Your bedroom looks great but I don't get why you put a carpet down then cover 90% of it with the bed.
Thank you! We love the look too. We decided not to put carpet in the bedrooms to keep it cleaner, so we decided to use throw rugs to step on when we step out of bed 😉
@@wildwoodoffgridalaska that only works if you levitate off the foot of the bed to get out. If you get off from the side, you don't have carpet there ??

The camera was off because of all the swearing 🤣🤣🤣. I’ve done the same thing with those shocks and boy o boy my wife heard some terms and sayings that would make a sailor blush🤣🤣🤣. Looks great and the house is coming along awesome.

I have those gas pistons on my Truck tailgate so it doesn't slam open. With the Lake view yall have, I wouldn't mind going out and not catching anything other than catching up with my own thoughts and making some plans. If a fish was big enough to take home, would be a bonus.

Really beautiful there, but to damn cold...lol 😂 Ya'll did an amazing job in the bedroom, kudos to the mudder taper.. no pun intended..😅 The pantry access door worked out perfectly, and the handle even can be pulled in if SHTF.. New subscriber, stumbled on one of your early videos and followed the progress over the last few days. We did a similar adventure 20 years ago, retired from the USCG, bought wooded property, built our own house, etc. Although not "off the grid" we incorporated a lot of features to allow us to live like we are off the grid for quite a while without having to leave the property. Woln't bore you with all that, but we learned some valuable lessons along the way. One was that I will never have any carpet in a house I live in ever again, we've spent the last 20 years room by room getting rid of it. Laminate, tile, hardwood and throw rugs instead. Will not do any drywall again, too much finish required, PITA to hang things like wall mounts/heavy items, easily damaged, and over the long haul wood on the inside walls and ceilings is just a better deal all the way around. Anyhow, will be following along and really looking forward to seeing the outside finish work.......

So just wondering where you purchased the fan light in your masterbedroom? I really like the way you are decorating. We are not gaining 3 minutes a day here in NJ, but at least it is 59 degrees today. I did look through the description for the fan.
