The most beautiful melody is an amazing transformation of one of the harshest. A great example of Liszt's metamorphosis of themes. Once you realise, is one of the most wonderful examples of this in all music.

How great is this workkk 😭😭 Really enjoyed his performance as well, pretty passionate. Also really glad you’re revisiting stuff…there’s only so much one can take on first listen…familiarity is a core element of music and its effect on us…to remember a piece, a melody, a passage, wtvr, and then once again hear it become…it fulfills these works…they need/deserve that

Let's check Liszt's Dante Sonata played by Arcadi Volodos in Vienna. That is completely breathtaking when it goes to virtuosity and power and on the other hand the beauty in the sound is unbelievable

Bro, it’s fantastic to have witnessed your understanding and appreciation for the classical genre grow in real time. I’m curious as to whether you’ve ever revisited any of the pieces in your own time outside of recording these videos? Keep up the good work - always love to see these videos!

It’s just so very refreshing to see anyone find a passion for classical music.. Appreciating the height of musical endeavor and gorgeous melodies from Europe and Russia post Renaissance.
There will never be another classical period in music and it’s vital folks like you keep it alive and pass that passion on to others who know not what they’re missing.
You’re the only comprehensive critique and individual providing multiple reactions to this genre 😇🤗

I love that a piece as complex and dramatic as this has such a slow and open sounding (?) ending.
People have always gotta cough at the worst times though..

It wouldn't be classical music if a 98 year old grandma isn't coughing up a lung during the adagissimo passage

The B-Minor Sonata is my favorite piece of music. Listening to it is like revisiting the most strange and beautiful dream I ever had. I'm so grateful that I live in an age where I can listening to countless different versions of this piece any time I want.

Oh god yes, actually kind of surprising he hasn't done any yet considering his love for Beet. I would probably recommend starting with one of the following: 8, 17, 21, 23 or 30, with 30 being my favourite of the bunch (although not my favourite Sonata in general, that'll forever be 32, though I wouldn't recommend that one as a first listen lol)
