This guy must have been flying to hop the curb, take down a light pole and crash land upside down in a porch. Super Dave was dispatched in his 40ton rotator to handle this delicate job after the previous “light duty” company couldn’t get it out. Light duty refers to regular passenger vehicles, and a flatbed (rollback) or small wheel lift tow truck is dispatched. Since we have the exclusive heavy duty contract, we only get called when a heavy wrecker or rotator is needed. This is for all the “I could have done that with a 1ton” guys that are inevitably going to comment.
Dave was joined by Vicente, our light duty expert, to transport the vehicle once it was out of the porch. Dave used our BA car recovery straps to lift the car out of the porch without causing any further damage to the porch or surrounding building structure. Once it was out of harms way and onto the street, he rigged again to flip the vehicle on all four tires.

I've had the Premium Account for 3-4 months now but have decided it's not worth it. TH-cam keeps recommending videos I've already watched; not just a few but way to many. Hey, Josh - thanks for the vid. I've seen that black truck once or twice in your upload - nice to see it again. I only have youtube and don't care to make accounts everywhere, thats maybe because i am not that young anymore and to much to handle because of illness. I have a lot from normay where i am from and some from usa and canada and in europe. Think thats enough. I love your vids and you and Alex is great to watch. I know a bit on hevvy rescue but it's always good to watch on how others do the work and find solutions on a problem. Cheers mate. Oh and by the way i watch in on pc that is stationary - connected with hdmi to hifi soundreceiver with 4 speakers and then to 55 inch tv screen 🙂 best picture and sound. Thanks for breaking in and setting the scene. You truly do have a family business. You and your dad no matter how busy you are between editing scheduling, and just making sure Pepes Towing is the premier recovery team in California, you find a way to make sure you stay at the top of your gams.

WOW, it looks like that Audi took out the main transformer for that building and knocked over the main electrical cabinets, that house the main breaker and meter. that apartment will not have power for a while!

Welcome Dave, please keep explaining what you are planning in regards to how you are hooking and the benefit to using a chain & belt, Alex (my favourite) & Josh most of the time use Ropes from the rims so there is no damage to the wheels. When I saw the black truck (my favorite vehicle from Pepe's Towing Service fleet), I assumed that Big Flipper was not available for Alex to use. I didn't immediately recognize that it wasn't Alex's voice, but realized that the arm tattoos were not his. Dave has been in a number of videos but usually doesn't say too much -- he lets his good work speak for him. We'll probably see more night videos from Dave with his truck (which also looks very nice when lit up). Dave did a nice job and should be encouraged to continue filming and narrating some content for the channel.
I'm sure you guys see a lot of crazy stuff, but "AC condenser hanging from a tree" has to be a rare one

What I wanna know is, where is that tree guy, when suddenly a company decides to completely deforest a forest of trees, just so they could make a bunch of paper? No, he only shows up when he wants to bust the balls of a good person, as they all get paid off by those companies to deforest a forest. Then later they will come back and say, see, its ok, because we got the local high schoolers planting hundreds of trees to make it all green again. Sure, keep telling yourself that.

I pay for no ads and I think it's $13 bucks for premium. Had two Sirius sat radios and dumped them for TH-cam music channel. No more 50 of the same songs a month - by by Sat radio. Dave did a awesome job , well done.

Given the increased number of hybrid and/or full EV vehicles on the roads today, what changes will Pepes Towing Service make if any, when dealing with this type of service call?
I can only speak from a motorsport perspective, but I'm guessing in a crash like this it'd be kind of similar where fire/rescue make it safe using the HV disconnect before a recovery vehicle goes anywhere near it. There are usually rescue/recovery guidelines published by manufacturers for new vehicles that cover stuff like this

How fast was this person going? This is crazy, it’s one thing to crash into but to flip it in this spot is just crazy.
YT Premium? Yes. I abandoned commercial TV because I couldn't stand the commercials. Dave, you did a great job with the descriptions and what sounded like you were talking to yourself. Remember, don't answer yourself. I enjoyed the video and the one the spot video. Felt like Dave was talking to me. Editing was so smooth, it was hard to notice the transitions.

I’ve seen Alex pull a car from inside a house and then there’s the cement truck.
