Great! Those formats are the best-no talking, just sounds from the train, announcements, and nature.
Glad you like those :)
Very nice video! I do also like to travel by train in Hungary, it has a very special vibe :D
Thank you. It does :D With restaurant carriage, it would be just perfect.
very scenic indeed!!
5:10 - this train car looks like a 1990s german (DB) car - even the interior looks like back then (instant childhood memories) with the blue entrance walls/seats and the red doors
Ex DB. It actually might be the exact one you rode in your childhood :)
Muy buen reportaje
From Celje to Zidani most the railroad is following river Savinja ( 17:31 ) and from Zidani most to Ljubljana river Sava
Correction note added to the video. Thank you.
Really enjoyed it, thanks! :) yeah Dèli is in poor condition but after some public shaming in the media the government finally decided to do some touch-ups. The station is usually a hot topic cos many gov officials want to close it, but civil groups (n the general public) insist on it cos of its location n cos the other two main stations already can’t handle the current traffic well. Hungarian government officials like to twiddle their thumbs in train topics, so I don’t expect big positive steps in the near future, but I trust the public’s power 😀
Thanks for the feedback and additional info :) I've heard about plans to connect Nyugati and Deli during the major re-work at Nyugati, and then close Deli. Is it realistic, or just a futuristic vision?
@@Europe-By-Train Just a futuristic vision. Although it'll be enormous budget project for connecting tunnelling rail each other Déli, Nyugati and lastly Keleti. These plan will have a far away from realistic because of the Metro 4 didn't have a budget enough to reach goal so they had to cut down Budaörs and Újpest to Kelenföld Station and Keleti Station. (If I remember correctly)
Is Bp's South (Déli) station still open? As you point out, it's in poor condition and to the best of my knowledge it's been closed down for several months for major refurbishment works.
To my knowledge, the station still open, but was closed now in April for some weekends for track maintenance.
is this train make any profits? its looks so empty through out the jporney..?
It was actually packed in Hungary until the border with Slovenia. Train got full on the next stop in Budapest. Probably busier in the season :)
@@Europe-By-Train oh really you canno tsee much from the crowd in the video. thnaks for your kind comment.
was it border control?
Nope, both countries are in Europe's Schengen area.
