Out of the box my 572 whoops up on my 2 372 xp saws. It will soon surpass my 576 non auto tune in power. It is my new favorite saw. Wow!

I just bought the new 572xp with a 28" bar and a full house x-cut chain, the thing is nasty mean and I absolutely love it! 💯

A lot of times the choice between a 562XP or a 572XP just comes down to how often you will use the saw. If you're using it daily then the 572XP is worth the extra money.

Inboard vs outboard clutch I would say the sprocket is still in the same line. I wouldn't think the outboard clutch on the 562 would make the saw thinner. The sprocket still needs to line up directly with the bar. Just my thoughts, great video very informative.

The sprocket does need to line up directly with the bar as you mentioned. And when you move the sprocket inward you also move the bar inward which moves the weight of the bar inward closer to the handle. It all ads up to make the saw a bit easier to maneuver and roll around for its size. The inboard clutch and slightly slanted cylinder to give clearance to a shorter front handle are some features that Husqvarna loves to point out because it helps to make bigger saws feel lighter since it takes less effort and arm travel to roll them.

Thanks for the comparison. I'm trying to decide between the 562 or the 572. I think the 572 is bigger than I really need but it seems to be built better. Not sure that's worth the extra weight in an all around saw.

I was in the same boat before the 572 came out, glad I waited and went with 572. I just love it.

Is there a usually a charge to update firmware? Haven't inquired about that yet? So never have had it done. She rips tho! Be running it tomorrow.

That really depends on the dealer. Some dealers charge for it, some do updates for free if the saw was bought from them or is in for service, and then there's a lot of others in between that. It doesn't take long to do on newer AutoTune saws so even if they charge it should not be much.

My 562 ended a bad case of CAD.

Apparently the 572 is having issues with crank bearing failures due to poor QC
