Would the battery pack pouch fit a battery pack that's 5.5 inches x 3 inches x 0.79 inches (14 cm x 7.62 cm x 2 cm)?
It might. We didn't have anything around with those exact dimensions, however, we did get pretty close. The pocket can probably take the thickness. It'll take the pocket close to its limit on the side stretch. However, the bigger issue is the length of your battery pack. 5.5" is kinda tall. You might be able to just barely get the cable plugged. Again, we have something close but not exact to those dimensions. Our setup is just a bit off.. But it also depends on where your USB port located on the pack. You might wanna look into a small USB cable extension, perhaps? Just to make sure you'll be good. Two things: the pocket, we've seen them get stretched way out and even become nearly useless(ours is still good but maybe in a couple years?). Also, the USB extension might stop you from ruining the cable on the unit. Especially because without an extension and a pack that size you'll be bending the cable a lot right at the base of the plug and it may break faster. Ours is already looking a bit creased below the USB plug on the cable. Also some things to consider.. Safety. They say not to sleep with it on and not to cover it completely or lay on it or sit on it... The pack does get hot, The wire too. You'll smell a little like, burning plastic or electronics at times. I think after some time, with continued use it goes away but it is concerning at times. My Wife wears two while we're out but only in front, not on her back because it'll be pinned between her and the seat in the car(if we're driving someplace). Wearing it in front with a coat on isn't much better but it seems to be okay, for now at least. Also, a longer USB extension would allow a bigger battery pack and youll maybe be able to use a pant/coat pocket to hold the pack? Not ideal but an idea.. Not a great one but, eh. We also own a zippo warmer that uses lighter fluid and we'll be posting a video on it vs this battery unit, hopefully tomorrow or today. This sunbeam unit is okay but you may need more than one

I bought the same unit. Got it home, plugged it into the wall socket, turned it on, clicked to high and realized I got ganked, this is one worthless piece of apparadai..do not buy this unless you want to go to Walmart and stand in the returns at customer service for a half an hour with all the douche bags..
