Eventually, on the next time it’s about to go from E to A, the little lead guitar lick is replaced with a pinch harmonic and a single hit of the china to let people know it’s gonna get heavy. The guitar starts utilizing palm muted power chords in drop E with the top 3 strings of 8 string guitar to do the main riff. The time signature goes from 200 to 100 BPM. Syncopated kick under each chug. When the riff hits the final A# note before repeating itself, let an open chord ring out instead of a palm mute, add double bass and a china. On the 2nd and 4th repeats of the breakdown riff, combo the open power chord into a pinch harmonic. The song will end after the pinch harmonic of the 4th repetition. How do you feel about this vision of mine?

Some people will say "but u can't see anything with that light settings, it's too dark" But bruh, this is DOOM 1993! It was meant to be dark, it was a game released as a horror-action super videogame. It was meant to be dark sometimes and even scary (for the standards in those years), and obviously in a remake with DOOM eternal engine, modders will try to keep that dark ambience that you felt when playing it back in the 90's! You may see screenshots pretty well illuminated, and a lot of that is because of sourceports and stuff, try plugging a SNES/MEGADRIVE GENESIS/PSX into a CTR TV and you will notice it's really darker, even on an old monitor with MS-DOS you can still see everything darker Devs tried to bring back the scary part of DOOM with DOOM 64 first and then DOOM 3+Exp, but ofc realized there are more fans of the action part of the franchise, more than the scary part. They basically noticed we were all psychopaths who wants to rip and tear guts of demons with gore ambience and Heavy/Thrash/Death/Black/Nu Metal playing in the backhround.

I only just now noticed that custom levels in Doom Eternal exist; I know they were definitely not a thing in the game's early years (the most was custom Master Levels in preexisting levels).

I got to say that my first impression was that doom was quite ugly with those big sprites and ugly graphic, but when I started to get into the game that was so different and "deep" confronted with other games, I was really engaged, despite the awful graphic, the atmsphere was so well done, so I don't think that people looked at it like a graphic wonder, but like a game wonder, for the gameplay totally different and immersive with the unique prospective and the fast and so fearful action that made it a masterpiece. In fact many game were similar to doom after that, but noone had that balance in gameplay to be like that.

E1M1 is extremely linear. While the reputation that other, later levels have for being mazey and fairly difficult to navigate is well earned, I'm pretty sure after playing it once most people could go through E1M1 blindfolded, even in a remake.

Man, that FOV is too much. I play games with either 90 or 95 FOV, depends on how it was implemented in to the game and that's it. But in some instances even 80 is enough. But this here.. it's too much. By just watching video it gives me motion sickness.
Oh sweet, someone modded the weapons to have actually reasonable ammo reserves I know everyone keeps saying it's good design that incentivizes rotating weapons, but I always just found it annoying in Eternal
You have to have the Pistol Mod installed along with the E1M1 level and the level will give you the pistol on start up. Most of the skins I used are on Mod Loader, like the Combat Shotgun, the SSG, but others that aren’t I’m still using the Mod Injector for them.

The map and the enemies look amazing! But the movements looked much too fast and jumpy (like CS, and I hate CS gameplay style) and I'm not a big fan of flashy stuff in the screen (the shields, enemies glowing, some of their movements/hits also flash...stuff like that). It gives me a WoW/Fortnite vibe, it takes off a bit of the horror aspect that Doom's known for having. Nonetheless, I'd still play the shit out of it X)
@@brandonm4913 Most of em are, when making the Classic Overhaul Mod, I tried to tweak it to where it’s close to Classic DOOM in terms of shots to kill, but at times that meant if I made fodder die in one shot to some guns, the bigger heavy/super heavies would die to too few shots. I think I nailed the damage values though, SSG and Rocket are weapons I did not touch damage values for, since by default they resembled Classic DOOM (SSG taking down Cacos and Mancubus in 3 shots like in Classic sometimes 2 if you’re point blank though).

@@JPDD2 I really need to make a tutorial, but to play levels like these you go where DOOM Eternal is on your steam library, click the gear to the right, properties, then find betas, there should be a drop down near the top of the little window, you want to click on “mod preview”, close the window and it should auto download the mod portal so you can go and install mods.
Does your character have rockets strapped to his back? How does he move so dang fast? I don't consider it an improvement on the game. It's like you're a pinball bouncing around the hallways

The lowering of levels is good instead, I don't like the button push animation, it should be faster, maybe it's only me.

Next time you boot DOOM Eternal a launcher will pop up, go to the mods tab, log in with your Bethesda Account, download the mods you want, then go to play mods and set em to active, then click play with mods.

@@JPDD2 I really need to make a tutorial, but to play levels like these you go where DOOM Eternal is on your steam library, click the gear to the right, properties, then find betas, there should be a drop down near the top of the little window, you want to click on “mod preview”, close the window and it should auto download the mod portal so you can go and install mods.

@@muricaneagle666 I like how it resembles the original pace of doom II, the animation of the button pushing of the button is classy, but to me it should be faster, immediate like in the origina game. The lowering of levels is good instead, I don't like the button push animation, it should be faster, maybe it's only me.

Next time you boot DOOM Eternal a launcher will pop up, go to the mods tab, log in with your Bethesda Account, download the mods you want, then go to play mods and set em to active, then click play with mods.
