I get the impression that all the mechanics are simple but come together in a way that adds a lot of diverse situations and choices. And with the faction pack, you could play anywhere from solo to roughly 20 players.

AS a large battle game you don't want that to explicit as it would be 2 figures a maniple. For that you need a special ruleset figting much smaller battles, But the system handle it in effect in that the a legion of MRR is 5 bases - 2 hastati, 2 Prinripes and 1 triarii so the 3 ranks exist. As battle progress you stat mocing line of a few of these , then them indicual , then end up moving individual bases. the alternitve is to accept you are playing a much smaller came and set each 4 base usin to be a maniple and then you can do it excatly as it was. And it works really well at breaking up a vilaent charge or delaing with elephnats at Zama. But the reality then is you will have 1 legion on the table at normal rmy size (10 legioanry untis and 4 velites is about and army). but if you have enough figures you can do it triple ize and voila!

Your ruleset is really interesting and I’ve been watching a lot of your content online and listening to the podcasts you’ve been on. As soon as I get a little more time (3 kids at home under 3 😆) I’ll definitely be purchasing the boxset and getting my local wargamers involved 👍

The nomral game is 3000pts a side. This isn't pointed as set up from historial OOB, but I would estimate just a bit larger.

Fantastic. I am sure you will really enjoy it. Found a way to make roads work nicely and in a simple way. Markets, Barracks and Walling all playing a big part in the game. Adding "Ancient Wonder" as the 5th ultimate build. Very happy with the economic and regional development rules and components now. Game looks great as well with all the developing items appearing on the board. I have found a way to take some things off the map which will make them stand out even more.

Yes do give it a go. Its a lot of fun and the armies have very good historical feel. What were the technical problem? It's a video of me playing people in Thailand. But no technical issues I am aware of.

What are you watching on? T e entire sheet seems to be on screen when I test it. We are looking at some other warrants as well to make it increasingly accessible.

It works on Google Sheets. Does NOT work on Open office

@@draxspellfax9427 For some it does not work well on Google Sheets either, the Print page 'Display' drop down merely produces a mass of garbled icons (as mentioned on the MeG FB page discussion). On Libre Office it also works, mostly, but again, system specific issues with that too.

We wanted to make a breakthrough in points systems so for a while important to do it this way. But we are now looking at making it increasingly accessible for everyone. More news soon.

Thanks Bob. That is indeed what makes it as a game. Very interesting flow and feel that represents a lot of army characteristics naturally and feels like the ebb and flow of action. Army lists are core income fro Mark Bevis my co-author so we are doing those the same way as he does Micromark - online and a small charge for each list, pick and choose what you want. S

Another good way. How do you cover the figure bases? I always found they stuck out before I found this method. What I like about this is they disappear completely with ease.

@@CCC_GAMES your right...some fig bases are very thick.....i forgot your method is how i based FOW figs using outside emulsion which was soopa thick !!!! too messy..
