The filters themselves aren’t what adds the motion, but they enable the camera to produce it if that makes sense
When you’re outdoors, the shutter speed has to increase to reduce the amount of light getting in otherwise it becomes too bright, however a fast shutter speed means less motion blur, the ND filter reduces the light, enabling a slower shutter speed, hence the motion blur 🙂

Hero11 in the Media Mod with its wind screen, GoPro Volta (with wrist strap) GoPro The Handler (with wrist strap), 3 Enduro batteries and my 4 x SanDisk Extreme Pro 128gb SD Cards.
Everything else just adds weight and bulk.
Thanks Danny, We record 99% of our footage on a GOPRO 10 and bought a GOPRO 11 last week. We can definitely see an improvement in speed and video quality.
1. Don't use plastic or silicon cases if you shoot longer clips or shoot indoors or in heat. In fact, a Metal case can help avoid overheating so I use one all the time.
2. Both the GoPro 10 and 11 are 4K60fps cameras for the purpose of reliable operation for pro work.
3. The 5.3K60 settings are fine for very short clips but I do not rely on it for longer pro shoots where I use the GoPro as a B camera (Overheats)
4. 10bit is awesome for Flexibility color grading, If you do not color grade and have a 10 no need to upgrade for 10bit (Your final video will be 8bit) (Most people watch on 8bit screens)
5. The 10bit is 10bit with a 4.2.0 sampling rate (Not sure why GoPro does not put the sampling rate in the specs but for some, it matters)

Thanks for posting about the silicone/plastic heating! I live in a pretty hot region and didn't noticed about it. I'm getting a metal one so it can spread/cool the heat in a better way

I have the GravGrip, actually got it after seeing your video 😁 I don't use it enough cause it's an extra thing i have to carry but it is really awesome for specific shots, i should use it more😅 Also the Falcon Plus is essential for getting better shots in low light, definitely recommend it too!

Great video with lots of helpful information. I have a GoPro hero 9 and the GP subscription. It does give quite a discount for accessories BUT I found out the hard way that there is a quite a bit of duty/taxes added on when being shipped to Canada. So it doesn’t end up being such a discount after all. 😢 so back to Amazon shopping. I do love all this GP stuff! Keep making great videos.

Got myself the (3) battery charger of Maxcam. It's sold an Amazon for just €20.
It's really compact but also verry portable.
Only thing that is missing is the build in battery, but looking to it's size it could be verry good combined with an aditional battery pack, so you could charge one and another on the go.

More info on how/what to use for the phone holder on the GoPro Volta? Couldn’t tell if it was just hanging loosely with thumb screw, or if there is an actual attachment for that scenario? Thanks in advance..

Telesin necklace… Thank you! Finally I can film POV fishing scenes without flailing hands and fishing rods in the frame while utilizing the chest mount or losing all ‘action’ details using a head mount. The Telesin necklace is now ordered. Really good review! 😊👍

Hello Danny, I don't have any cam at all. I am looking at videos on affordable cams and trying to understand them. This may be stupid but please remember its all new to me. When you download your footage is it already formatted to go straight to youtube or internet? Or do you have to convert the files? I'm sorry it may be a stupid Question but I'm trying to learn and figure out what to buy. Thanks for your time.

For overheating use smartphone cooling. A metal cage also helps.

I recently got a refuel from digipower which is now available for newer GoPro's that thing is really cool and mainly it is watertight, too, so I can take it with me on my kayak.

I had a GoPro Hero Black 4 and finally my wife upgraded my camera to the 11 for Xmas. I used the old wrist strap for my 4. Wondering what’s the best wrist strap for the 11?
i do mostly underwater shots with my gopro hero 10 hehehe still it's good to know that these accessories are useful.
If you have the Falcon Plus gimbal do you still need the Gravgrip? I believed the gimbal can also do horizon lock as you raise up and down

Hello Danny. Did you really test the remote control with the hero11? I have these too - but you can't set the favorite. You can turn off the cam - but turning it on no longer works. The hero 11 must be reconnected each time it is switched off. Everything worked perfectly with the hero 10...

Inkee Falcon Plus is plagued by dead batteries in brand new units. I am on number three.
I need a good interior windshield mount that can be moved 360 degrees easily but stays in place once moved so that I can film outside over the hood and then move it on the fly to film me while driving. What is a good one for that? I have one but it doesn't stay in place once I move it to show me driving.

Another vote for the Inkee Falcon Plus. My only complaint is that you have to use the included Allen keys to mount, unmount and balance. Changing the battery is a PITA! But the gimbal is awesome!
I thought I saw a video where you can mount the camera the opposite way to leave battery compartment side exposed.
@@jasperspeckles Maybe so, but with the media mount, which we use a lot with our wireless mics, you have to remove the entire media mod to replace the battery. We've started using the USB-C port built into the media mod to charge it with a power pack when the gimbal isn't being utilized.
