing accents that lure uninformed buyers with disposal income that have no intentions of ever using the capabilities of what the truck was built to do.
Navigation disabled when the car is in drive? You mean like in every single vehicle on the road in America?

Thanks man. We truly appreciate the support. Enjoy that Tundra!
I heard the air suspension wasn’t that good off road so I went with a Big Horn and adding my own off-road stuff.
Me too, tradesman then upgraded.
Just bought a 2017 Rebel; I absolutely love it!! It out pulled my F150 FX4 by a long shot!!!!
How is the gas mileage on the both I’ve narrowed my search down to a 2017 f150 and the rebel
@@prestonbishop2340 Rebel is a bit better. Not much
Awesome that’s all I needed to know, thank you
Just bought one and this video helped make the decision. Thanks
amazing production quality as always 👌👌
I've got a warlock so obviously I like the rebels too. Never noticed the tailgate was different.
I wish they would put a rear locker on this truck. It's an off-road oriented pickup, why there isn't at least a rear locker blows my mind.
The 2018 does.

I though Ram Box was an option?
Really enjoy your videos fellas. Keep up the good work.
I also have 17 rebel and your assessment is spot on thanks for the video
Uhhh Knife hand.........
From what I've seen, no Nav unit let's you type when driving. This includes Toyota.
A tip: you can watch series at InstaFlixxer. Me and my gf have been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Karsyn Anders definitely, have been using instaflixxer for years myself :)

That's awesome. Will wait for that.
Power wagon all the way for off road, rebel is better for highway.
24 hours in a day and people are that impatient to wait 35 seconds? Why not walk up to the truck, open the door and just get in.

do you still enjoy the rebel?
Absolutely. They’re great trucks.
@@AdventureVehicleReviews thanks I am looking at 2016 and newer models
how many issues you have had so far?

Does anyone use the nav system anymore with smart phones? I personally think they are cumbersome to use anyway.
I use the nav in mine to free up the phone
That rebel logo on the window! Ram should team up with LucasFilm to make a special truck for the movies.
looks like Nissan beat RAM to the starwars franchise
@@djayt1215 I guess you haven't seen The Force Awakens commercial with the viper and challengers...
Nice video! I can’t wait to get this truck pretty soon!
Awesome review!
Dude is a clown for his "veteran motto" introduction (very POG), and the whiny section about the entry/exit lowering feature. Wtf?
Hey man! You’re supposed to thank him for his service 😂
FYI, no pogs were filmed in this video.
0331 Gunz up!
Guy probably never even deployed lol no one is that motto after a deployment lol

Everyone has their criticisms...
Apple CarPlay?
I agree

Sounds like your impatient
If you need a camera in the front, then you don't need to buy a truck

I think you mean...real dune truck...a Raptor would be shit on a mountain trail

If you need a forward facing camera as much as you mention, quit driving 😂
