I am normally an indoor skating and really good. I just recently decided to skate outdoors. So much fun. However I skate with a broom in my hands to sweep the debris out the way. The neighbors love that I am cleaning the streets. Lol
I'm watching this after breaking my wrist while I was extremely drunk while roller skating at my local skate park I'm 3 days into my healing period and I'm now beginning to realise the importance of these type of videos and safety gear I'm not proud of my accident but its definitely knocked some sense into me about just how dangerous skating can be
In the Midwest in a farming community and I have to literally drive places to skate. I generally choose bike trails or large empty parking lots. An elementary school down the street for me has a great one I’ll skate in on the weekends when kids aren’t there. There is a roller rink an hour away from me so I never really go there but when I can I like to. Roller skating where I live is next to impossible tbh.
Getting outdoor wheels was the best thing I could ever do for my skating journey! I figured I would invest in them, (because as you know, in these COVID times) all the roller rinks have been closed so outdoor skating is my own option haha
I've been a street skater for roughly my whole 168 days of skating this year and any time i've skated before that. Getting Fundae wheels has changed so much for me, I wouldn't reccomend them for beginner street skaters but i'm able to cruise fast and still jam skate!! Street skating is a great skill to have because it keeps you very mindful of yourself and your surroundings. :-)
For newbies! I have the quad impalas, and bought red glitter Atom Pulse 78a 65mm wheels and they are so amazing for bumpy/ rough asphalt streets, side walk cracks, debris like fallen leaves and lil pebbles, ****some**** sand patches, grass (to walk on), lil twigs and such, thinks like tiny acorns, yeah! I’ve been using them since March 2021 - super good investment for y’all

@@casualviewer2000 The plate is made of aluminum on the vegan ones, for small and very light weight people like me, the skates are too heavy and less handy. Clearly not my first choice.

The only bridge I've crossed varied between tiny gaps and 2" gaps throughout. I definitely had to side step across that bad boy. There was no consistency between the gaps, so it wasn't safe to go across with speed💜

Those look like the wheels they came with. They said (in a previous video) that they aren’t suitable for a skatepark, so maybe that’s what you’re thinking of? The wheels on the Rainbow Riders are soft enough to use outdoors 😊
I did not change my wheels, they are great for the outdoors as they are hybrid wheels and can be used on various surfaces. These skates are not recommended for aggressive skate park skating.
Hi moxi I really want to know when the beach bunnies will restock I would want the watermelon ones put they seem sold out everywhere pls can u let us have an idea when they will be restocked it would be very handy 💕
We hope you are enjoying your Beach Bunny skates! The wheels that come on them are great for outdoor skating- you can switch to a softer outdoor wheel if you'd like more "cushion" or an even smoother ride. I recommend the Energy outdoors which we have in stock now! 😊
Okay so I absorbed your video and hit the streets out there and I kind of have a couple of things that i want to add that you might find helpful that I don't think you mentioned. So I gained speed to go over those Lego bricks at the end of the curb. But then out of the corner of my eye I saw a car lol. And i had to veer off my path and hug a stop sign. Also I am definitely a beginner and I think that what scares me the most is not being prepared in the change in surfaces as far as how the street feels and how the ground feels. I know that's just something that needs to be experienced. But not knowing how the terrains going to change make it a little hard to move from the sidewalk to the street easily even if you stagger. Also if you fall in the middle of the street its a little scary. Knowing how to fall properly is one thing. But trying to figure out how to get your ass up after you just ate it on some weirdly uneven ground is a little embarassing and scary. However I really enjoyed your video and it helped me understand a lot of things that I would have had to do for trial and error so thank you very much for that
Yeah, I started skating outside, and my road isn’t the best, and I fell flat on my back so hard my glasses bounced off my face!) from hitting what was apparently more of a slope than I thought 😬
