Our first summer on leech lake & 13,acres bordering the National Forest we had a huge tornado that hit our property & brought down numerous trees & disappeared over the lake & hit Brainerd. Congrats!! I’m in Wisconsin!! My wife and I have a cabin here in Wisconsin that needed work just like the one you guys have! Boy was I against buying it but the wife said but we could make it our own.. Yeah I tell you guys it was a journey with all the work but now it’s all done and I love the place! No work is ever done we always find something to do when we go up! Now we are adding on to the place! 🤦♂️🤣🤣. I can’t wait to watch all your videos coming up because I will watch and get ideas from you guys! 😀. Good luck and have fun!! 🍻

So happy for you guys! Anxious to watch the transformation. I know it will be epic! Try stuffing dryer sheets in the chair to keep the mice from moving in. That and Irish spring soap have kept my camper mice free over many winters. You are living the dream!

For future you guys.. because your so far out.. you may wanna consider a clearing near the cabin for an emergency helicopter to land if necessary and to know your GPS coordinates for said med flight to find you guys. Something you don't think about doing but you probably should have a plan just in case 😊
Laura don’t feel bad about taking a wrong turn I have lived in the Minneapolis Saint Paul area my whole life I still don’t like navigating through Minneapolis. The bobcat was definitely a good purchase there is so much I could accomplish if I had one. The mice are definitely a pain to deal with was up at our place last weekend and spent most of Saturday morning cleaning out mouse nests out of 3 of the four wheelers. Can’t wait to see what adventures you two have at the Moose Lodge.

I saw something in the cabin I had not seen since childhood. The dinning room table. Metal legs and one that you could maybe pull out and put an insert in to make larger. Must be at least 70 plus years old.

Put Steal wire mash around in all the drain holes helps keep them from squizing in from under the home . Or get a cat .Meow lol.
