Gyeon continues to impress with their products. I worked with my buddies during the summer and coated 3 cars with MOHS EVO which is also a fantastic product. Ceramic detail spray as a maintenance is also a great product.
Gyeon CanCoat was one of the first products I used when starting out putting sio2 products on paint. I was impressed back then and am still impressed now years later. I believe it’s the best product that Gyeon makes. With the original CanCoat I got a solid year of durability out it on my buggy that sits outside 24/7.
Same here. It (original 6 months CanCoat) lasted over one year on daily ungraged driver with ZERO special (sio2 etc) maintaining products. I didn't want to enhnce or expend the product's performance. I wanted to see how it works by it ls own. And i was amazed. Now i might add some sio2 product as maintainance (as rinseless wash or detailer)
Brian, FYI, just tried the Extra Tough wheel & tire cleaner, waterless. It worked great! Also, worked on my Weather Tech floor mats. If you're a rinseless guy, have live in cold/snowy climate, the wheel cleaner is a must! Thank you!
This is a fantastic product and for how easy it is to use and how affordable it is a great option for anyone not wanting a full ceramic coating. It is much like a typical paint sealant but the results are incredible. Great job, dude!
Brian, great video. Can Coat is a great Gyeon product, and as you put it it's "Stupid Easy". The Jeep looks great. Nice work polishing and applying Can Coat.
I really liked applying can coat on top of Pure and MOHS. It may be in my head, but it seemed to have more gloss after applying on top of the coating. I tried cleaning the sprayers immediately...and they still clogged. In the trash they went. Jeep looks good!
I just used this last week and it's very very difficult to wipe off. My microfiber towel got stuck right away and required tremendous force to move it. I don't know why almost everybody on TH-cam say it's easy to apply. Does the type of microfiber towel matter? Cuz I didn't use the one supplied.
@@iPat6G I’ve used multiple different microfibers and they all do about the same with this coating. You must have got a bad bottle because it should be extremely simple to remove. I would call Gyeon USA and talk them about it.
Hello very nice video , 2 weeks ago i have applied “Gyeon Can coat Evo” on my black car. I have now a little scratch to polish on my bumper. Once i have finished with the machine polisher can i reapply the “Can coat Evo” only in that little spot after prep? Thanks and best regards.
This stuff does have crazy hydrophobics. Only downfall for me is that the paint on my new Camaro SS1LE is a sticky paint and it took me 2hrs to apply this because it was awful trying to remove as it was so grabby and sticky. Thats car to car basis as i did my buddies new 911 with it and it took me 20mins to do the whole car as it went on and had hardly anything to remove.
Great demo Brian amd I’m sold. After using UK 3.0 on my last two cars, I wasn’t looking forward to doing it again. If it’s this easy, hell I’d be glad to respray it again every 8-12 mos!
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Two questions Brian: 1. Is a second coat recommended? If yes, how many hours in between coats? 2. What would you recommend for a top coat to it to improve gloss?
Hey I enjoyed your review and I was looking to re-purchase a ceramic that I used before, it worked great. I wanted to try something new. This seems easy, quick, and not too expensive. I do wish that you would have used a dark color car or test panel. Although the grey looks shiny, it leaves much to desire as compared to a darker color. And I wish you would have done a water test to see how it performs. I went to another reviewer and they showed it on a dark color and the water test. So I think I'll get a can. Thank you for the info.
If you had to pick one product that creates insane hydrophobic properties what would it be? Does putting two layers increase hydrophobic properties? Thanks
Hmmmm intriguing! I'm torn on my next easy DIY paint coating. I was thinking Meg's hybrid paint coating but if I can wipe off as soon as I apply this may be worth it. I'm also considering DPC Flashback which you can coat an entire car and then wipe off. Speed is key!

I think I remember reading somewhere that you can recoat after one hour? Thank you for your great video and sharing your knowledge.
Yes you can 1 hour after the first coat. You are welcome

What advantage is there to having Mohs EVO underneath the can coat?
Jeep looks great. Silver looks amazing when paint is polished and protected.

I’ve never heard of that but good to know if I detail one in the future.

The sunlight is my problem being a mobile detailer. Guess I'm gonna have to invest in a canopy lol
Yes but understandable why they don’t want it apples it direct sunlight.

I have Koch Chemie micro cut and finish. Would I be able to apply this on top.
Can coat is on sale for $50. Do I need it? Seal and shine has been good for me.
How is it detailer friendly if you can't have the car outside for 24 hours? I though Gyeon said 12?
If you had to pick one product that creates insane hydrophobic properties what would it be? Does putting two layers increase hydrophobic properties? Thanks
Man that’s hard to say there are so many good products out there. If you are talking Ceramic Coating I would say Gyeon Mohs or Can Coat.
and both of those mentioned can be stacked for superior pop and longevity
Heey can you do more layers on? Like 2 or 3 layers ? And if it can how long you must wait to put the new layer on?
Yes you can. No more then an hour in between coats
Man, that looks fantastic, Brian! Just out of curiosity, what compound and pad did you use before using Gyeon Primer?
Thanks! Vonixx V-Cut with a microfiber pad
Superb Brian!💪👍👌
Thanks!
What type of compound and primer did you use on the car.
I used Gyeon Compound and Gyeon Primer
That's some pretty amazing looking stuff 😮 I like that kind👍🏽

Yes that would be enough for one car
Great demonstration FAB! Did you use it on the trim? Happy New Year to you and your family!
Thank you! No I didn’t use it on the trim. Happy New Year to you also
Nice. Probably will last longer than a year with proper maintenance.
I believe it will no problem.
Original, "6 months" version lasted od my daily ungaraged driver over a year. If that tells you anything.

Yes you can

Possibly or the temperature can also play a factor in wipe off
