I think GoPro Ball Joint Buckle worth to mention in addition to what you already have. It's a low profile super tight ball mount in case if one needs to set the camera in some weird angle, e.g. on a helmet or on that F39 backpack buckle to make sure that GoPro points straight forward instead of pointing slightly to a side.

Great idea on those Snap Mounts! Just what I was looking for. My tip: I use a small black mesh bag that comes with small electronics to hold my Gopro when it's in my backpack so the lens doesn't get scratched scuffed or smeared. Just a simple little mesh bag a little bigger than a deck of playing cards with a drawstring. been using it for years.
I love the Snap Mounts. I have them on most of my action camera mounts. You can also use the snap mount as your POV by putting it in your mouth, like your bite mount.
I love my Dango Gripper mount!

Hi David. Thx for sharing your expertise. Unless I did miss something you didn't relate the double handle plate for Gopro and waterproof lamps you may use for underwater fun to get stable videos and photos. 😉
Another good one, David. I would argue that you should replace the Rode microphone with a DJI mic transmitter. Use the GoPro‘s built-in stereo mic for either ambience or scratch audio and use the audio captured by the DJI mic as your primary source. Of course, it’s more work and it’s more expensive, but the trade-offs work for me.
Great video like always. I find that the HSU orange float is much better than the GoPro one and it allows you to use the go pro upright. I use the head harness with the HSU for all my fishing videos plus for hunting. Do t need the float for hunting but the extra orange is nice. I agree love thr snap mounts they have updated them with locking magnetic clamps for extra security. I also love the Telesin 3 battery charger and case. It can charge 3 batteries and has storage in the lid for extra SD cards
That was some epic haul of accessories. i don't have much of chance to use my GoPro - i have the 4 i think! i bought it years ago second hand. Maybe one day I will be able to upgrade it! Although i don't really do action/sports (i am an active person, stuck in a body that barely functions! it can be exhausting).
But i am sure i could use it for when i go out - just clip it to my bag, like you did - which is what i was going to say on your last video with the bag clips, i am glad you showed the GoPro on the bag like that, cos i was wondering if that could be done!

Great video, and you made me feel better about my huge container of gopro parts, mounts and stuff. After watching this video I see a few more things I will have to add to my pile. The one thing I use that you probably don't are these plastic coated steel cables that I put on my Gopro and attach to my car or bike or helmet or where ever so if a suction mount fails or any other mount fails my Gopro is held on by a safety leash. It's just a back up so I don't have to buy a new gopro. Other than that I see snap mounts in my future. Thanks for posting this video.

I swear one of my favorite accessory is the dome and it comes with a floty!
For the chest mount, I have the updated Gopro Chesty, and it's not a bad product, but I have tested it against the Stuntman chest mount (jumping up and down), and the Stuntman seems to work quite a bit better. It holds more securely to the chest so the camera doesn't bounce around, and I think a lot of MTB POV'rs would agree, which is what I use if for. They make quite a few solid mounts. Their backpack ball joint mount might be my next purchase from them. Plus, they are right up the road in Santa Monica and all their products are made in California, which I think is pretty awesome.
(oh, and tested not just jumping up and down, ha! I've been using it on the bike for about the last year and a half or so, it's great)
I'm a huge bite mount supporter! Surfing and Fishing activities are where I use it most. If you want to narrate while shooting it may not be the best mount. Side note - Not a fan of the breathing sounds, but overall favorite mount!
Awesome video! Do you ever use any housings or cages? My 11 stays in the Ulanzi G9-14 because I am clumsy and when I go diving it goes into the GoPro dive housing.

I would have added the GoPro jaws mount as they are pretty useful for concerts and stages where they easily be mounted onto microphone stands and stage props.

The GoPro 3way original with a lanyard and sometimes the floaty for snorkeling and free diving. Just take out the tripod. Gives you a little more reach, if you want it and the lanyard saves you dropping it.
We got caught out with the snapmounts. Got them after your recommendation but the plate for the media mod isn't available in the UK. We use an external microphone all the time so it means the snapmount doesn't work for us.

Have you tried the Peak Design capture clip POV KIT with the Snap mount...whoa!!
Something not on the list: I always use a silicone lens cover because most of the time the gopro just gets tossed into my "gopro bag" with all the mounts and accessories. Larger mirrorless camera gear is organized in my camera bag, but gopro stuff is normally just tossed in a smaller carry bag. An inexpensive piece of-mind accessory for me. Hope this helps!

I have a snap mount with the GOPRO to 1/4-20 mount. I'm actually looking for a new dashboard or windshield mount. Mine has seen batter days (got it with my 4) but everything I'm finding causes an obstruction to my field of view.
Clamp mount + gooseneck is what I swear by for so many thing. My gopro, my lights, my zoom h5, my phone. Everything gets a clamp+gooseneck xD

You should try the replacement GoPro feet from Telesin. Same flipping down option but with an added 1/4 screw hole. I got that because of my MT-16.
How is the magnet that holds the flip down feet up when not in use? I made a video on a set like that awhile back, but the magnets gave out on me over time and now the feet won’t stay up

Hi David! I just found you while looking for GoPro accessories. I'm starting a new TH-cam channel in a few weeks to share my kayaking, whitewater, camping, and fishing adventures. I have no background in photography and even less in editing software. Yes, I've bought the software but haven't started on the tutorials yet. I appreciate all the tips and gadgets you shared and have a couple of questions. How would you suggest anchoring a small tripod in an inflatable kayak? This may be an off-the-wall question as I don't know if you even kayak. Also, if I were to purchase the Media Mod, would that resolve the issue of having the waterproof battery door open to insert a mic jack? Thanks in advance! For the SD card, can one use larger than 256-GB, or that’s the limit-for Hero11?
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but why is the 256GB and the 128GB recommended most over the 512GB or even the 1TB. I am curios only because I am new to GoPro and just want to make sure I am getting the right stuff.

Their Pro bundle is the best because it gets you the base unit, one straight magnetic adapter and one locking adapter. The locking adapter is awesome on more action based adventures when you don't want to just trust magnetic force!

Thanks for the info! FYI, the GoPro chest mount sucks for street biking. It is really limited and completely useless when getting up to higher speeds like 80mph to 170 mph. It won't stay in place and the wind makes it point down at the tanl. .

This might be a silly question, but does anyone know what sort of plate he was using to mount the gopro onto the backpack clip?
I notice that you don't have the Snapmounts on anything action-y. Is that intentional or it just because of the cost of each one? I'm looking to get rid of my DJI Action 2 but I admit I love the quick release functionality and I'd miss that with a GP. But can the Snapmounts for example withstand the force of being mounted upside down under bike handlebars?
Solid point Joe! Whenever I do these accessory videos, I pull al my snap mounts off the accessories so I can just show the main accessory as best as possible. For action types of shots though, I use the Snap Mount locking adapter. It fully locks in with mechanical hooks, so you can do anything with those and it's not going anywhere! Upside down on bike handlebars would be no problem at all👍

I can't find any answer for this, hoping you can help me out! Can you detach the bottom part of the GoPro 3 way and instead attach the Volta? That way you'd have the benefits of the Volta + the extendibility of the 3 way at the same time! I'm pretty sure attaching works, but not sure if it can fold properly!

Mask action camera connection is a problem especially in spearfishing. come out, it feels heavy, the mask takes water. I couldn't use it. now i am looking for a mount for gopro 10.
8:20 yeah, don't buy either of them, not wide enough to plug usb cables to power both cameras on a power bank, there are wider versions out there which lets you adjust the cameras position. backpack mount ain't that good either, because of your chest, the camera is always gonna shoot slightly outwards, there are backpack mounts out there that have a swivel joint which lets you adjust the camera angle.

Snap Mounts suck. Using on my motorcycle, the camera came off in my hand doing 40MPH. Just the pressure of turning camera on dislodged it. Luckily I was able to snag the camera as it fell. At least for 2 wheel vehicles, don’t risk using this useless mount.
