  • Alright, now here's a new indoor grow light for plants that surprised me! The ViparSpectra Pro Series p2000 led grow light is here and the par test numbers are so much better than I thought they would be. This led grow light is solidly build with no moving parts like cooling fans. That means there are less things to go wrong and more things to go right for your plants. They use heat sink technology and the led light board is covered in an array of light colors to give your indoor grow plants a full spectrum of light including, infrared diodes. This grow light even has a dimmer switch, which increases it's functionality. A really nice budget grow light from the ViparSpectra company.

    Hello! Newbie here. Did first time grow over summer and was extremely successful. Didn’t have a huge yield but was amazed that the more time I spent with the plants and cared for them the better they were. Huge understatement to say I was bitten by the grow bug.
    Outdoors was a great experience, but it became clear early on, indoors is the way to go. I bought a pro2000 and have just started. I will be watching. Thanks man!

      Hello, I am totally new to growing and am about a month from my first harvest. I only have 1 plant atm but I have plenty of good seeds waiting to go. What type of medium did you use and what height did you hang your lights through its stages?

    Just received this light yesterday. Was very curious about this exact info about par value at certain heights for my new born baby girls! I have a 4x4 to veg out until June then the ladies go outside. Nice to put a table in the tent and adjust the brightness for preferred par at different stages! Your info is saving my back, and money! Great review👍these quantum boards are really the future with LED technology. The efficiency rating is off the charts and are affordable with a very competitive price tag. Compared to Mars Hydro these are built like tanks and have the practical controller nob on the side which even the expensive ones are missing, you have to mess about with a dam screw driver to achieve the correct setting! Viparspectra have really upped their game here, yeah sure it's not an Electric Sky or a HLG 650R but they are very expensive and more aimed at proper commercial growers. For the money they are an excellent choice and good bang for your buck.

    I just bought a few used viparspectra p4000 grow lights. I am using them to start vegetable seedlings. What would you recommend as far as height above seedlings at different stages of growth and what setting to adjust dimmer know at different growth stages? Also how many hours do they need each day to off ratio? Thanks

    • @MikeKincaid79
      @MikeKincaid79  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      P4000 are pretty intense for seedlings. I'd raise them up 3 or 4 feet from the plants and have 100 to 150 watts running through them if you can turn them down. These LEDs are fantastic but you have to adjust due to how intense they are.
