I was in the market to upgrade my Prado and all of the current models have sold out in the blink of an eye (I wonder why???). I certainly won’t be buying one… and I’m so pissed off, with Toyota thinking that this will fly here, that for the first time EVER, I’ll be looking at ANY other manufacturer… and I’m not alone in this thinking… haven’t met one person that likes the new design.

Is it a 7 seater? USA versions are strictly 5 seaters only, no 3rd row seating, even though there are cupholders in the rear.

Nearly all Prados in Australia are 7-seaters.
Its because you cant fit 7 Americans inside a car this size. You need a much bigger car to allow for the mass of humans.
If only we get the 240 kW Petrol Hybrid not just the clunky diesel.
If Toyota want to keep the market share then they have to offer tail gate mounted spare wheel in Australian model.
