The Viparspectra P2000 is an excellent small grow light for the money. The Viparspectra P series are a very nice design, great build quality, good efficiency and packed with lots of features such as on board dimming and coated LEDs for protection from dust and moisture.

    Overview
The Viparspectra have moved on from making ‘blurple’ LED grow lights with this new P series. It is a very welcome change and I am happy to see no more of the noisy box fan LEDs emitting purple light. The Viparspectra P2000 is a 200watt LED grow light suitable for a 4ft x 2ft (120cm x 60cm) space. It has all the features you would want including:
    High Efficiency
High quality LED driver by SOSEN
Full spectrum (grow from seed to harvest)
LEDs protected with a silicone coating
On board dimming from 5% to 100% output
    Recommended Coverage: 4ft x 2ft (1.2m x 0.6m)
    At 200 watts the P2000 is specified for a 4ft x 2ft or 1.2m x 0.6m grow area.
    Features
The fixture is very high quality in construction, easy to setup and hang and has on board dimming
    LEDs and Spectrum output
The Viparspectra uses cool white 5000K and warm white 3000K LEDs as well as 660nm reds and far red LEDs to deliver a balanced Full spectrum designed for full cycle growing from seed to harvest
    MIGRO Test results
The power consumed at the wall was 197 watts and the average PAR of 547 µmols/m²/sec in a 4ft x 2ft (1.2m x 0.6m) grow area means the Viparspectra P2000 has a real world system efficiency of 2.00 µmols/watt (usable PPF/watt). A very good result for a grow light in this price range.

The wires for hanging them are fine. If you make a loop with each one, by attaching both ends to the same point on the case. That cuts the drop in half, and I have had zero issues with them by doing that.

I leave the bottom of my tent open and exhaust out the top. Also added an ac unit to the room. Im running a 4x4 so it might be a bit taller that your 4x2. Mine is just over 6' tall. I really need to exhaust out the window instead of the room. When the plants get big they put alot of moisture into the air and even the ac has trouble dealing with it.

Nice Shane! Another great P series option in a 4X2? I run 3 P 1000's in mine during flower(2 for veg), it's perfect cause I have 3 plants so each one has it's own light. Plus the price for them is crazy low now (under $70 each).

I've had this light for about 9 months now and it has been doing very well for me considering the price. I have used it in both a 2x4 and a 3x3, and judging by how that par map looks, it should have pretty good coverage in the 3x3 as well. I, and probably lots of other people, would love to see how most lights cover the non-recommended sized areas like using a 2x4 light in a 3x3 space and vice versa. I'd also be curious to see how this light would do in a 2.5x3.5 area, I'm guessing that would be this lights sweet spot for average par. Love all your content and keep up the great work Shane.

We have 3 of The P-150's and I've always been impressed. Great heat sink, yet most boards were just Aluminum then!
I noticed a great "trick" to provide more hanging height, like Shane mentions momentarily. The 2 holes on each side of the fixture from where the cable's should hang, seemed a similar size apart from each other, like older HID(HPS/MH), AC reflectors with the traditional "V" clip hangers?
They worked great! With the still available, inexpensive "V" clips fitting perfectly. With 2 "V" clips you can actually hang the fixture from the top bars of the tent!
This was a big advantage at the time! Fixtures are still running great today!!!👍

Well the p2000 will run you around $170 on the viparspectra website but if you get it from Amazon without the code you will pay about $150. But wait there is more the p2000 pales in comparison with the larger p2500 which is also available on Amazon for $170 so to put that in perspective you can get a much larger and better value light for the same price as the smaller p2000 on Amazon right now. Though I believe the code will only work on the viparspectra website. However you will save a ton of money buying it on Amazon and if you wanna get one even cheaper than that you can go to the viparspectra p2500 and look for new/used section and get one for $150. I have 3 p2500 and 1 p2000 models in my 7×4 grow room. Let me tell you there is nothing more valuable on the market today than these lights. In fact the reason why the endorsed migro to show this light and not the newest Xs series of lights viparspectra made after these. Is because he had already done a review for the Xs series and when he compared it to the pro series. He found that the older model pro series were better in every way. I would imagine in lue of this he was asked to remove that old video.

See if they'll send ya a p600 Shane. The price is a ridiculous bargain and would seem the way to go in terms of coverage spread if you scaled them to your grow size. Thanks for the work you do Shane!

Those par readings are all over the tent. This is a terrible light and you wanted to say it but didn't. I wish you would have put 2 of these in there but then you would have to buy one, lol. For a 2x4 tent, nothing beats the Grow Light Science, Grow 300. Par readings of 1000 in the center and 900 on the edges and corners. Now that's a good light.
