    I am planning on buying a couple of these, cut the protective paper out between the coil, stick them to the hand guards of my bike. The hand guards have holes in it so I'm hoping that the air that flows in through the hand guards and through the coil would be warm enough to keep my finger tips warm during winter rides. I am planning to power these with 12v instead of 5v to make them heat more.
    If this doesn't work I would be wrapping the heating pads around my hand grips and covering it with heat shrinks.
    Thanks for the video. It was full of all the specs I needed.

    was there any side effect of this product. it's great that this exists, but I'm afraid of catching fire for long term use.

    How long it takes for a 10.000mAh power bank from full to empty? If i add 2, the time is half?

    I wish they heat little more extra and take 1.5 amps to 1.75 amps for harsh cold weather in canada. Badly in need of these.

      you can use larger ones or two, three of them, check ebay or aliexpress, but you will need larger capacity PowerBank with 3A current

    Junk! This is totally useless in case of cold weather emergencies. Thanks for the demo. I’ll save my money.

    Could something like this be used to unfreeze car locks? Would be simple to drill a hole to the door panel and route the wire trough to the door storage with a bigger powerbank.

    Is it possible to make it even hotter?

    • @michaelcastro5339
      @michaelcastro5339 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      more volts will make it hotter, but depending on surface area it might catch on fire if it gets too hot.

    • @billyjones9045
      @billyjones9045 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably wont get to hot with a tiny usb power source..try a 12 v motorcycle jacket. Mine gets too hot on high. I'm trying to find a 12 v battery to run it with out the motorcycle battery

    is there a cool pad like that? I mean flat and it doesn't need a water system like peltier but more flat and it can be bended.
    I'm sorry for my bad english

    • @satixaxr4385
      @satixaxr4385 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aria Witjaksono I don’t think so, you’d need somewhere to put all that heat being taken from the pad in order to make it cold so it’ll be difficult to make it cold without having some kind of good heat sink

    So on a 10000mAh battery this would last 82 minutes?

    • @jckeddy
      @jckeddy 5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I do believe you are incorrect I think this is how to calculate it. 112 mAh/7.3min.=15.3 mAh per minute, 10000 mAh/15.3 mpm=653.6 mAh/60 min.= 10.9 hours.

    • @petercohen3966
      @petercohen3966 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jckeddy Well, that's a more respectable duration.

    I bought a defective Chinese cloth heat pad and it malfunctioned melted every bit of plastic it came near, then burned out. I loveef it in my coat at my navel area, where both coat pockets meet and it warmed me from head to toe.

    • @lunchie80

      It's to show temperature when the pad is insulated and not in open air. Like if it was inside a lined jacket or something. Think harder.
