  • Simon Hall talks about why the rules are written in base widths to allow you to play Mortem et Gloriam with existing figures and no rebasing. Using figures from his own collection in several different formats, he shows how it is easy to play the Mortem et Gloriam system with any of them. At PWG his local club, they regularly play giant battles using Saga individual figures or large Impetus-style bases. Whatever your own basing convention there will be an easy way to make it work without rebasing anything.

Cheers for that. Makes things a lot clearer and answers my questions.

Just purchased your rules and a Punic War battle set (Rome vs Carthage) from World of Fun (Wofun) Boardgames. Looking forward to playing!
