- I sold this to buy my 2020 Yamaha XSR. One of the things I don’t touch up on the video is that I did not do proper research when purchasing this bike. I sold my R1 and wanted a “Harley”, walked into the dealership and they told me what I wanted.(Should be the other way around)
The XSR that I bought was only after watching countless videos and hours of research. I have learned my lesson!

I think the biggest problem people have with their bikes is pretending they’re bike is something it’s not. Buying a fatboy, you need to have in mind that it has limited riding. It is meant for nice relaxing cruises, taking in the sound and feel of the engine, and the views of the scenery you’re passing through. It’s def not a “‘only bike” vibe.
Going from that to an XSR is crazy different, I’m glad you figured out what your needs and wants are man.
I couldn’t agree more. I unfortunately learned that the hard way. Hopefully later on in life I can have 3 bikes. R1, XSR and a Harley!
You really blew it with the worries on value going forward! That bike right now is worth as much as it was brand new.
He sure did blow it. I’m not sure why you would purchase anything like this with a worry of diminishing return…especially so quickly after the buying it.
Great post, I just bought my 2021 Fat Boy, yeah highway it moves a lot more than I expected. I ride alone or with one friend, not looking for MC, though much respect to MC clubs. After not riding in over 30 years, jumped onto my HD. I do at times regret not getting a Street Glide, but feel at 55 I can still ride a sporty HD. Let's see how I'm doing after a few years.
How's your 2021 treating you? I just purchased one. Any issues I should be looking out for? Absolutely love the way it rides!

Exactly. He needs a gimmicky bike. Quality isn’t his concern. He wants the proverbial smoke blown up his ass with useless accessories instead of a quality bike.
Man you’re making a big mistake I just bought a23 fatboy it has cruise control as stock what are you smoking the gauges are great the bike is great
FLFBS , is a terminator,, 114, i bought,the,same,stuff you,did, hmm, looked like yours, ex cept twisted red wicked cherry, put all the stuff on, then out it on the shelf,lol, put 14in. Meathooks , Blow exhaust, wide open, power vision, arlen monster suker intake, took off back seat, , , Badass hotrod, 😎

Hi ! I'm seriously intending to purchase the FBoy, but just found your video. oops! do you mind to describe the main pros and cons of that bike. one and main one of yours is that after 100m/h a lot of vibration . any others ? thx in advance for your advice regarding the volubility of purchasing FB
I think I mentioned all of them on the video. Vibration at higher speeds. (90mph+). Of course I know that this bike was not made to go a fast. But every once in a while I like that adrenaline rush and it’s just not fun or safe doing that on the Fatboy. The second biggest would be it just has no tech. The gauge is old looking. There is no traction control. Or speed modes. Now. I’m just being extra picky. Obviously I bought the bike for a reason. It looked really good, sounded good, overall felt good. It just doesn’t have any WOW factor I guess. I was blinded by it being a “Harley” that I didn’t really make a list of things my bike needed to have before I bought it. Learned my lesson. My XSR is everything I’ve ever wanted on a bike. Good luck!
@@erickflores01 good morning and very appreciated for your opinion. I’m not a speedy man thats why facing towards Harley. I’ve got old springer and love it but wanna second one a slightly modern . The nowadays everything is locked down and we haven’t chance to ride around Europe thus only city ride remains

I have a 2021 and have ridden 90+ mph and can say there is zero vibrations! Seems they got that ironed out!
I also have a 2019 MT09 for my crazy thrills!!
