Nice. Enjoy riding it
Strictly about the design, the IV and the VI are just fabulous. The newer generations evolved but given a choice, I'd stick with IV every time.
A standard IV should be boosting to 0.9 bar.
I notice yours has the additional Mitsubishi gauges near the gearstick, they are quite sought after.
Little work and... hell yeah. I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage and wanted to make it look like the evolution iv (my favorite evolution). But I’m broke af.
Yeah man the prices for all evo parts are starting to get pricey sadly. And the cars are getting expensive.
How was the registration process ? Is it straight forward like any other USDM vehicle ? I recently came upon the chance to purchase a truly stock Evo 4 that is essentially fresh off the boat. But I am super hesitant as I do not want to purchase it only to end up having to jump through a ton of unexpected hoops and fees.
The best EVO IMHO
Sweet ride. 🚗
the rear frame rails may look good but it was super common for the Japanese to undercoat the frame rails to disguise the bad rust.
Good to know thanks! Ive actually just finished doing a metal stripper on the whole underside of the car and did a undercoat turned out real nice.
Remember me when you are famous
Check chassis legs for rust and being an Evo 4 check for crankwalk, play on the crank, thats the main issue with 4s. Get a 5 - 9 engine if thats the case.
Yep there is no crank walk thankfully. The legs on the car a re really good not dents rust. The car this winter has been completely restored and has almost no rust left! Thanks for your tips.
Let me know if you need to know something, have mine for years, not with the original engine anymore.
@@spiritofcompetition6281 Oh nice thanks man! this evo community has been great so far everyone is extremely helpful
@@JonathanGT10 the best community!
I like it... woow... 🇱🇰
did the last owner not give you the front evo 4 lip for the front bumper?
No it broke off when the past owner had it sadly. but I just bought a full bumper with fog lights and a lip!
@@JonathanGT10 that is awesome, yeah, I had a mirage evo IV clone. I wished I got a real one but none the less, sweet car man. Keep up the good work, I want to see the build you do on it.
@@YangkuzaCreations Thanks love the support
Evo IV is Emperor.
He’ll yeah!
Awesome car! How much did you pay for the car and import fees if you don't mind my asking? Looking to import an evo V myself when they become legal in 2023
Grade 2) 1 million yen 300000km so about $14000
@@coopsnz1 I mean ¥1,000,000 is only about $9k USD, was it really $5k in import fees?
@@jaggerjdm9787 shipping costs " compliance. Australia the same but less shipping costs we closer to Japan
@@jaggerjdm9787 1 milion yen is $9400usd
@@jaggerjdm9787 + aucton fess & bidders fee at auction thee more costs. It not 1 milion yen private sale bro more than that
Corona conpirasiont
What has maintenance cost been like?
Not to crazy honestly I own an importing company so I import all my stuff from japan. Probably 1k-1.5k tops and that's with stuff I didn't really need to do just stuff I wanted to. Good question:)
@@JonathanGT10 . Thats honestly not that bad. Once cars start becoming above $3,000 a year to maintain is pretty much my cut off.
@@joelstatosky1817 Yeah its done me good. Honestly these are decently still cheap in the jdm world. Have a awesome community as well

Really need to work on the camera movement.
Yeah it’s a really old video haha. If you watched some of my newer stuff the quality is 100 times better got a nice camera now and way better filming skills.
