I was prescribed the lowest dose to start three months ago. My insurance approved it, but nobody has it in stock, not even Express Scripts. So maybe one day I’ll be able to start.
Yes it’s really surprising to me how long the shortage has lasted. I started more than a year ago and I was likewise impacted by the shortage. My doctor prescribed me with Ozempic at .5 mgs and 1 mg and I returned to wegovy at 1.7 mg. Supposedly the higher dosages are easier to obtain. I can say that I haven’t had trouble getting refills on 2.4 mgs for some time now. I sincerely hope you’re able to find a work around or that the medication becomes available soon💕. Thank you for your comment.
Awww thank you so much for your comment. I always hope that I’m imparting value it’s my main goal and you’ve given me some assurance and encouragement… I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment for me 🥰
Very informative video! I’m on Week 2 of Wegovy 0.25 mg and I definitely can relate to the side effects you mentioned. I am hopeful that they will subside as I continue taking it. Thank you for sharing your experience.❤
Just found your video!!! New Wegovy user... Thanks for the tips! I'm also on 0.25 mg... Took it for a month, couldn't find it due to backorder, and just recently found it again!!! I'm excited to start back!!
Hi👋🏽 …. I’m happy you found me!! Welcome to my channel, congratulations on starting back on Wegovy, I hope it goes really well for you! Please keep us posted on your results!!☺️
I just started last week with .25. I definately felt a change the next day after my first dose. I am looking for foods to incorporate in my lifestyle that will help with the remainder of this journey.
Thank you so much for your comment. I hope your journey goes well… mine was a bit slow and a tad rocky at times but I can say Wegovy does help tremendously with both food noise and sugar cravings and likewise I struggled with both. I never could’ve imagined that I would ever be able to break free. Wegovy is truly a great tool!
Hi! I’m so glad I found you! I have a question…I’m on 3rd month of Wegovy (1mg). I started with lowest dosage. I lost about 15 pounds. My question is…I’m getting hungry more often and the food noise is coming back, even though I’m on a higher dose. Is this normal or common? Thanks for your time and hope you’re doing well on your journey!
Hey! Yes, there were periods when food noise returned for me on the lower doses. I was concerned that the medication was no longer working but as I stepped up in the dosing the food noise decreased. I also began to realize that I had to determine if it was truly food noise or was I just hungry. After going a while without hearing any noise and having my appetite suppressed it was really tricky to know what I felt and that was really challenging for me. My suggestion is to drink plenty of water, prioritize protein (even if you have to drink a shake) and strive to have healthy snacks handy. This helped me to make it through without falling completely off track. Through out your Wegovy journey you may find that your hunger increases at times and there could be other factors like an increase in your physical activity as well . Let me say that I was required to eat more once I started strength training, my body naturally demanded more. So keep this in mind. A huge congratulations to your 15 pound weight loss!!🙌🏽🎊💥 Thank you so much for your comment and I look forward to hearing more about your progress!!💕
@@Greater_Expectations You’re awesome! It makes total sense now! I have added more activity to my daily workout routine. Thank you for your time and help, I so greatly appreciate it.
Hi, if you’re taking it for the first time and you work a standard schedule, I would suggest taking it Friday evening. If you get nausea or have other side effects you’ll have the weekend to recover.
Hi, I definitely understand your hesitation. To be honest, the nausea was definitely an issue for several months but I realized drinking plenty of water and including peppermint tea daily was the remedy. Just know that the symptoms didn’t last. I don’t have ANY symptoms now and I’ve almost been on Wegovy for a year! Also I’ve had several people tell me that they barely had any symptoms at all when they started. So perhaps you will be like the latter and the medication may not be as bad as you think. Let me know what you decide! Keep me posted!!
👋🏽 Hey…. have you tried immodium? There’s a multi symptom caplet that relieves gas, bloating, cramps and pressure. I’ve taken it and it has 100% worked for me.
👋🏽 Hi, have you included a daily multivitamin and are you staying well hydrated? I found that just including and increasing my water intake along with matcha tea has helped tremendously!
@Lopezgirl25 Hi yes I lost a little bit of weight, I think about 5 pounds. I believe it was water weight. I’ve lost more weight on the higher doses. The weight loss has been slow but I’m down 65 pounds. So hang in there and look for areas in your diet and activity level that can be changed. Eventually you will release the weight.

My doctor wants me to try this but I am TERRIFIED of the side effects! I can't stand to be nauseous! How long would you say that you dealt with that?
