GoPro relies too much on 3rd party companies to "fix" their cameras. GoPro's stock price is $2.76 and they have less than a thousand employees. DJI is private and has over 14000 employees. I'm not a fan or loyal to any company, but if am going to spend my hard earned money, it will be with a company that wants to do right by its customers. DJI is leading the way. I have owned 4 GoPros over the years (the 10 being the last one) and had issues with all of them. I have the DJI Action 3 and have never had a single issue. I don't plan on going back to GoPro anymore but I still like watching these kind of videos.
I was thinking the same, it really shows that GoPro's strategy has been to build an entire ecosystem of accessories to compensate for the camera weaknesses. Crap internal audio? No worries, let's sell a media mod accessory! Media mod drains the battery? No worries, let's sell additional batteries and a charger! Battery life sucks? No worries, let's sell Enduro batteries! Low-light performance sucks? No worries, let's sell a light mod accessory! Lens is too small? No worries, let's sell a Max Lens mod accessory! And so on lol
After watching your videos I just grabbed a go pro hero 10 because it was 249.99 USD with the kit and extra battery and based on your reviews it fit my needs. You literally saved me 300$ figuring out that the new features of the 11 and 12 really wouldn't change anything for my use case.

Sometimes a differing perspective is nice but not as a full time Dash cam! Here is an example of what I can do with my Hero8/11’s: 1 piece of AstroTurf, size approx 3x3 inches square. 2x pieces of lightweight 1/4” wood (I.E., pine) angle cut from point to approx 2-3 inches height and 6” inches length. Glued with popsicle sticks into a ramp. The ramp serves as unobtrusive cover for the GoPro. A small battery supply connected via short length of wire (USB to USB C, for example) to provide ample power continuity to the GoPro camera. The set up is placed approximately 10 feet forward of the pee wee/little league batter box. A video of all the kids when at bat is a treasure! All parents must sign to approve each child or the video, of the disapproving parents, is deleted! A keepsake video for the parents, as all kids are permitted how ever many swings to make a connect with the ball! This can be set up easily for an actual game or even just a practice session!
the only problem with that 3way mount is TSA is always searching my bag thinking it's a switch blade. to the point where I rather not travel with it just for the hassle of getting my bag opened
So I bought a few F22 mounts plus the GoPro/DJI quick release mount to put on my hero9. Question I have is if there’s anything to make my camera go vertical rather than horizontal? I have an L mount but was hoping there was something else out there….
I sort of think the L mount is the only way to go, unless you bring in something like a full on SmallRig cage where you can mount the feet on the side or bottom. On the Hero 12, you don’t have to do any of that because of how good the built in vertical mode is. Hold the camera in landscape mode and you still get a killer vertical shot
On your recommendation from the video about the Falcam Magnetic base..... I bought 2 bases one for the Gopro 11 and one for the Gopro 12..... I would never go back to the original setup..... The Falcam is SOOOO much better.... Why do you think that the new Bluetooth Audio feature isn't being talked about much on the GoPro 12? I think that this is a game changer for Moto Vloggers or Skateboard Vloggers or any Vlogger that wears a helmet.... I did some testing with my Sena headset and it came out quite well in audio.... Well better than the system I was using to record voice, and much cleaner wires wise.... Anyway while I understand that its not a huge feature as such I do think it is bigger than what most of the reviewers and users realise.... Any thoughts?

Hi David and friends, I am looking for an audio adapter with a USB-C passthrough for DJI Action 4 for longer motovlogging sessions so I can plug in a mic and a power bank at the same time without needing to worry about changing batteries. Something like Synova audio adapter they used to have for Action 1. Please suggest. Thanks!
What do I do if I already have all this :O get a life? I would have some mounts that make the gopro go vertical, yeah H12 has that you can make the lens vertical but it is not as wide as actually turning the camera.

I think you haven't mentioned a MUST accessory and that is GOPRO THE REMOTE.
