Well, It all comes down to the design and with the Aorus Master, the LCD screen, I don't think the Asus card has a screen on it, also haven't tested the Asus TUF Gaming card, so I have no clue how it's like.

Great video, super detailed, well spoken and great camera angles. I've just purchased this gfx card myself after giving up on a 3080 for the time being. I owned a 1070 before my current 1080ti Xtreme and it served me well just lack the grunt of their big brothers. I'm excited for this card.

Great review, subscribed. I've had this card for a week. Thought the LCD would be a gimmick but I absolutely love it now. I'm finding it a little bit noisy but haven't experimented with the fans yet. Gaming results are excellent at 1440p.
Great card for 1440p and I love the LCD screen as well! ended up switching off the in-game OSD, now I just look at the mini screen on the card for temps and fan speed 😊

Hey dude, thanks for watching and nope, the RGB and LCD config isn't stored on the card, so when you pop the card into another machine it will go back to its default settings. You will need to install RGB fusion and configure again.
@@TechGuyCharlie well it came in, and it died within five hours... did some troubleshooting today and tried a better power supply and as soon as I turned it on, one of the capacitors blew off and the card started smoking. I am lucky however because best buy is giving me a replacement, I just have to drive an hour to go pick it up. Guess I can’t win them all hahaha
I recommend undervolting this card. I don't know why the fans need to spin up to 2000RPM. MSI Suprim and ASUS strix do not need to spin this fast because they have a good cooler. I have this card and I am disappointed. However an undervolt to 925mv and 1950MHz (do your own testing and changes) has dropped temperature by 5 to 7c and has made the fan drop by 200 to 300RPM compared to stock, all using the OC BIOS and the stock fan curve. Cooler isn't great but it can at least be made to run a bit cooler and quieter with some tweaking. If you're looking to spend this much on a 3070 I recommend the MSI Suprim or ASUS TUF
I got mine about a week or so after the 3070's dropped in a bundle deal on newegg, I have zero complaints. Never seen it get over 64C in a Micro ATX case. The LCD screen is actually super handy to easily monitor it.

Your video looks stunning, so whatever aspect ratio you prefer shooting in. Today, after like the 100th time reading "you weren't selected for the Newegg shuffle", finally saw "congrats, you've been selected in the Newegg shuffle". It happened to be this card combo-ed along with b550 Aorus Pro AC motherboard that I'll use since I've got a homeless 5600x I was gonna tryout with older AMD mobo. So stoked and can't wait. That screen is really something. A ways since the days of waiting for AGP to show up, for damn sure. Thanks for showcasing this graphics card so well.

I got for $799. and saved $15 off a b550 Aorus mobo in the forced combo purchase. The 5600x will be a second build as I have an i5-10600k right now. Looking forward to comparing the two builds though as they should be good apples to apples type comparison.
I just fit my Aorus 3070 TI and was super disappointed they didnt supply any support bracket or any PCIe cables extra. ( i know most cables are psu specific ) but man i thought because the 3070 was 650w my 650w psu would be fine oh boy was i wrong!! after 3 days of no pc and awaiting parts, a new PSU later shes fitted and looking/running beautiful!
I was surprised they didn't include a support bracket either, it isn't needed, but adds a feeling of 'fullness' to the case. I think MSI includes one with their cards. Glad you got the card working 😊

No issues at all. The card is working great, although I had to make some tweaks to the RGB fusion software, it started interfering with the external HDD and RAM RGB (there is a video about that on the channel) , after that everything has been working great. I've swapped my case to a smaller one, video about it is coming next week. 😊 Go for the Aorus, you will love it.

Thanks for your test, I have the same TV (Q80T), but here in Italy the latest software update is 1460.9 at the moment. Do you have any update on the problem? I have a 1080Ti so I couldn't check this (3070/3080 are currently out of stock everywhere :( ). I also found a strange issue in 1400p (no VRR/Gsync) at 60Hz with game mode: in the lower part of the screen, 4-5cm from the bottom, there's an horizontal "invisible" line with tearing problem. It only happens in 1400p@60Hz with game mode enabled, it doesn't occur in any other resolution/refresh rate. Could you please check this too? I think it's software related, there's a couple o people noticed this too on various forum. Thanks for your time!!!

You probably figured it out, but just in case people read your comment in the future and have the same question, you can use the split one, or separate. Doesn't matter. To save space you can use the split one. It is the same thing.
I recently got this card and the RGB does not light up on it and RGB Fusion doesn't detect the card. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
Not at all, It's running completely stock, no OC or under/over voting, high preset but RTX is set to medium. Never seen temps rise above 75 even after gaming continuously for hours on, which is great considering the airflow isn't that great in this case because of the glass panels blocking the intake.

I actually transplanted everything into a smaller case, and got one of those sleeved cables, they look quite nice, but still covers the entire Aorus logo on the front lol, might re-route them from the top for a cleaner look, and I have a build video of that as well th-cam.com/video/gLbNbGtDEuo/w-d-xo.html And Crypto might have gone down but the pricing for the newer 4000 series is insane, I was looking into reviewing an RTX 4080 or a 4090, but can't afford either one, at the moment 3000 series is the best value for money.

Unfortunately no, this card requires RGB Fusion. I ended up un-installing their software and leaving RGB on default, which is the rainbow wave pattern.
since, its been 3 years. how is the temp? some say, the temps go high after sometime, since this has bad factory paste and pads? noticing mine to reach 80
Temps are still similar to what they were 2 and a half years ago, now that I've got 4K 120hz working properly it's common for this card to touch 80*C while gaming, and it runs slightly cooler while playing games at 4K 60hz. But, what has changed is, that the blue LEDs have stopped working, and the red LEDs flicker in the AORUS logo which is disappointing because it messes up the looks of my build. Poor quality control I guess.
Really hoping for a reply, as I have this same exact graphics card and it came with my prebuilt. I installed RGB Fusion 2.0, but I don't get the option to customize my GPU.
I've had lower performance in-game issues with my mine when I run all 3 of my monitors that are using display port. If I disable all but 1 of my monitors I get normal performance.
It should, this GPU fits in my old pre-built HP Pavilion desktop PC, should not have a problem fitting into an m-atx case. Although you still might wanna check the GPU clearance listed on NZXTs website for h510 elite before buying.

They should just have a power cable adapter, kind of like EVGA, that would route the cables up and and over to the right side of the card...

70c at max load isn't bad at all for Tomb Raider high RTX on. Did you undervolt at all?

Never seen temps rise above 75 even after gaming continuously for hours on, which is great considering the airflow isn't that great in this case because of the glass panels blocking the intake.
I wonder if you are able to customize the LED screen with a 3rd party RGB controller software like Signal RGB.

Just so you guys know though, it is possible with a touch of cable management to get the pcie power cables out the way of the little rgb strip lol.

I actually transplanted everything into a smaller case, and got one of those sleeved cables, they look quite nice, but still covers the entire Aorus logo on the front lol, might re-route them from the top for a cleaner look, and I have a build video of that as well th-cam.com/video/gLbNbGtDEuo/w-d-xo.html
And Crypto might have gone down but the pricing for the newer 4000 series is insane, I was looking into reviewing an RTX 4080 or a 4090, but can't afford either one, at the moment 3000 series is the best value for money.

Yeah, oh for sure, I get you but to be fair, even if it dropped to like 700-800, it's unlikely I'd ever go for the 4000 series anyway, simply for the fact I'd have to swap out my power supply too lol although, if you do get your hands on one, I'll check out your review lol.

Unfortunately no, this card requires RGB Fusion. I ended up un-installing their software and leaving RGB on default, which is the rainbow wave pattern.
since, its been 3 years. how is the temp? some say, the temps go high after sometime, since this has bad factory paste and pads? noticing mine to reach 80
Temps are still similar to what they were 2 and a half years ago, now that I've got 4K 120hz working properly it's common for this card to touch 80*C while gaming, and it runs slightly cooler while playing games at 4K 60hz.
But, what has changed is, that the blue LEDs have stopped working, and the red LEDs flicker in the AORUS logo which is disappointing because it messes up the looks of my build. Poor quality control I guess.

I've had lower performance in-game issues with my mine when I run all 3 of my monitors that are using display port. If I disable all but 1 of my monitors I get normal performance.

It should, this GPU fits in my old pre-built HP Pavilion desktop PC, should not have a problem fitting into an m-atx case. Although you still might wanna check the GPU clearance listed on NZXTs website for h510 elite before buying.

2000 rpm is not too loud? I asume it depends on the fans the card has, but tested a evga ftw3 and at 2000 rpm it was really noisy.
Nvidia cant put 12 gigabytes of vram on that card. the reason its an 8gig is because the structure of the card only allows for 8 or 16.
