Normally these "how to skate outside" videos irritate me to no end because the person is there explaining how to skate on uneven surfaces while standing on the smoothest promenade EVER! But not Katie 😂, that's some proper normal surfaces one would find outside! I loved this and picked up some good hints (especially the one foot lemons)! Keep up the good work
YES! I am struggling to skate on the surfaces where I live. They are so bumpy and chipped and you name it. Every time I go out to try, I get caught up the instant I start to go. I have 78a wheels, but I still can't get rolling on that rough surface. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I know it has to be me and not the wheels. If anyone reads this, can you please give me some advice on how to START rolling on the rough surfaces?
Finally an instruction video that is not shot on perfectly flat pavement! Thank you, I'm so excited to start skating but I've had a hard time finding good places to practice as I don't have a garage/basement and live right in the city center
I just wish I could practice in a place like the one you are filming, it seems so peaceful and in your shots there are no people behind haha Seems like every time I wanna go out with my skates everyone is thinking the same thing or smtg and I end up not going because I wanna fall on my butt in peace, man😂
It looks peaceful in the shots but what you don’t see are the 3 or 4 failed takes where someone flies past on their bike or a random dog walks into frame 😂.
god I'm so glad to find one of these from a UK perspective, every time I've asked/researched about how to stay stable on rough and uneven pavements I just get 600 Americans telling me to find a smooth concrete path, like any of those actually exist here
It feels like an inside joke…I giggled so hard at Brandon Farris’ video when it came across my Facebook feed, and thought it was hilarious when he mentioned you! And to see this video including THAT video really made my day 😂😂

This was a great video! I used to play roller derby years ago and hurt my knee pretty badly. I've always been a little afraid of tackling outdoor skating but just bought another pair of skates to do exactly that. Thank you for the tips! I've subscribed!
Just started getting a little more adventurous with my outdoor skating. I used to only skate outside in a small flat-ish area but just this week I have been skating over cracks and uneven grounds. The stagger stance and staying super low is how I am able to do it, basically bending the knees as much as possible but keeping my back straight. The first time I skated over a crack I was going super slow and was almost sitting... that's how low I was and when I saw it wasn't too bad and I started getting more confidence and picked up the speed a bit which actually helped.
I started ice skating a few months ago. It was terrifying at first (i never did any sports and my physique was awful), but i got pretty Ok and confident with it over time. I can move freely with both feet on the ice, or even with one. I can skate backward on both feet, i can plow stop. I only fell three or four times times total i think, nothing major (never word any padding). I got bored of going in circles in one direction constantly and started dreaming about roller skating - change of scenery, can go whenever wherever. It honestly thought my ice skating skills would give me a huge head start and i would be flying with them in no time. WRONG!!!!!! I was wrong! The hubris! I fell three times in an hour, pretty gnarly, Thank God i was wearing serious protection on my elbows and wrists! I still sort of sprained my left wrist! It’s like I’m a complete and total beginner to skating! Terrifying! It was very hard to manoeuvre, the wheels are very clunky, wide and flat to the very edges (might try to change them), the wind, the ups and down, obstacles, uneven pavements oh my gosh! I stand humbled! But I am not giving up. I will look for better wheels and better surfaces. It was exhilarating as well as scary. Can’t wait to groove in them eventually!
You’ll get it. The transition takes a few goes and outside is so unforgiving too. If you’re coming from ice, don’t put the back of the skate in first like ice skaters do. Aim for the ball of the foot you’ll be much better balanced when changing feet that way.
The most informative yet concise video for beginners among the 12videos that i watched today. Wanna start now. Really a good teacher does half the job.. Thank you.
I primarily skate outside and I live up north so ideal surfaces are limited and I am used to it. The staggered stance is definitely where you want to be outdoors never the neutral. My body weight is always primarily on my back leg with the knee bent slightly as a shock absorber. Any weight I put on the lead foot is more in the heel and if I see debris or a substantial crack I will lift the toe on the lead skate. Briefly locking your stance muscularly to brace for a possible catch on pavement is helpful too. Anytime you can skate over cracks at an angle is going to lessen your chances of tripping with quad skates too. I rarely take a spill outside using these techniques and can power through some pretty rough surfaces and even patches of light gravel at a pretty high rate of speed. Over time when you develop your legs and dexterity you can even try to incorporate jumping and hopping from the staggered position to avoid pavement obstacles and large cracks or surface variations.

Thank you for bringing so much clarity with these videos! I recently picked up roller skating after I got rejected from my dream art school (Sheridan College’s famously competitive Animation program). It’s been a great new thing to break into, and it really helped me move on these past couple months! Would you have any advice to give as for getting more defined edges? Since quads have wider trucks, I find it harder to lean into a side (and I actually find my in-lines easier to manage for that reason). Keep up the excellent work!
Thank you. Sorry to hear about your disappointment. Skating is definitely my happy place to leave all the everyday worries behind for a while. I’ve just added an edges drills video. Make sure you have movement in your trucks too that can help with edges.
All great tips!! I find myself telling a lot of skaters some of these same tips when they ask how I can skate outside so often! 100% always recommend wearing pads too!! One other thing to mention is to get yourself some beefy toestops! You've got some great ones here, so this tip is for everyone else. Having large toestops can help you hold your balance when you're stopped, and also gives you a lot more power to control your speed when you are turning around backwards to stop. Powerdyne Jupiter or Gumball toestops are both really great options.
Great tips for skating outdoors! Only thing of note is that I would advise against T-stopping downhill, because depending on how steep and/or long the hill or the speed you are going at, and the material of the wheels, it will burn them flat, I had this happen to me once and never used T-stops while street skating.
I've been skating more or less for two summers with bad luck (inside wheels, bad feet, rain) and I've finally started fixing some of those things for this summer! This video is the most helpful I've seen since the Finnish pavements look exactly the same as in the UK (If a little bit worse 😂) and I feel a lot more confident now once my wheels arrive. Especially the hill tip was super important, I hadn't seen that anywhere in action with not perfectly smooth hills. Thank you so much and love from Finland! Side note to everyone else: if you get new wheels check if the pack has 4 or 8 wheels 😅 and 8 bearings will not be enough for two skates. They sold out the wheel color I got so now my already glitter colored skates will be even more chaotic, which I'm not mad about.
Ooo I love two colour wheels! Your skates will look amazing. Great tip about the quantities I think it’s because skate boarders use the same bearings and they only need 8 it’s often not very clear x. Glad the video has helped, I wish for those amazing smooth pavements! 😂 happy rolling 🛼💕😀
Tysm for this tips, I just got my rollers and many years I had in-line skates soooo it's quite weird with rollers bc I don't know really much about rollers 😅😅😅
Nice video not to stray off the subject but u ever noticed how bike trails are to be fun and relaxing but with a loud ass highway with trucks the states idea of nature I guess lol but nice video very informative it helped me out in a spot or two for improvement ty be well
I’ve been doing indoor skating for years and I’m comfortable dong that at any speed but I once tried outside and I was worse than I think every beginner I have ever seen lol thanks for the tips
I'm French living in the US. I used to do in line as a kid. But now o think i want to try those roller skates. Here you can't really find places to skate (like cycle lanes) but they have skate part and roller ring... So i still not sure which one to do but i probably try the skates... And yes! Thank you for showing tips with the rocks and twigs, we need more 😂
Finding a place to skate can definitely be tricky. Have lots of fun with your new hobby. I have lots of other video too which will help you get started, gain confidence and find your balance xx.
Friend, thank you so much for the video and for the lesson. I will be gifted with a pair of roller sooner and I’m so exciting to learn specially how to stop it and control the velocity. Seeing you doing seems so simple♥️. ~~Success~~⭐️
I live on top of a big hill, and I'm so grateful for this video because the walkways in my neighborhood are new and smooth right now, but they definitely have a lot of ups and downs that are easy for cyclists and pedestrians but not so much for skaters. Thanks for the tips!
I just got a new pair of roller skates today! I’m 14 and I’ve been looking and watching yt all day and so far this video is very helpful! I can’t wait to try out my new skates today
@@Skatie thanks! Also update: tried them and they are amazing!!! Here’s the twist, I don’t really know how to skate! But this video really did help me out mainly with the stops and helping me out with momentum
I just watched the whole video in preview on the homepage without sound, just subtitles and I don’t have roller skates or plan on getting them. I still liked the video and think it was great 😄
I was a competitive dance and figure skater in my youth and still do quite well, even when I've been off skates for years, when I skate INDOORS. Well, here in my area, the indoor rinks are not in the best areas so I decided to get a pair of outdoor skates. Oh, my, it's very very different and I feel like a beginner again. It's awful but I'm determined. My shins burn after just a few minutes and I couldn't figure out how to use a toe stop after decades of Tstops in the rinks. I'm glad to know I can use a Tstop with my outdoor skates because I'm most comfortable with that. Now, Katie, please tell me what plates, boots, and wheels you are using because they look a lot like my old indoor skates but I couldn't get something similar in an outdoor kit. Thank you for your videos!
Hi, I feel the trials of the rink rat, this is totally me! haha. Outside is so unforgiving. Good spot on the vintage setup! These are an atlas plate with a risport cristallo boot. I find that a stiff boot outside helps to support my pushing and stops some of the shin burn. With time I've grown to love an outdoor skate but I'm never as relaxed as I am in the rink.
I already Rollerskate but I need to get more stable because I want to learn how to do more things because I’m self tort and this realy helped thank you!
And here I am trying to be the next Brian Aragon lol. I haven't skated outside but I'd love to. Learned backwards skating and jump 360s in 1 1/2 month but don't own a pair only go to the rink this helps out a lot because outside is a different world as far as friction and surface it seems.
Great tips! I'd love a video on how to skate on decomposed granite. And your thoughts about skating on this surface & your favorite outdoor surface to skate on. Thanks so much!
Hi. (I have to admit to having to google decomposes granite!). 😂. It looks as though it has a fine gravel layer so I think that would be pretty hard to skate on. We have a local country park that has this type of path and I’m always sad that I cannot skate on it. I love smooth tarmac outside.
@@Skatie THANK YOU! We are thinking about putting pathway on our property to skate on (an inexpensive way) so that's why I asked...I guess that's not the answer. Thanks for your help.
I wish I watched this before I decided I could tackle one of those overpass things that go over a road and they're really steep and narrow. Good choice for my first day skating! It wasn't a graceful descent but at least I was able to slowly melt down the pass hanging on to the railing with minimal witnesses and minimal injuries. I wanted to know, how do you deal with those yellow bumpy curb thingies? The ones where sidewalks slope downwards to meet with the street.
Omg Thank You for This vídeo!!! I started learning skating last December but after a month I gave up. Why? Because there is no smooth place to skate near my house 🥲 And it was very frustrating to not be able to do it smoothly and fall all the time and I didn’t have enough strength to skate like this (physically). Please do more videos of skating outside 💚 and tricks/moves that we can do on the street
So glad it helped you. Next video is more tips for outdoors so hopefully that will help increase your confidence too. You’ve got this! Show those stones who’s boss xx
I went outside for my first time ever skating… now I’ve got a bandaid on my arm, and a sticker on my skates to cover up the nasty scratch I got when I tried (and missed 💀) to bail into a patch of grass
I can definitely say pads and a helmet are a must for me I broke my wrist just over a year ago on my skates stepping onto concrete from grass. I was one of these people that was like oh I don't need them until it happened. Anyways I now have a metal plate and 6 screws in my wrist for life and my skates don't go on my feet unless I have my knee pads and wrist guards on at the very least. Most of the time I wear a helmet as well as I have slipped over backwards countless times and hit my head on the floor. My advice for anyone who wants to skate is get the protective equipment it might not look cool but I would rather look silly than end up back in hospital.
Hi. These are roll-line helium. 84a. I like a bit of a harder wheels outside to give it some roll. I find the really soft 78a, although super soft for bumps etc they don’t roll as far.
What a coincidence, i have currently exact the same rolls in the same colors and position on my skates :D Thank you TH-cam algorithm! I'm a Trainer for artistic roller skating and I also teach a hobby group for adults where most of the athletes come from skating on the streets. Since I don't have a lot of experience skating outside as a beginner who cant control the skates, (I started skating outside after I already did 10 years of artistic skating) I hope I can find some Tips an tricks on your channel, that might be more suited for that group than figure skating elements. Thanks for doing this channel
Thank you. I’m a rink rat of many many years before heading outside. So it was huge learning curve for me when I started outside. The outside is so unforgiving. 🤕. Have fun with your classes. Sounds like you’re going to be an amazing coach to your skaters x
Soooo I started rollerskating a couple weeks ago and…. I FELL IN LOVE ❤ I went to a roller rink and was actually pretty good for my first time (yes I have practiced before I went 😂) and I’m going again tomorrow and whilst I’m watching this I’m stretching Top tips I learnt over the last few weeks: ALWAYS STRETCH Lean forwards 😅 BUBBLES V shape
I skated for the first time yesterday. I found an empty parking lot to skate around in and some girl walking her dog saw me and helped me out a bit. The dog didn't like the skates at all tho.
Just getting started with quad skates at my home we have tiles so it has less Bumps ..i can do it inside my home baby steps slowly but when i did it outside with slight bumps become a problem because i cant gain momentum and with slope and its damn hard haha
I just got my side by side and tried them outside for the first time. I used in liners when I were younger but that’s like…5+ years ago… I am watching this for the 10th time😂 you are good at explaining but danm I am not good 😂
i’m not in the UK, but the only place close to me that i can skate is like half bumpy and half smooth, and i have a pair of terrible skates. (they work for learning, but they’re chicago skates, they likely won’t hold forever)
Any advice on how to actually move outside 😅 I've been skating inside for a few months happy stopping going forward can go backwards a bit, can sometimes to a transition but when I go outside I literally dont move 🤣 thanks x
Outside is much more unforgiving then the beautiful smooth surface of a rink. I feel you. Do you know what wheels you have? Having big soft wheels can make a world of difference outside.
Hi! I Have wheels with high grip, and I am not able to go on the T position to stop. Wheels cause to much frictions and I fall, I am sure I am doing it wrong but not sure what
The t stop needs you to be able to balance on one leg so the other can be turned out and placed behind. It might just been you need a little more practice on one leg first.
I really want to get a pair of Roller skate shoes so that way after school I can just skate home but to get home it’s like 90% down hill so makes it pretty difficult hopefully I get these for Christmas but it depends on shipping
Do you need to adjust your trucks to be able to do the one foot bubble more easily? I find it easy to do regular bubbles, but am struggling with doing it with just the one foot.
It can take a lot of leg strength to get the one foot bubble too. You could try to loosen your truck just a 1/4 turn at a time and see if it helps. Remember if it gets so loose you can move it with your hand best to tighten it up a little. Hope this helps you 🛼💕😀happy rolling
I’m about to try to roller skate outside tomorrow!! I know how to skate pretty good but I learned in my house so I’m gonna try on the road! Sure my neighbors are gonna laugh at me 💀💀😭
thank you for this!!!! nyc sidewalks are horrible. currently trying to tackle the cement with a thousand little rocks embedded in it that's right outside my house. might have to just put my skates on at the park :(
This was really helpful, thanks! Question, what requirements should I have to start skating outside? For example, be able to transition, skate backwards and stuff like that? I recently bought a pair of quads after not skating for 3 years, and before that I wore inlines! I've only tried skating at my nearby playground, but I want to try going to a park.
I’d recommend having a couple of ways of stopping confidently. You never know what you might encounter that needs you to stop quickly and a confident forward skate with a staggered stance. Turns and backwards for outside are a little more risky so perhaps only give those a go once your feeling ready. Gear up and go for it. Have fun xx ⛑️
How do you feel about the vibrations against your feet whilst skating outside? Lol. Strange question I know but every time I try and skate on normal surface outside the vibrations from all of the little bumps hurt the bottom of my soles. Is this something you just have to get used to? Amazing video, I’m so glad I found this 👏🥰
The wheels make a huge difference in ride comfort. Soft wheels 78a-85a absorb the vibrations etc and then the bigger the better 60-65mm. Think if them as your tyres the bigger and squishier they are the less vibrations will travel to your feet.
Normally these "how to skate outside" videos irritate me to no end because the person is there explaining how to skate on uneven surfaces while standing on the smoothest promenade EVER! I swear the UK councils purposely make the roads and paths as rough as possible for us skaters.
100%. They certainly haven’t improved over the winter! 😂

Have fun. I have understand that feeling as I have the opposite problem xx 😂 in-line feels so familiar but so different as well.
Nice video not to stray off the subject but u ever noticed how bike trails are to be fun and relaxing but with a loud ass highway with trucks the states idea of nature I guess lol but nice video very informative it helped me out in a spot or two for improvement ty be well
Glad it helped. We definitely have a few bike paths that cut through the country side but some do follow loud main roads too.
Thank you so much! 🙌🏽 Now I feeling more comfortable skating outside!
Wonderful! ⭐️🛼😎🌟
I’ve been doing indoor skating for years and I’m comfortable dong that at any speed but I once tried outside and I was worse than I think every beginner I have ever seen lol thanks for the tips
Outside is so unforgiving! As a rink rat this was definitely a surprise for me too!’
Same here I'm still trying to get comfortable with outdoor skating 😫
Katie your videos are a godsend! You explain everything so well!
Oh thank you so much. That’s so kind. Hope you enjoy your skating 💕🛼😀
great educational video, right on the topic.
Thank you 💕🛼
Your videos are so clear and fun to watch! Thank you!
Thank you. 💕🛼
Very amusing and enjoyable delivery of these tips!
Thank you 💕⭐️🛼😀
Friend, thank you so much for the video and for the lesson. I will be gifted with a pair of roller sooner and I’m so exciting to learn specially how to stop it and control the velocity. Seeing you doing seems so simple♥️. ~~Success~~⭐️
Have fun in your new skates xx 🛼🛼
@@Skatie thank you so much, friend, and I’m having. The pairs arrived Saturday afternoon. This is the best gift I have 🌸♥️♥️♥️🌸
Her laughter is so infectious lol
😂💕💕⭐️⭐️😂
I live on top of a big hill, and I'm so grateful for this video because the walkways in my neighborhood are new and smooth right now, but they definitely have a lot of ups and downs that are easy for cyclists and pedestrians but not so much for skaters. Thanks for the tips!
Our skate wheels notice the tiniest up and downs don’t they! So do my legs. 🦵 🥵 😂
New subscriber here.🙂
Its been years and am getting back into it. Your videos have helped me a lot more than others I watched. Thank you!
Oh that’s fantastic, thank you so much 👋🛼💕👍
I love that she included the clip from Brandon Farris' skating video
😂 😂
This was so good! I got some skates a week ago for some exercise and kind of found a lot of this stuff out the hard way almost immediately lol
Thank you. Hope it helps you get used to your new skates. Have fun xx
I just got a new pair of roller skates today! I’m 14 and I’ve been looking and watching yt all day and so far this video is very helpful! I can’t wait to try out my new skates today
New skates are the best. Have a great skate. 🛼💕😀
@@Skatie thanks! Also update: tried them and they are amazing!!! Here’s the twist, I don’t really know how to skate! But this video really did help me out mainly with the stops and helping me out with momentum
@@MaayasDiary that’s fantastic. Have lots of fun x
@@Skatie thanks😁👍🏾
thank u for these great tips! i love ur energy too 🥳🛼
Thank you 🛼⭐️💕💕
I just watched the whole video in preview on the homepage without sound, just subtitles and I don’t have roller skates or plan on getting them. I still liked the video and think it was great 😄
Oh wow! Thank you 😀⭐️💕⭐️
I was a competitive dance and figure skater in my youth and still do quite well, even when I've been off skates for years, when I skate INDOORS.
This was a very helpful video I live in UK and I always was a fan of rollerskating thank you for giving me the tips skatie this was very helpful
👋🇬🇧thank you and happy rolling
I already Rollerskate but I need to get more stable because I want to learn how to do more things because I’m self tort and this realy helped thank you!
Have fun 🛼💕😀
I'm right there with you 😊
And here I am trying to be the next Brian Aragon lol. I haven't skated outside but I'd love to. Learned backwards skating and jump 360s in 1 1/2 month but don't own a pair only go to the rink this helps out a lot because outside is a different world as far as friction and surface it seems.
100% outside is much more unforgiving. Make sure to get full safety gear for outside. Have fun 🤩🌟🛼
Love the sound effect for the hill 😂😂
😂 😂
The fact you added a scene of iambrandonfarris rollerskateing- I can't 😭 I absolutely love him-
We couldn’t believe it when we mentioned us in his video we had to include him. 😂
She makes it look so easy

I wish I watched this before I decided I could tackle one of those overpass things that go over a road and they're really steep and narrow. Good choice for my first day skating! It wasn't a graceful descent but at least I was able to slowly melt down the pass hanging on to the railing with minimal witnesses and minimal injuries. I wanted to know, how do you deal with those yellow bumpy curb thingies? The ones where sidewalks slope downwards to meet with the street.
I cover those in this video
th-cam.com/video/RalOUcnYE2k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=604UTj2x9u5Xez7U
Omg Thank You for This vídeo!!! I started learning skating last December but after a month I gave up. Why? Because there is no smooth place to skate near my house 🥲 And it was very frustrating to not be able to do it smoothly and fall all the time and I didn’t have enough strength to skate like this (physically). Please do more videos of skating outside 💚 and tricks/moves that we can do on the street
So glad it helped you. Next video is more tips for outdoors so hopefully that will help increase your confidence too. You’ve got this! Show those stones who’s boss xx
@@Skatie Thanks Skatie
This information is super helpful. Thank you so much!
So glad it helped. Enjoy your skating. 😀💕🛼
I went outside for my first time ever skating… now I’ve got a bandaid on my arm, and a sticker on my skates to cover up the nasty scratch I got when I tried (and missed 💀) to bail into a patch of grass
Very helpful! Thank you! Xxx
Have lots of fun! ⭐️🛼💕
Absolutely! I feel naked without my safety gear outside ! 😟 ⛑️ sorry you had a nasty fall xx
Made my day when you included Brandon Farris in this video :)
😂😂 he included me in his learning to skate video so it only seemed right to pop a clip in 😂. He’s so funny, love his channel.
thanks for your advice, greetings from Barcelona (Spain)

Never on a skating video do they tell you what wheels they're using or what size. Appreciate the lessons and thank you.
Hi, where did you get the wheels from? I think you mentioned a hardness of a75? All I ever find is a78. Thanks, and happy skating :))
Hi. These are roll-line helium. 84a. I like a bit of a harder wheels outside to give it some roll. I find the really soft 78a, although super soft for bumps etc they don’t roll as far.
What a coincidence, i have currently exact the same rolls in the same colors and position on my skates :D
Thank you TH-cam algorithm!
@@Skatie thank you so much! I hope you will prove right in the future :D
Yeahhhh after eating concrete yesterday, I'm ordering some support gear for my hands and knees!
Ouch. I learnt the hard way too. Hope you’re not too sore 🤕
This is so helpful!
This is helpful bc I always skate outside but fall a lot the nearest rink is like 3 hours away 😢
Outside can be unforgiving. Keep those feet staggered and stay low.
@@Skatie thanks I won't give up I went out again today and I actually didn't crash
Soooo I started rollerskating a couple weeks ago and….
I FELL IN LOVE ❤
I went to a roller rink and was actually pretty good for my first time (yes I have practiced before I went 😂) and I’m going again tomorrow and whilst I’m watching this I’m stretching
Top tips I learnt over the last few weeks:
ALWAYS STRETCH
Lean forwards 😅
BUBBLES
V shape
That is awesome! Well done. Have fun 💕⭐️😎
Love your videos as always. Maybe for the next one you can tell us more about your artistic skating and show us videos of you doing them.
Great idea x. Thank you 🛼💕👍
I skated for the first time yesterday. I found an empty parking lot to skate around in and some girl walking her dog saw me and helped me out a bit. The dog didn't like the skates at all tho.
My brother’s dogs bark at my skates like mad! Something about 🐶 + 🛼. They are not friends. Glad you found somewhere to skate x
Just getting started with quad skates at my home we have tiles so it has less Bumps ..i can do it inside my home baby steps slowly but when i did it outside with slight bumps become a problem because i cant gain momentum and with slope and its damn hard haha
I have learnt half of skating from her . Thank u 😌

I just got my side by side and tried them outside for the first time. I used in liners when I were younger but that’s like…5+ years ago… I am watching this for the 10th time😂 you are good at explaining but danm I am not good 😂
Thank you x. Help practicing, it can take a little while to gain your balance and transpose the skills across. It will click xx You’ve got this x
I tried outdoor skating on a very loose gravel and it went bad. Ill try staggering and half bubbles next time. thank you!
Some surfaces just aren’t skateable. Be careful of gravel it can be really skiddy.
I was on the roughest concrete today and could not enjoy myself. Like trying to rollerskate on gravel, it was short lived of course
Thank you, the video was really helpful! Can you pls tell what kind of wheels do you use while skating outside in terms of softness?
We have a dedicated wheels video. th-cam.com/video/oOd7oR6BO_8/w-d-xo.html
Love it!

i’m not in the UK, but the only place close to me that i can skate is like half bumpy and half smooth, and i have a pair of terrible skates. (they work for learning, but they’re chicago skates, they likely won’t hold forever)
this is rlly helping my daugther followes this and it helps alot

This found me 7 years too late lol
Oh no! Are you still skating?
I love that you included a brandon feris clip 😂😂
We couldn’t believe it when he mentioned our channel! Plus, he’s just hilarious. 😂 💕😂😂
Me wanting to learn how to rollerskate but I literally live on a street that translates into "lovely hill"... I hate that hill
Oh wow !! That sounds less than ideal! 😳
Thank you ❤🎉
I really want to get a pair of Roller skate shoes so that way after school I can just skate home but to get home it’s like 90% down hill so makes it pretty difficult hopefully I get these for Christmas but it depends on shipping
What a great way to get to school! Fantastic idea
All put into practice skating at Betteshanger today 😉
Most definitely. We need to go again, really enjoyed it.
The Brandon Farris reference is amazing
We couldn’t believe it when he mentioned us! Love his videos. 😂
Sure my neighbors are gonna laugh at me 💀💀😭
Have an amazing time. I’m sure you’re neighbours will be very jealous of your wheels! 💕⭐️⭐️⭐️🛼🛼
thank you for this!!!!
nyc sidewalks are horrible. currently trying to tackle the cement with a thousand little rocks embedded in it that's right outside my house. might have to just put my skates on at the park :(
Oh that’s sounds like a horrid surface. Sometimes it’s just not skateable. 😢
@@Skatie Thank you!
I can’t get more momentum doing the one leg bubble in staggered stance. I just slow to a stop…am I doing it wrong??
Try leaning hard on the inside edge of the foot doing the bubble. That will give you lots of speed.
@@Skatie That makes a lot of sense. I think I need to invest in some new wheels. Thank you 🙏🥰
But I have 1 question which skates are the best the ones that have two skates, back and two skates, Ford or the ones that are in a straight line😕😅
