Hello, I would like to ask you for a little help. In the end, should I go with this Asus model or the LG 27GN850-B? In the local store for the Black Friday sale, the LG set is fully reserved, but this Asus that you showed is on a small discount, so the exact model is VG27AQZ. On rtings they give preference to Asus, but on other sites LG took the advantage in terms of color quality. What should I take at the end? I am a user who mostly uses a monitor for work, but I certainly like gaming in my free time that's for sure.
@@suckyerfilthymother In the end, I bought an LG but another alternative model, which is the LG 27GP850. I couldn't find the LG 27BN850 almost anywhere, so they offered me this replacement, which is even better in the end and with better specifications. The only problem I see is when I play Starcraft 2 where the monitor flickers at certain moments. I have no other problems while working on the desktop. You need to connect the Display Port so that you can play 180hz and additionally adjust them in the settings because they are locked at the beginning. Greeting.
I can’t run my PS5 at 120hz with this monitor for some reason. I’ve done everything every yt video has said to do to achieve 120hz and it still won’t. I’m not sure what to do
It works very well with the series x. ELMB sync also works nicely on games that support 120fps, but I do suggest not having it on with games that run at 60fps
@@Pure1iinstinct7 I can’t seem to get it to run 1080p @120Hz, I’ve changed the native PS5 settings to 1080 and 120Hz to automatic, but the game doesn’t pick up anything any advice?
Why do they have so many fucking monitors with the same fucking specs. The AQ and the AQZ are literally identical but £200 price difference here in UK. Cant find any info why, anywhere. This AQ1A is basically the same too but 170hz, its so annoying.
this isnt any better to be honest. its also ips so it will suffer from poor contrast. the gl850 has some of the best colors on a display. if you want deep contrast youll have to get a quality va panel but then againt response time isnt going to as good as your gl850. basically it boils down to pick your poison because tons of people dislike va for its black smearing.
GL850 has comparatively poor contrast, but its colours and response time are far beyond most monitors on the market. Sadly there's no good monitor that does it all, gotta find what you value and go for that. If it's contrast and colours, get a VA. If it's speed, get a TN/IPS.
Can you share your calibration settings? Thanks
Just bought this coming in Tuesday I’m gonna use it for my Xbox series x
This working?

Hello, If a will be using a docking station (Thunderbolt 3) with a display port, will I still get a 165 Hz on 1440p?
Yeah
When I play fps do I need to put it in fps mode for best response time?
No, that doesn't change the response time, just the colour settings. There's a separate control for response time.

1:33 Tf is Moba mode? Why is an ultra low saturation mode called the Moba mode? Who even needs that
Yeah, it's weird. You can basically ignore all the modes other than Racing, which for some reason is the default, most reasonable-looking one.

IPS? I thought it was a TN panel?
Nope. Definitely IPS.
It is Ahva panel ( Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle ) from au optronics. .Faster response time with the cost of some color accuracy.
