- Today I review the 2018 Harley-Davidson Fatboy. This bike is packing the 107 cubic inch engine from Milwaukee and is an absolute torque monster. A stab of the throttle and you get a visceral and fun acceleration from the bike. I only rode this bike briefly so these are my first impressions of this beast. My only other HD experience has come from riding the Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 and a Sportster 1200 Custom before so this was my first dive into the Softail lineup.

Talk about torque, I have a 2018 Fatboy 114, and the first time I gunned it I almost had a Wild E Coyote situation where the bike shoots forward and I'm hanging in the air with a "welp" sign in my hand. I LOVE my bike!!
This thing is violent, I like it. 😂 I just got this exact bike last week. It is very violent and that white is sexy AF it grew on me. It has metal flakes in it and it shines in the sun. I came from a gsxr 6 and that bike makes that 6 seem like it has no power. The Harley Davidson is crazy powerful.
Here's a question: Does it have torque?
I think it's a fun bike that you can actually turn into a highway bike fairly easily.

At 8:44, you may hear the left foot pedal scraping the ground..not designed for easy cornering... you cannot lean the bike to the side that much..
I had a Triumph Thunderbird 1600, its engine did seem stout the whole bike reminded me of a bulldog, but the weight was about 40# more than than that bike, which Thunderbird were you comparing with? I was wondering how it compared on the hwy doing 70+ to the thunderbird. I see you ride them like you stole them (I'm surprised that driver in the white car didnt get upset with you).
I see so many people say is clumsy and cumbersome- this video proves that its not? I haven’t ridden it yet, but damn. Maybe other riders are too afraid to really test it?

How did you find the turning on this bike? Does the 240 rear and 160 front make it clumsy?
Keithulhu L7 no actually it transitions very quickly, you’ll see me scrape the floorboards and twirling it around fairy quickly near the end, it’s a very agile bike, you don’t feel the weight on the front end at all.
Do you feel it shaking ( wind on the freeway) from the solid disc wheels.
Great question, absolutely not, we were riding in 70km/h cross winds and it was never an issue.
Race the thunder bird with fat boy 114 - then may be it will be faster
